Leftists Shedding Tears over Pope’s Latest Apostolic Letter
Pope Francis has just put out Amoris Laetitia, an apostolic letter addressing marriage and family life. The title means “The Joy of Love”, something different than “The Joy of Sex”.
Tears are falling into beers, lattes, girlie drinks, and fine vintages, as leftists quietly suffer. The Pope was never going to sign onto the political fad of same sex marriage, or any other civilization shrinking arrangements.
Analysts inform us that the Pope’s letter is full of a little more down to earth advice, and a little less academic theory. This means that Pharmer might actually pick it up and read the whole thing, and see if there is specific advice from Pope Francis on steering the marriage through “mentalpause” (which is menopause plus manopause). It could be a fun read.
As for media coverage of the momentous event of the Catholic Church holding fast to its teaching, and refusing to change……. you’ll be able to hear a pin drop, amid the falling teardrops.
Oh!!!! Please call those leftie social engineers a WAAAAAAAAAAAMBULANCE!

Celestial Discharge: Mother Angelica
Born with the name Rita Rizzo, the famous nun who ran the Catholic broadcasting powerhouse, EWTN, joined the Poor Clares at age 21, becoming Sister Mary Angelica of the Annunciation. She became one of the founders of a new monastery in Canton Ohio, and eventually won permission to build a new Monastery in the South in Feb of 1961. At that time, the Catholics in her target city of Irondale, Alabama, comprised just 2 percent of the population. With initial plans to broadcast some programs on a local station, Mother Angelica, found some other television content of that station to be severely incompatible with her own. Her objections fell on deaf ears, so she decided to build her own television station in the garage of her facility. This was the beginning of EWTN, Eternal Word Television Network, which has brought traditional Catholicism into homes it might never have reached by conventional means. This network has served since 1981, as a major support of the teachings of the Catholic Church during a period in which it is being opposed from all sides. The extensive influence Mother Angelica’s ministry has been recognized world wide by both friends and foes.
In 2000, Mother Angelica stepped down from leading EWTN, but remained actively broadcasting, even after a stroke in Sept. of 2001. During this brief period, some famous imagery of the “Pirate Nun” became available as she continued to convert people and transform lives. She later suffered a more severe stroke and underwent a thrombectomy which relieved the paralysis in her face, but led to more paralysis on the opposite side of her body, as well as damage to her speech centers. From that time forward, she stopped hosting television programs, although she taped the 2003 “Recitation of the Holy Rosary with Mother Angelica and the Nuns”.
At EWTN, it is felt that their ministry has been supported by the prayers of Mother Angelica during the many years of being effectively cloistered in the aftermath of her strokes. Her prayer became strong as her speech became weak. Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, the Creator granted Mother Angelica her Celestial Discharge. Prayers for her and her Sisters and the continuance of their ministry.

Environmental Impact of Family Breakdown
The Greenies have been orgasmic over the purported references to man made climate change in the Pope’s latest encyclical. Without a direct and reliable translation in hand, one can’t be sure what is actually in that document, despite media “interpretations”.
One thing that is almost never mentioned, (and we’re not hearing it this week) is the destructive impact of Family Breakdown on the environment.
When each family splits and
occupies two dwellings instead of one,
runs two furnaces,
runs two air conditioners,
runs two hot water heaters,
buys double sets of household furniture and equipment,
shuttles the kids between parents on planes, trains, buses and automobiles,
generates double paperwork for legal matters and records
“Gaia” (mother earth) is crying out from the double assault.
When moms decide that their babies don’t need a real daddy, and the government will take his place,
the paperwork is monumental, and there is an exponential increase in tree death. Social service workers charge out in their Priuses to rescue the “at risk” children. This is not sustainable.
The Pope and other religious leaders are invited to directly address this topmost assault on the environment. There’s no need to subscribe to the false religion of man made climate change to espouse practical environmental stewardship.

Something More Important than Where You Put It
In the present day it seems that thinking about where to put it is more than a full time job. For some it seems to occupy every waking hour, and has become the extreme of sexual fetishism.
Sing over Me is a new film about the life journey of Dennis Jernigan, who spent a number of years in the homosexual lifestyle. In his mid twenties, Mr. Jernigan, a renowned Christian singer and lyricist, decided that something else was more important. His decision, to have God tell him who he is, will likely crunch many leftie undies into a wad. The songwriter tells his story in the indie film released this week on Vimeo and to interested theaters.
With the likes of TeenWire and a rabidly obsessed media beating sex-fetishism into the minds of kids, the constant refrain repeated by the brainwashed is that having sex is inevitable, and not a matter of choice. For many it seems as automatic as breathing, eating and taking a dump.
Films such as Sing over Me and Desire of the Everlasting Hills tell stories of profound changes in people who came to the conclusion that something else is more important than sex.
One spoiler from the Desire film: who gets some credit for reeling in the wildest one of the bunch:

Protest of Gay Celebration at St. Patrick’s Day Parade Removed From DC Archdiocese Website
DC Priest Punished for Calling for End to Gay St. Patrick’s Parade in New York City.
Click the above link to see what Monsignor Charles Pope wrote about Cardinal Timothy Dolan’s decision to rubber stamp gay pride displays during the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade next year. Breitbart published it for all the world to see, because this protestation was expunged from the Archdiocese of Washington DC website.
Apparently the U.S. Catholic Bishops are revealing an updated stance on gay sex practices and gay marriage, and approving the promotion of such things publicly, in front of children, at Catholic events. This is a far cry from simply allowing any person to march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
If the Catholic Bishops wonder why church-going is down and there is a decrease in religious vocations, it could be that no one respects “leaders” who would do anything in order to be liked.

How We Know the Catholic Church is Not Money Hungry
While this is not the only example of churches promoting illegal immigration, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is funding and helping illegal immigrants to travel East from Fontana, California.
The United States portion of the Church is said to comprise 60 percent of the financial wealth of the Catholic Church worldwide. We know that the Catholic Church is not money hungry because it’s been trying to cut down this financial resource for decades, by promoting uncontrolled immigration, and through support of big government and socialist policies.
Pharmer supports increased and simplified LEGAL immigration: We could swap out our lefties for immigrants who want to become Americans, and who like to work for a living. We could rebuild American culture that way. :-)

Minimum Wage Increase Associated with increased Unemployment
Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007 Signed on 5/25//2007
from $5.15 per hr unemployment = 4.4%
to $5.85 per hour on 7/24/07 unemployment = 4.7%
to $6.55 per hour on 7/24/08 unemployment = 6.1%
to $7.25 per hour on 7/24/09 unemployment = 9.5%
As of 2008, 13 states already had minimum wage rates at or above $7.25 per hour.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops have not noticed this correlation of minimum wage increases with increased unemployment, as they claim that increasing the minimum wage does not affect employment rate. They have persistently lobbied for minimum wage increases, as well as amnesty for illegal immigrants. Their argument in this area actually shifts the question to the state of the economy and so-called job creation, without mentioning job losses and outsourcing.
