The influential Leadership Conference of Women Religious, of the U.S. has gotten a severe reprimand, from the Vatican Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, for wandering astray from the flock.
Among it’s offenses are its foray to the radical feminist side, its teaching on homosexual behavior, and its public statements at odds with Church teaching on various issues of faith and morals. One major bone of contention is their profession of love and support for Obamacare.
Sr. Simone Campbell, Executive Director says she’s “stunned”. Likely she’s also shocked and dismayed because the boys are taking charge, now. The Women Religious will be further investigated and then fumigated by Archbishop J. Peter Sartain, Bishop Thomas J Paprocki and Bishop Leonard Blair.

Obama Extends HHS Mandate, Sneaks News Out on Friday
Ed Morrissey at Hot Air is pointing out that insurance companies have not jumped for joy at the new birth control, abortion, and sterilization mandate that Obama is forcing on them. They know that it’s not really revenue neutral, especially up front, when they have to fork over one hundred percent of the costs. The supposed savings by preventing pregnancies are theoretical. Consider also that the pill induces conditions in women which require more medical attention: metabolic disorders and thromboembolic events, among others. No insurance companies have indicated an expectation of savings from Obama’s mandate.
The Hill brings up the point that no insurance coverage is free. The final cost is always coming from the total benefits package offered to the employee. If health insurance costs more, then less salary is offered.
There is also the issue of self insured employers. Many Catholic institutions are self insured, and one of the reasons for this originally could have been to avoid taking part in larger insurance pools that covered services which are not in line with Catholic teaching. Another reason would be cost containment.
THe HHS is is overturning doctrines of more than one Religion with this mandate. It might take a bit of time for the full response to come in.
Insurance companies are wondering what new unfunded mandates Obama will be imposing on them.
Tina Korbe has announced the St Patrick’s day/ March madness document dump from the White House. There is the advance notice of proposed rule making on preventative services policy quietly slipped out on Friday night when no one is looking. You should have heard about this in normal news venues so that you could have an opportunity to comment on the HHS rules expanding the mandate for coverage of birth control, abortion, and sterilizations.
Obama and Sebelius really don’t want to consider your opinions, and this is the reason for dribbling out the news when everyone is ready for a party weekend.
Yes the expanded mandate will cover Sandra Fluke’s apparent wild sex life at the university. Student insurance will be required, that offers free birth control, abortions and sterilizations. The Universities will of course have to cover the insurance and pass the costs to the students as part of tuition and fees.

Pamela Geller catches NYT Anti Catholic Bias
The atheist group, Freedom from Religion, was able to run an Anti-Catholic ad in the New York Times last week. Pamela Geller designed an analogous anti-Islam ad based on the first ad, and predictably the NYT has refused to run it. Their reason is that the Muslims do not have an edict to turn the other cheek like Christians do. What they tell us is that they’re worried about security of the U.S. troops. You can see the two ads side by side HERE
Geller states that her ad was designed specifically to reveal bias, and points out that the New York Times was not worried about the security of U.S. forces overseas when it published extensively on Abu Ghraib.
Pharmer suspects that the New York Times editors are protecting themselves, not the troops. They rely heavily on Christians to turn the other cheek. What might appear to be a their bias towards Islam is really physical cowardice, rather than a true ideological preference for that religion. Both Catholicism and Islam are far too restrictive for their lifestyles.

War on Women
The Democrat party has conducted a war on women, and is projecting the blame on others similarly as in their war on minorities and their war on religion.
1) American lefties are supporting sex selection abortions, since the culling of girl babies from families generates abortion revenue. The decision of a woman to kill her daughters and spare her sons is not to be infringed.
2) The lefties regulate the population of their minority “voter stock” by abortion clinic placement and funding practices which has resulted in Blacks being aborted at almost 5 times, and Hispanics at 3 times the rate of Whites.
3) The Democrats have not a word to say about the acquittal of the virginity testing docs in Egypt. There is total silence on this obvious violation of human rights. Testing virginity is a gratuitous vaginal entry which serves no medical purpose. As our Democrats look the other way, and Obama sends our tax money to the interim government there, the women who were violated by military virginity testers, including Dr. Ahmed Adel, have been thrown under the bus. The judicial decision amounts to a denial that the incidents ever occurred.
Using the already routine pre-abortion ultrasounds to inform women about her developing, unborn baby, before she decides to abort, is the leftist idea of rape. Since those ultrasounds area already a part of the procedure, it’s just the Virginia state requirement of offering information to the woman which has raised their cry of “rape”.
The Georgetown Birth Control Gurl, Sandra Fluke, has been compared to activists in Myanmar who have payed the price for their pro-democracy speech with long prison terms. At the women of the world summit, Hillary extolled women “who are assuming the risks that come with sticking your neck out, whether you are a democracy activist in Burma or a Georgetown law student in the United States.”
The ridiculousness of comparing Fluke, who is whining for free birth control, to women such as Zin Mar Aung, who spent years in jail just for writing a letter, is obvious to any sane person.
In the sclerotic brain of Hillary, our desire not to have to pay for the birth control of college students at a $45,000 per year school, amounts to controlling women.
The leftist war on women, which they have projected onto Republicans, has allowed or fostered the torture and killing of females, while profiting from the mechanisms which are used for increasing their sexual availability.

Romney appears capable of a similar kind of bait and switch that Obama has done to the Catholic Bishops with his birth control/ abortion / sterilization mandate.
Here’s an 12/2005 article from the Pilot Catholic News about Romney’s announcement that his morning after pill mandate applied to Catholic hospitals. Romney had previously stated that religious hospitals would be exempted by a 1975 law that provided protection for conscientious refusal to distribute birth control or participate in abortion. He later decided that there was no such shield, and demanded that the Catholic hospitals comply with the birth control mandate.

The Catholic Health Association hospitals under her purview also stand to recieve plenty of cash under Obamacare if it is left to continue in its destructive path.

Senator Harry Reid has changed his mind, and decided to allow Sen. Roy Blunt’s Bill to repeal Obama’s birth control/abortive drugs/sterilization mandate to pass to the full Senate for a vote.
This new decision comes after Obamanator’s unilateral “compromise” to shift the administration of the mandate to insurance companies. This includes all the religious entities which are self insured. The compromise still steps on freedom of religion, still has religious organizations paying for things they consider sinful, and still forces people to sell and to buy things which they don’t want.
Here are two possible motivations: One is that Reid’s constituency includes a lot of self insured religious organizations, and they climbed down his throat.
Another is that Obama needs to bail on this very unconstitutional mandate, and Reid has been ordered to allow Congress to rescind it.
You might want to inform your Senators and Congressmen that you expect them to kill the abortive mandate of Obama/Sebelius. It is likely that most of the Dems realize that all their religious voter support will evaporate if they don’t vote for Sen. Blunt’s legislation.

They’re afraid to lose the money. The church related institutions have become too dependent upon government income. If the bishops weren’t afraid, they would be asking why any health insurers cover birth control, Killing, and sterilizations. These things are lifestyle choices, and the middle one is morally wrong according to all the major religions, particularly when done for recreational purposes. The Bishops are so conciliatory that they express no difficulty with other people, outside specific religious affiliation, being forced to involve themselves in birth control, abortion and sterilizations.
Birth control hormones used for that purpose are recreational drugs. They are taken in order to support a purely recreational activity. Birth control and sterilization also alter a healthy system and make it function abnormally. Therefore they are not really ‘health care’. Nor is killing a part of health care.
It’s as though the bishops aren’t fully invested in removing abortion from Obamacare. Pharmer is still waiting for any word of this issue to be mentioned at her parish.
Mark Steyn subbing for Rush on hangover Monday (2/6/12), appeared to have been taken in by this Onion-like presentation of “news”, at a socially leftist forum. In a sort of parody, a story about Imams from Cincinnati, Phoenix, Green Bay, and Lubbock protesting the Obama birth control Mandate, was attributed to the National Journal. (Following the entry were numerous comments from people who don’t know how the various birth control drugs operate, and do not know why many religions oppose them. )
Mark Steyn realizes that the Muslims are guarding conscience rights against abortion in Europe, and so it was understandable that he’d expect the U.S. Muslims to have something to say about the Obama mandate. What they have to say so far, Obama’s news organs do not want us to know.
Muslims don’t absolutely forbid all abortion and birth control, but do not approve of either being used for recreational reasons. Therefore adherent Muslims would not be happy to distribute the drugs for these purposes in the vast majority of situations.
Like Europe, the U.S. may eventually be relying on the religion, which is not known for turning the other cheek, to deal with Obama’s unconstitutional attack on religious freedom. Collectively the Catholic Bishops are not likely to have enough resolve to get this job done.

Obama is in hotter water than he thought he’d be in, trying to force religiously affiliated organizations to pay for birth control, abortive drugs and sterilizations.
He’s got a compromise plan to offer, which is poorly described in the media, but supposedly is another way to get birth control from their insurance without the direct involvement of the employers.
The plan sounds like gibberish, and is not expected to satisfy those who object to being forced to pay for these services for their employees. The most useful information is that the White House is worried that it has lost considerable voter support because of the birth control edict.

Pharmer suspects house can do it, but the Senate had 26 freaks who directly support Obama’s mandate for religious institutions to cover birth control, abortive drugs and sterilizations in their health insurance plans.
The government plan is to have Christians pay the STATIST DHIMMI TAX in the form of fines, as a result of being forced to drop health care coverage for their employees. Interestingly, adherent Muslims may be subjected to this same situation with respect to the state, but (if we compare their response in Europe) are much LESS likely to tolerate dhimmitude to the state.
The top linked article mentions that Massachusetts has already been forcing religiously affiliated hospitals to give out the morning after pill to rape victims, from the time that Romney was governor. Romney says he vetoed the bill, though he supported the morning after pill for rape victims.

At the above link a list is being compiled of Bishops statements protesting Obama’s health care mandate for religiously affiliated employers to cover birth control, abortifacients and sterilizations.
The bolded links on the list lead to letters which were to be read at every parish in the diocese. As of Sunday there are 153 out of 183 diocesan leaders who have made statements.
The Assembly of Orthodox Bishops has also made a statement representing all 53 of their U.S. Bishops, which protests the action of Obama and his HHS.
Expect more statements to be coming out as some of the Bishops get a reminder of their job function from the Vatican.
As a result of prior decisions to go along with the Government and accept grants from them, the Bishops now find themselves, and the society in which they live, in dire straits. Says Francis Cardinal George, Archbishop of Chicago: “I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison and his successor will die a martyr in the public square.”

Senator Marco Rubio (R) FL has introduced a bill to reverse the Obamacare mandate that religious health care and other institutions be forced to cover contraception, abortifacient drugs and sterilizations. Above is a link to the text.
This bill unfortunately does not address the health care professionals themselves, who will have to leave their jobs in order to avoid participating in similar obamacare mandates.

Catholic Bishops have put out letters opposing Obama’s latest assault on first amendment rights, and these were to be read to congregations this past Sunday. Obama has given Catholic institutions a year to begin paying for birth control, abortion producing drugs and sterilizations in their health care plans.
The bishops state that they will not comply, and are urging the congregants to write to their representatives in government to oppose Obama’s violation of civil rights, and religious freedom.
If you attended Catholic Church this past Sunday and did not hear this letter, it might be good to ask your pastor or your bishop why.

Addressing John Gehring’s Attack on Conservative Catholics
Pharmer spotted the pretentious John Gehring telling us that it is a violation of Catholic teaching to support Rick Santorum.
Our CINO (Catholic in name only) lefties continually abuse the seamless garment type of philosophy in order to justify their own political views.
Basically they have supported a pro-abortion, pro-infanticide president and regime, in order to obtain some benefits from his promises to redistribute the wealth. One could compare such people to prostitutes, but that would be an unwarranted insult to the sex workers. CINOs instead forfeit the lives of their fellow humans in order to obtain largess from the government for their own personal interests and gain.
CINOs have pushed for a program of forced redistribution of wealth, which discourages personal charity and relegates the responsibility to a government which has become corrupt.
The greenie CINOs ignore the government’s forcing us to bring toxic levels of mercury into our homes (easily broken compact fluorescent bulbs) in the name of energy efficiency. They also ignore the extreme toxicity of lithium battery production for their greenie cars. They ignore the deaths of millions (from malaria and starvation) caused by irrational risk assessments by environmentalists, who ban pesticides. Those are their late term, human sacrifices to Mother Earth.
The CINOs look to unions to facilitate income redistribution while at the same time supporting tax and regulatory policies which have driven job creating corporations overseas. The Union workers and public sector workers are making much greater salaries on average than those from whom CINOs wish to extract taxes for bailing out the union pension plans. Meanwhile the dearth of U.S. jobs has sent immigrants with legitimate work permits back to Mexico, and American Blacks are suffering increasingly worse unemployment than Whites.
So far CINOs have not seen much return on their personal investment in wealth redistribution. Pharmer is comforted by the fact that very few of these people will obtain even scraps from the tables of the corrupt politicians to whom they cling.
Lastly, if the Catholic Church really were actually teaching the garbage that John Gehring is expelling, This lifelong Catholic would have already found another religion.

This story is worth a look. La Reina High School and its Catholic diocese are too leftist to allow students at the school form a club which is a branch of Young America’s foundation.
One story from the high school is that the club would have to have a balancing leftie club before it could have a charter.
The archdiocese of Los Angeles says that there should be no political activism on campus.
La Reina had an environmentalist group and a pro life group at the school however.
All sorts of excuses were made to prevent this club from forming, including a loss of tax status, (though YAF shares the same tax status as the school).
Leftism has invaded many Catholic schools….. and this is just another example.

Steve Ertelt grabbed this bit of video of Pelosi commenting on the latest attempt to defund abortion and protect conscientious health care professionals, being addressed in Congress.
Nancy is frothing at the mouth with more intensity than usual, fueled possibly by the cognitive dissonance in her mind. Nancy professes some connection with Catholicism, which expressly states that the killings of humans by abortion are wrong. It is up close and personal for Pelosi, who wants these procedures available for her daughters. Living inside the head of this woman would not be pleasant.
From Nancy’s mind to yours, (4/20/07) decrying the upreme Court decision to uphold the ban of partial birth abortion:
“This isn’t really an abortion issue. That is what really saddens me about what the justices said.
“This is about a procedure that any parent would want her daughter to have access to if she needed it. And to frame it as an abortion issue is doing a disservice to medicine and to our young women and our country. So I hope we can get the focus back on the fact that this Supreme Court is deciding what medical procedures are necessary for child-bearing women.”
Pharmer invites Pelosi to present a single medical case in which any procedure of carving up a human in utero is necessary specifically to save the life of a mother.
Don’t hold your breath for a response.

The seamless garment concept used by Archbishop Joseph Bernardin has since been abused to make it OK for Catholics to vote for pro-abortion politicians as long as they offered enough governmental goodies for the poor, etc.
After decades of “war on poverty”, we have more poor than ever, and destruction of the family unit, particularly in the segments of the population most “helped” by the government.

Catholic school hosts terror-tied group.
Mother of Mercy High school has upset their student’s parents by hosting a Ramadan event with CAIR, an interfaith Iftar dinner. Here’s their link…… which may not be up for long.
Pharmer (who is generally respectful of religious sensibilities) notes that the parents were asked to bring a dish to share, but not to make sure that it’s Halal, (e.g. PORK free).
The parents’ difficulty stems from the ties which CAIR has with terrorist groups, the recognition of this by the FBI and the Justice department, revocation of non-profit status by the IRS for failing to disclose its funding sources, etcetera. This dinner is not the first collaboration of Mother of Mercy High School with CAIR.
The school secretary was unaware of CAIR’s “extracurricular activities”, and referred media to the school principal, Diane Laake, who did not return phone calls.
It’s not a feel good time for Mother of Mercy HS, which is on the West side of Cincinnati, which is Steve Chabot country.
Pharmer has had related difficulties with her kids’ Catholic elementary school, sending kids to work with groups which promote things antithetical to the religion of the students.
(It’s safer for the kids to be picking berries on a Washington farm.) ;-)
There are NO difficulties here with the school hosting an interfaith event. Surely a Muslim group which is not overtly tied to the funding of terrorism could have been found to collaborate on such a thing.
Pharmer congratulates the students parents who have brought public attention to this matter.

Brooklyn Catholic school rejects donation from politician who voted for gay ‘marriage’ | LifeSiteNews.com
New York Democrat assemblyman Joe Lentol normally gives a small donation to a Catholic school around graduation time. This year, Queen of Rosary Catholic Academy returned his donation.
This is in compliance with a request from Bishop Nicholas Dimarzio for the Catholic institutions to refuse any ‘honors, donations or distinctions bestowed’ on them by the politicians who passed New York’s gay marriage law.
Pharmer wishes that more of the U.S. Catholic bishops had felt so strongly about the abortion, embryonic stem cell, and physician assisted suicide issues.

Perhaps this is the main reason that Fr. John Corapi resigned from priestly functions…… so he could bring a lawsuit against his accuser.
With the shortage of vocations, the Catholic church in the U.S. really can’t afford to remove every priest who is accused, whether the accusations are true or not.
Many priests arrange never to be alone in a room with another person in order to prevent false accusations.
The Church offers not much possibility for an accused priest, or lay ministers and teachers to defend themselves against false charges.
Having a prominent priest fight back might be a very necessary thing, although filing suit certainly isn’t “turning the other cheek”.
Too much acquiescence to the accusers, many of whom are not truthful, could eventually remove the ability of the Church to function in its educational and charitable ministries.

Bishop revokes Phoenix hospital’s ‘Catholic’ status.
He actually did it. Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted stripped St. Joseph’s Medical Center, in Phoenix of its Catholic affiliation. This came after a scandal in 2009, concerning a widely publicized abortion which took place there. That issue had already been addressed, but St. Joseph’s affiliation with the Mercy Care Plan , which provides care through the Arizona state medicaid program, required it to offer contraceptive counseling and other services antithetical to Catholic teachings. This contractual arrangement is said to be the tipping point to cause the dissolution of the Catholic affiliation
Mass may no longer be said at the hospital, and the Blessed Sacrament is to be removed from the Chapel.
Watch the changes which occur at St. Joseph’s in the aftermath of this “divorce” from Church affiliation. Will the hospital attempt to re-affiliate, or will it rely upon a closer relationship with the government for survival. Certainly the loss of Catholic affiliation will affect private donations to the Medical Center.

Why The Catholic Bishops Don’t Get Donations From Pharmer
Pharmer continues the boycott of the US Catholic Bishops fundraisers, and here’s just one more reason.
This appeared in Pharmer’s Church bulletin during October, Pro-life month:
“The Indiana Bishops have asked that parishes and affiliated/associated organizations NOT distribute or allow distribution of Indiana Right To Life’s or county affiliate organization’s election materials.
The Indiana Right to Life has adopted a clearly partisan policy that effectively endorses ONLY Republican candidates for elected offices.
When the Indiana Right to Life Policy and materials are again non-partisan, with a focus on education and advocacy, parishes may be able to cooperate with the local and state organization during the election campaign once more.”
The use of the word “republican” in this announcement violates it’s own supposed non-partisan message. Thus it is internally inconsistent with the supposed spirit the Indiana Bishops are pretending to convey.
The reality is that the bulk of U.S. Bishops (outside of a persistently pro life minority) are paying lip service to pro-life ideals only due to the prodding of the pro-life Pope Benedict.
The Wallbuilders have established three years running that the churches need not fear the IRS removal of tax exempt status. Those preachers doing political advocacy from the pulpits, and sending the tapes to the IRS have yet to be taken to task. The IRS knows that it will lose this case in court, so it keeps silent, allowing the IRS intimidation of most pastors to proceed.
The Catholic Church in the United States ought not to specifically ally itself with any party, but it really needs to get out of bed with the pro-abortion, pro-infanticide, pro-euthanasia, pro-gay marriage, Pro-WAR, pro-slavery, anti-civil rights, Democrat party of the KKK. Those of us who know the history of the U.S. Wars and the above mentioned misbehaviors know which party has initiated and/or supported them in our government.
Any politically conscious person knows that the Republican party is not without stain, and this is why there is a TEA-party for one example. Pharmer has been boycotting the RNC appeals for many years, and assisting individual candidates in other ways.
Pro-life politicians need to find another party, because the Democrat party at the national level has been impervious to transformation on these issues, and defunds its pro-life candidates at the national level. Democrats have moved further left with their chosen president’s inclusion of actual infanticide as an extension of abortion.

The Indiana Right to Life Voter Guide has no endorsements included on the document. It has survey questions for federal and state candidates, followed by lists of the candidates (without party affiliation) and their replies to the questions.
Indiana Right to Life has issued a statement that it will back no Democrats this year, due in part to the cooperation of Indiana Democrats with the pro abortion Obamacare. The Democrat state officials have not allowed pro-life legislation to proceed in the Indiana legislature as well. The Indiana Bishops are reminded of Independents, Teapartiers, and Libertarians which are active within the state, and which are not excluded from consideration. It is revealed that the “only republicans” statement appearing in the church bulletin really means “no democrats”.

Teaching Catholic Beliefs is Considered Hate Speech in Illinois – Same as Canada
FOXNews.com – University of Illinois Instructor Fired Over Catholic Beliefs.
Professor Ken Howell was fired from the University of Illinois at Urbana for teaching Catholic beliefs in his class on Catholicism. Specifically he explained the Catholic teaching on homosexual sex, in an email, based on the religious interpretation of natural law. This caused him to lose his teaching position, and also to lose his job as head of the Newman Center at the University.
The Newman Center job is said to be funded by the Diocese, so explanations concerning that dismissal will be interesting. The current claim, attributed to Chancellor Patricia Gibson, is that the Diocese fired Howell because he can no longer teach at the university.
The Alliance Defense fund, a Christian legal group which has also given aid to conscientiously objecting health care professionals, is considering assistance to Dr. Howell.
At first blush, we see a general group of Christians offering to defend a Catholic professor who has been abandoned by his own Diocese.
This is a religious and academic freedom case worth watching.

The Dems are Mad at the Pope and Needing Diversion
This tactic is analogous to the leftist attacks on tea partiers for violence which they never committed. The vast preponderance of violence has been on side of the liberals. The teapartiers have staged the most orderly protests in human history.
Yep……. the Liberals revived this sex scandal business, because the Pope pushed the U.S. Bishops to oppose Obamacare. Revenge and distraction, it is.
So how is this going to work out? The Pope is being castigated because liberals wormed their way into the priesthood, and did what they usually do, have sex with the underaged. The Church is not the Police, and that is not its job, but Benedict XVI, who has been cleaning house, will be attacked to the greatest extent. Liberals are now being pushed out of positions of authority within the church by the pope, for their participation in the sex abuse, and this is the backlash.
Meanwhile the Dems are clearly aiming to use our tax dollars to buy viagra for sex offenders, instead of punishing them. Too many of their relatives and friends would have been angered if they had accepted yesterday’s amendment to he Senate health care bill to stop that practice.
The media will keep telling the public that the Church clergy should break their oaths associated with the sacrament of reconciliation.
The psychiatrists will not be asked to break the trust of their patients. That matter will be moot, as the government will possess your medical data.
Taking the Leftist agenda most of the way down its road– there will be systemic rooting out of the Christians, and any other religions with sex restrictions. The government will have all your medical data, but this will not matter for sex perverts. Data on men’s purchases of over the counter abortifacients will be of no significance. Planned parenthood failing to report obvious abuse of children is not considered a problem to leftists. Aborting the resultant babies,and hiding the rapes are considered a good service. At the “utopian” endpoint there would be no such thing as a sex crime, with all women and children being subject to this abuse. Worse than the Taliban, the leftists are.

No Hair Splitting Here
Thanks to Christian Hartsock for dredging up a commentary on James O’Keefe from the underbelly of Busted Halo, and shining a light on it.
Among many lay theologians is the need for the intellectual exercise of moral hair splitting, which diverts attention away from huge chunks of bad judgment expressed in their own lives. At the Busted Halo, for example, one may find support for Obamacare, with little thought of the carnage of elderly and disabled people designed within this plan.
About half of US “Catholics” are congenital democrats, and through the practice of idolatry, which is NOT condoned by the religion, remain obligate democrats. This statement will hurt some feelings, but many people, who claim to adhere to the same religion as this Pharmer, are helping to destroy civilization through their erroneous political practices.
There exists ancestor worship gone wild (again not condoned by the Church) with some “Catholics” stating a feeling of disloyalty to their parents if they would vote other than democrat , even though the Washington wing of that party has morphed into a freakshow.
The proper practice of Catholicism would preclude rigid party loyalty, and instead demand that we vote for the candidates who most closely support a respect for the human rights bestowed by the Creator (which does not include a free ride using STOLEN resources). Sometimes there might be a call not to vote, in a particular circumstance, if there are no good alternatives.
The virtue of Charity is attenuated once the responsibility is allocated to the government.
The most egregious error of the US Catholic Conference of Bishops has been to allocate to the Corrupt government, the responsibility to determine who lives and who dies, by ignoring the abortion problem for decades, and by supporting socialized medicine. Only under outside pressure has come a too little, too late effort by the USCCB to address the abortion problem in Obamacare, while ignoring the reality of the “death panels” inherent in the plan.
The Pharmer is careful not to diss those who feel called to do the “dirty work” which protects us while we cogitate on religious idealisms, and dream of a world without killing, stealing and rape. One may find long term support and admiration for the non-violent work of James OKeefe Down on the Pharm, starting with his project to expose the racist based genocide by planned parenthood.

Harry Knox and the Condom Religion
Harry Knox, a notoriously contentious member of the Obama Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, has gotten his publicity due to incorrect statements about the usefulness of condoms in reducing HIV, and inaccurate plus disrespectful statements regarding the Pope’s understanding of the science.
Like the acolytes of the climate change religion, Knox will be sticking to his guns regarding his ignorance of what has been observed with respect to condom use and increasing incidence of HIV on a population level.

You Will Be Assimilated………
For year’s we’ve been hearing about conservative Anglicans being very burned out on the general move towards ignoring Biblical basics in their Anglican Communion of 77 million adherents.
Large blocs of Anglicans have considered entry into the Catholic Church, and Pope Benedict is clearing the way for this. Involved are such details as married clergy. Seems that married priests will continue to be allowed to convert and remain in their function, but married Bishops would have to step down a notch for admission.
Two large groups considering “assimilation” are the Tradidional Anglican Communion in Australia, (which had petitioned for consideration in 2007, and the Anglo-Catholic wing of the U.S. Episcopal Church, which might be swayed by the arrangement offered by the Vatican.
