Acorn will come back under a new name

Acorn folds – Ben Smith – POLITICO.com.

The bankruptcy decision has concluded with flushing the ACORN brand and unmentioned plans to regroup under different name(s).  (This is what happens when one flushes a floater.  It resurfaces in smaller pieces.)

Watch for your favorite acorn offices to reopen with new signs, and as you see it occurring, please give the info on your blogs.

Bankruptcy is merely the legal means to refuse to pay outstanding debts in full.

Republicans Are Not Finished With Obstructing Obamacare

Work with the Senate parlimentarian has been underway, but concealed from house democrats as they completed their suicide run.
The House changes to the Senate Bill will be obstructed, and the House Democrats will pay a price for permitting the senate bill to become the law of the land.

Obama’s promise to address concerns about abortion is just another lie, and an excuse for the house democrats to flout the will of the American people.

Tonight’s vote will make it easier for us to remove more democrats from office in November 2010.

Eagle Forum’s Phyllis Shlafly Says it Succinctly.

“Mr. Stupak and his Democrat followers have now clarified that you cannot be pro-life and be a Democrat. If abortion was truly their biggest issue, they wouldn’t willfully align themselves with the Party of Death.”

“This vote will expose the myth of the ‘pro-life Democrat.’ With this single vote, the Democratic Party will divide our nation into the Party of Death and the Party of Life, and future elections will never be the same.”

We know exactly which is the party of death. The number of opposing parties depends on how diligently the Republicans carry out their fight against socialized medicine and other government encroachments on our freedom.

“Walmart Derangement Syndrome”??

Just Blame It on Walmart and Sue Em!!!!

This is brought to Pharmer’s attention by a comment by “Firmworm”,at Newsbusters 15:05- 3/20, who supplied the title, and  who found no Walmart store in this location on Google maps.  The Bell Road store  is a good distance away.

The Text of this article says:”PHOENIX – A group of people were seriously injured when they were attacked by a swarm of bees in north Phoenix.
It happened at about 8 p.m. at a Wal-Mart store in the area of 3rd Avenue and Bell Road”
.

However the associated video describes the attack occurring as the ladies walked along the street near the intersection of 3rd and Bell in Phoenix Arizona.
Not at a Walmart store at all.    Also the bees nest was found attached to a building which was  obviously not a part of a Walmart business.

See for yourself how far the bee attack is from the Walmart store: zoom into store #20, and check where 3rd street and Bell is.

House leaders plan separate health vote, rejecting ‘deem and pass’ – washingtonpost.com

House leaders plan separate health vote, rejecting ‘deem and pass’ – washingtonpost.com.

Dems chickened out on their unconstitutional plan to pass a bill without passing it.

So today’s plan, which could change at any minute,  is to vote on Sunday, first on the measures of debate, then on the amendments, (backwards), and then on the bill.

As of now, they still don’t have enough votes.
