No Mammograms at Planned Parenthood

Jill Stanek does it again……. she has found that Planned Parenthood will tell you where to go to get a mammogram, but does not provide any.

This is extremely important during the period in which Planned Parenthood is blitzing the media with claims about services lost if that organization is defunded. Visits to their sites show interesting things. Many of the clinics dispense drugs, but they do not offer mammograms off site.

Also planned parenthood refers patients who cannot pay through medicaid, insurance or cash to actual free services ELSEWHERE. This is seen on the collection of Live Action videos which have been featured at this blog during February. Scroll down.

This news makes sense since mammograms are not really a profit center to those health care providers and institutions which provide the service. The third party reimbursement is not very good. Pharmer had always thought that planned parenthood would offer the service at a few of their clinics as a draw to customers, and to justify the claims that they offer comprehensive care to women. But it seems that these claims are simply unfounded and the justification for obtaining grant funds from the Komen Foundation does not exist.

So……… Pharmer has an appointment at the squish machine tomorrow, but it won’t be at planned parenthood. Wouldn’t be caught dead going to one of their facilities for services, even if they actually did offer mammograms.

Death Panels for Cancer Patients in the UK

Cancer sufferers refused life-extending drugs despite Government pledge – Telegraph.

Despite a government promise to allocate funds towards the treatment of cancer patients, so that their physicians’ requests for chemotherapeutic agents would not be denied,   the problem still exists.

Government mismanagement featured denials of drug therapy, and extremely uneven distribution of the available funding.

So many good websites……… so little time. Look at Truth About Bills. These fine people bring you the following video of a classy union guy, discussing the SB 5 rally in Ohio.

This video might offend  if you are sensitive to the language used in R rated movies.   The star of this video knows no other kind.  (Plus, Pharmer thinks he’s a little trashed.)

If President Palin Decided Not to Enforce a Law, She Would Be Impeached

Gingrich: If Palin Took Obama Actions, There Would Be Calls for Impeachment.

First of all, get used to the idea of “President Palin” .

Then remember that the executive branch of government is supposed to enforce existing laws, not decide whether or not they’re constitutional.  That job goes to the courts if the laws are challenged.

Sooo  check out what Gingrich (quoted at Newsmax)   has to say about what would happen if a Republican did what Obama is doing.

“Imagine that Governor Palin had become president. Imagine that she had announced that Roe versus Wade in her view was unconstitutional and therefore the United States government would no longer protect anyone’s right to have an abortion because she personally had decided it should be changed. The news media would have gone crazy. The New York Times would have demanded her impeachment.”

WaPo: History Made! Whitehouse has Gaydar

44 – Obama makes history with social secretary pick.

Of uppermost importance to the Washington Post is not the political and career credentials of Jeremy Bernard.  Top most in the headlines and in the article is Bernard’s sexual preference.   Incidentally, his topmost pertinent accomplishments are probably in the area of Obama fundraising.

In times past, history was made by accomplishments, and these were highlighted, with the personal lives of our renowned heros something that had had to be dug up by those with interest in the matter.

Now the personal life is on top, with the accomplishments a bare footnote.

We see what’s most important to the left.

We also see why gay people who can see the whole picture have turned conservative.   Those with brains prefer the society with an economy that could sustain them, and in which they could keep their heads.

Down the road from Obama…… an economy and obamacare which can’t sustain gays, and a theocratic political system which has shown a propensity for chopping off the heads of homosexuals.

Obama needs to come out of the closet.  He chooses these symbolic means of supporting his interest in gay rights, rather than overtly coming out in their favor.   His fear of coming out  has led him into constitutional issues, as he has been picking and choosing which laws to enforce. The executive branch is supposed to enforce all of them.

Punishing the Prosecutor for Bringing Charges Against Planned Parenthood

Pro-Kline report concealed for months | CJOnline.com.

This is a unique article found in a regular newspaper revealing that Phil Kline, the Kansas prosecutor who brought charges against planned parenthood is being punished by accusations of ethics violations, without probable cause.

The document showing the investigation of Kline, and the  finding no probable cause for  ethics  complaints was willfully kept hidden from Kline and the public.

The Ethics Disciplinary hearing will take place anyway, because it is very important to the Kansas State government to punish those who would dare to bring criminal charges against  its benefactors from the abortion industries.

See also at Jill Stanek’s blog,  the basis for charges that would have been brought against George Tiller, for not reporting the sexual abuse of minors who came to his clinic,  had he not been so well protected by Kathleen Sebelius, who is now head of Obama’s Health and Human Services Dept.   Much more is expected to be revealed at the Ethics trial of Phill Kline.

Keep watch of the colorful Kansas corruption, and finally the case against Planned Parenthood going forward  over at Operation Rescue’s site.

Indiana Teachers Union Rally

There is no disguising this monochrome teachers’ union problem.

The Union teachers don’t like competition from Charter schools such as the Charles A. Tindley School providing options for students, and a great  push for minority students due to its location.

Scroll down to yesterday’s “FIXING THE SCHOOLS, post  and ask yourself why the Union has a problem with this??

In Indianapolis, 28.4% of the population is comprised of Blacks.   It is also noted that most  have moved outside of the IPS public school district to suburban areas.   This Teachers’ Union rally does not look normal.    Pharmer suspects that  the charter school teachers know their enemy.

Indiana State House Dems Run Away

Exodus: Dems trigger Statehouse showdown | The Indianapolis Star | indystar.com.

Faced with a similar type of choice as their counterparts in Wisconsin, to serve their Union Bosses or to serve the interests of the people,  the Indiana House Dems have turned tail and run. This has stopped legislative functions in the Indiana House which requires a quorum of two thirds to function.

There is an obvious problem with collective bargaining in public service functions, which has come to include  coercing union membership, and threatening those who oppose their agenda with violence.

Those who claim to serve the public, and take tax payer dollars for doing so, have an obligation to remain on the job.  Public service unions have repeatedly violated our trust, most egregiously in the area of education, and most famously  walking off the job and failing to provide essential services, as in New York, during the ice storm,  and using fraudulent physician signed sick excuses, and co-opting their students for protests as in Wisconsin.

Conscience Tug-of-War in Washington | Daily News | NCRegister.com

Conscience Tug-of-War in Washington | Daily News | NCRegister.com.

National Catholic Register covers the back and forth seesawing of the Washington Board of Pharmacy on the issue of conscience and pharmacy practice.

Eventually most of the board members gave in to their masters, returning to a decision which had already been met with a court challenge.   This judicial process will have to go forward.

Riding underneath the seesawing was the possibility that pro-abort  Governor Gregoire would be picked to join the Obama administration and occupy Elena Kagan’s  former position as solicitor general.   Later it is said that Gregoire’s enthusiasm for that position cooled, but we do not know if it means she did not make the cut, or whether she actually asked to be taken off the list.

The Board of pharmacy serves at the behest of the governor.

Dr. Bernard Nathanson R.I.P.

Dr Bernard Nathanson, the last surviving founder of NARAL, who later renounced abortion practice, has passed on at age 84.   The irrefutable evidence of ultrasonography, made available in the 1970s,   helped Dr. Nathanson to find his right mind,  causing him to spend the last half of his life as a pro-lifer.  He produced the Silent Scream, and Eclipse of Reason videos to convince  others of what he had come to understand from a  physical and medical standpoint. Among his writings on the topic are the books, ” Aborting America” and “The Abortion Papers”.

During this pro-life  portion of his life,  Nathanson, once an atheist, began to address the spiritual matters as well.   After a good bit of searching, he  was assimilated into Catholicism in 1996. (…. resistance is Futile.)

‘WRTolkas’, over at CNS news, connected John Newton and Bernard Nathanson, and that makes really good sense.  Listen up.

Prayers for Dr. Nathanson and his loved ones.

Weekend Business: Repeal of Bush’s Conscience Protections for Health Care Professionals

It’s a whisper in the news……. You’d have to dig hard to find it.  Obama gutted the  regulations Bush had put into place to protect conscientiously objecting health care professionals from discrimination.

There were essentially no new provisions in Bush’s executive order, except to cause institutions to worry about receiving federal funds if they discriminated against health care professionals who refuse to kill humans in their practice.

Obama has returned the situation to its previous state:  toothless conscience legislation, nearly unenforceable because  unemployed health care professionals usually lack  funds to bring civil redress when incidents of discrimination occur. Also,  what remains of “protection” will only apply to what is obviously recognized as abortion to a layman,   and sterilization.   Objection to chemical abortions at the early stages of human development, and use of various biotech medical devices, unethically derived drugs, vaccines, transplants, implants  (from killed humans) will not be covered.

Actually the situation is worse than it was previously, as the department of Health and Human Services has utterly no interest in hearing or cataloging incidents of discrimination.   The head of this department, Kathleen Sebelius   had no interest in enforcing medical standards applicable to abortion clinics in her home state of Kansas.

It is fortunate  that the new Congress has shown some interest in this situation, otherwise it might be missed entirely by the public.

The actual  repeal is gibberish,  unless one has intimate  familiarity with the underlying laws and regulations.  Heritage Foundation has pretty much put it in English.

The Sebelius HHS will effectively leave conscientiously objecting health care professionals without protections,  and  all should be prepared to find new jobs or careers should a conflict between the employers mandates and personal conscience ever arise.

As  previously, the protection of conscience for health care professionals will largely lie in the power of the internet, to expose  institutions  which  discriminate against health care professionals who refuse to kill, and reduce private business, and  the sources of charitable   donations, funds and grants.
