New York’s Union Death Panel

We’ve been hearing that New York city spent a much longer period locked in by snow than was necessary, due to an intentional work slowdown by protesting union workers.

A group of supervisors with the Sanitation Dept. is under media fire for partying in a van, drinking beer, next to stranded snow plows and vehicles.  Reporting that they had run out of fuel, the guys decided to kick back and enjoy each other’s good company.  That the supervisors felt they could do this reveals something about the chain of command in New York City.

Highlighted in the news were the deaths of an elderly person and a newborn baby who could not receive medical attention during the paralysis of transportation.

The New York  union death panels deserve credit for hundreds of uncounted deaths, and perhaps the inaction of city government was purposeful.

New York is a bankrupt city,  heavy with dependents needing medical and other tax payer assistance.   The fastest way to be rid of these people is to allow natural disasters to take their toll.  Exacerbating problems by inactivity and unresponsiveness of course increases the number of “natural” deaths.

Your friendly Pharmer knows exactly what happens in a hospital during a snow storm.  The rate of new admissions, particularly through the emergency room drops off precipitously.  This  extends for as long as transportation remains  blocked by the weather.

Do people stop having traumatic  injuries, chest pains, diabetic keto-acidosis, psychotic episodes, suicide attempts, births, strokes, and other emergent medical conditions just because it snows?   Of course not!   They simply go unattended and many of them die.

The news will not tell you about Bloomberg’s New York, Union, Death Panel,  which has likely stripped hundreds, or even thousands  of dependent human individuals from the welfare, medicaid, and social security rolls, by delaying cleanup.

That’s one way to deal with a financial crisis.  Expect more of it, especially if health care becomes both government controlled and unionized.

Obama’s Death Panels Begin Jan 1 by Means of Regulation, Not Law

Obama enacts end-of-life plan that drew ‘death panel’ claims | Before It’s News.

Doctors will be paid to advise on end of life care options  (encourage patients to forgo treatment in favor of palliative care).

Yep, it’s the death panels through Obama’s familiar BACK DOOR.

Yes,  Medicare will cover “voluntary advance care planning”, (at which the end of life  decision) will be encouraged as part of annual visits by the elderly to their doctors.

Paul Krugman Acknowledges the Truth of DEATH PANELS

Remember when the lefties screamed about Palin’s use of the word Death panels, to describe the government choosing who and who would not get medical treatment?

Well,  they forgot about that, and here you see the esteemed New York Times operative, Paul Krugman acknowledging Sarah Palin’s pinpoint accuracy.

KRUGMAN:  They should have said, “Okay, look, Medicare is going to have to decide what it’s going to pay for. And at least for starters, it’s going to have to decide which medical procedures are not effective at all and should not be paid for at all.” In other words, it should have endorsed the panel that was part of the health care reform.  If the commission isn’t even brave enough to take on the death panels people, then it’s doing no good at all. ……………..

No. Some years down the pike we’re gonna get the real solution, which is gonna be a combination of death panels and sales taxes.  It’s going to be that we’re actually gonna take Medicare under control and we’re gonna have to get some additional revenue, probably from a VAT.

A Death Panel of One

Pro-Life Advocates Call Obama Pick Donald Berwick a One Man Death Panel.

David N. O’Steen  minces no words in calling Obama’s new Medicare and Medicaid Czar a one man death panel.

It is most gratifying to see more and more people catching on to what the Pharmer already knew….. socialized medicine = rationing, and death for the most vulnerable people.

This appointment of Donald Berwick bypasses senate approval, which would likely be difficult for such a flagrant proponent of rationed care.

From Lifenews:

“Berwick’s advocacy of the decimation of American health care is long-standing. In a 1994 Journal of the American Medical Association article, he wrote, “Most metropolitan areas in the United States should reduce the number of centers engaging in cardiac surgery, high-risk obstetrics, neonatal intensive care, organ transplantation, tertiary cancer care, high-level trauma care, and high-technology imaging.””

Obama Will Drop the Big One on America

and the dirty fallout will send the rest of the world to economic ruin.

Rush Limbaugh was explaining the reconciliation option,  and how it would work, on his show this past summer.   He said that this was the option they would eventually use to pass the Obamacare (with its Abortions and Death Panels).

So, once more,  Obamanator,  Rush was right, and your repeated campaign LIEs that it would have to pass with 60 plus majority are now viral on the internet, and available below.

No Hair Splitting Here

Thanks to Christian Hartsock for dredging up a commentary on James O’Keefe from the underbelly of  Busted Halo, and shining a light on it.

Among many lay theologians is the need for the intellectual exercise of moral  hair splitting,  which diverts attention away from  huge chunks  of bad judgment expressed in their own lives.   At the Busted Halo, for example, one may find support for Obamacare, with little  thought of the carnage of elderly and disabled people designed within this plan.

About half of US “Catholics” are congenital democrats, and through the practice of idolatry, which is NOT condoned by the religion, remain obligate democrats. This statement will hurt some feelings, but many people, who claim to adhere to the same religion as this Pharmer, are helping to destroy civilization through their erroneous political practices.
There exists ancestor worship gone wild (again not condoned by the Church) with some “Catholics” stating a feeling of disloyalty to their parents if they would vote other than democrat , even though the Washington wing of that party has morphed into a freakshow.
The proper practice of Catholicism would preclude rigid party loyalty, and instead demand that we vote for the candidates who most closely support a respect for the human rights bestowed by the Creator (which does not include a free ride using STOLEN resources). Sometimes there might be a call not to vote, in a particular circumstance, if there are no good alternatives.
The virtue of Charity is attenuated once the responsibility is allocated to the government.
The most egregious error of the US Catholic Conference of Bishops has been to allocate to the Corrupt government, the responsibility to determine who lives and who dies, by ignoring the abortion problem for decades, and by supporting socialized medicine. Only under outside pressure has come a too little, too late effort by the USCCB to address the abortion problem in Obamacare, while ignoring the reality of the “death panels” inherent in the plan.
The Pharmer is careful not to diss those who feel called to do the “dirty work” which protects us while we cogitate on religious idealisms, and dream of a world without killing, stealing and rape. One may find long term support and admiration for the non-violent work of James OKeefe Down on the Pharm, starting with his project  to expose the racist based genocide by planned parenthood.

Rahm Apology Misses the Mark

Rahm Emmanuel is falling all over himself  apologizing for calling certain liberals Retarded.

The politically correct posturing misses the mark as it always does, and deflects our attention away from the  leftist   Emanuel brothers programs for KILLING the disabled.

If you recall,  the Obama administration contains two crazy Emanuel brothers, Rahm and Ezekiel.   Ezekiel is the Rationer of Health Care Resources, who would exclude the disabled from the government’s favored list of beneficiaries.  From deep within the memory division of the Pharm comes his  article in Lancet, and this video, so that we don’t forget the true attitude of these  leftists towards those with disabilities.

The Politico is following Rahm’s diversionary tactics, but down on the Pharm, we keep our eye on the ball.

Rather than pandering to people with political correctness of language, we should  stop insulting people with slow mental processing ability by using the word ‘retarded’ to describe liberals.   Retardation is slowness, and does not imply the bad judgment, immorality, lack of ethics which plague our lefties.

We should also demand that the leftists stop their programs of  killing people with disabilities prior to birth, excluding those who survive this culling from health care access, and euthanizing them.

In this blog is a treasure trove of links to the leftists own words regarding their intentions for our health care system.  Searching obamacare will dredge up quite a bit.  One example quotes Palin on DEATH PANELS, with numerous corroborating references appended.

Mr. Houben is NOT a Vegetable

Here’s a reminder of our extreme limitations in determining whether a human life is worth living. We are simply NOT good at it, and should stay out of the business.

Rom Houben has lived 23 years of his life trapped inside his body, unable to communicate, yet fully conscious.  He was unable to convey his condition to the physicians, and only recently with new technology was it determine that he was not in a persistent vegetative state.

This man is still quite limited, though now able to communicate with other via computer, and able to read books.  Mr Houben apparently has NO intention nor desire to die soon.  He considers himself to have been reborn, with the discovery that he is conscious.

Would such a man, with his huge will to live, survive the coming death panels which will necessarily accompany government dictated health care  inefficiencies, and reactive “cost containment”??

Pic of Mr Houben from the Daily Mail, which is linked above.

Update 6-10-10
The docs don’t take it all back, but they do retract the claims  about facilitated communication.
Apparently they tested the the methodology of Houben’s communication assisted by his therapist, typing on a computer, and found failure. That Houben is not a vegetable remains supported by the brain studies, but his ability to communicate is not as earlier stated.
