After you read the above story of the ethics complaints against Newt Gingrich, you might become less convinced that Crazy Nancy Pelosi will be able to drop a bomb on him. Likely her lawyers have been trying to get her to shut up.
Apparently a former Georgia congressman, Ben Jones, aka Cooter of the Dukes of Hazzard, who lost a race against Newt in 1994, was driven to obsession. He brought forth a complaint about a political science class that Gingrich taught. This effort began a stream of bogus complaints which Newt tried to sweep out of the way in the most convenient manner possible, by admitting to some form of wrongdoing, and paying $300,000 fine. After all was said and done, the IRS exonerated Gingrich of any wrongdoing with respect to this college course and its funding.
Sarah Palin went through a similar barrage of attacks, while governor of Alaska with none of the complaints against her sticking. The business of defending herself against the charges was leading her to financial ruin, and preventing her from functioning as governor, so she resigned her post.
This kind of business from the Democrats is what scares the most competent and straightforward of people away from politics. It severely limits the pick of political candidates to those with an extremely high appetite for risk.
Expect Santorum to face a similar attacks as Gingrich and Cain, should he meet with further success on the campaign trail.
It really is time for Republicans to fight fire with fire.

For the first time, a Democrat- appointed judge has ruled against Obamacare. The standout Judge is Frank Hull, a Clinton Appointee, who concurred with Judge Joel Dubina, a Bush appointee, in the 2-1 decision.
The court has specifically struck down the mandate, and not the entire law as Judge Vinson did in an earlier decision.
The various decisions made on the Obamacare abomination will likely cause it to be brought it to the Supreme Court this fall.
This most recent decision noted that there would be no limit the powers of Congress if it could force people to purchase health insurance, with Judge Stanley Marcus apparently thinking that this is OK.
Flashback to Obama on retaining the Bush Tax cuts: “Make no mistake, allowing taxes to go up on all Americans would have raised taxes by $3,000 for a typical American family and that could cost our economy well over 1 million jobs,” Obama said.
With the economy no better than last year, Obama appears quite ready to blackmail seniors and the military in order to get his tax increases.
Obama admits that the government has spent all of the money “invested” by tax payers into social security. Nothing is in there. Bernie Madoff went to jail for doing this kind of stuff to investors. The U.S. is going into debt to sustain the social programs.
Republicans should call Obama’s bluff on this, and use his latest statements in the political ads for 2012.

Orlando Sentinel reporter Scott Powers was designated as the pool reporter to cover a Biden Fundraiser at Alan Ginsberg’s “Winter Park” house in Florida.
The reporter was confined to a closet by Biden staffers during most of the event to keep him from mingling with the guests, and was only let out to hear Biden’s prepared remarks. He was then confined back to the closet.
The host of the event later apologized to Powers, saying that he was only following the lead of the Democrat staffers, and claimed that he had no idea that the reporter was confined to a closet.

From CBS News: “In an interview with Hotsheet, Democratic Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schulz called the bill “nothing short of a violent act against women.” She equated denying federal funds to a rape victim with the “hijacking of a woman’s independence.”
“I don’t know how anybody could suggest that there is any rape that is acceptable,” she said. “I just think it sends a very clear message direct from the heart of the Republican party to women in America about exactly how Republicans feel about women.”“
Pharmer would like to give Schulz a taste of her own medicine. Amy Woodruff of Planned Parenthood, (Perth Amboy facility) and the many more which have been revealed, and are yet to be revealed, exemplify what Congress-hag Debbie Wasserman Schulz D Fl. thinks of of GIRLS: that it’s OK to enslave them for sex, and to utilize our tax dollars to conceal these crimes.

New Castle Councilman Michael Wolfensohn came upon some busy underage entrepreneurs selling refreshments and baked goods at Gedney park, and called the cops on them.
Yes, it’s true, this politician says that the kids’ business needs to be licensed, and, instead of just telling the kids, he called the cops and Busted them! This guy’s a real, socially adept charmer

Out here in S.E. Indiana there are quite a few heated campaigns. Dems, looking forward to a terrible Tuesday, are playing dirty pool.
We have Dems buying advertisement for the libertarian candidate, Greg Knott in an attempt to split votes away from Todd Young, who threatens to grab the seat held by Baron Hill.
Dems are spending large on television ads smearing the Republican challenger to state legislator Bob Bischoff.
Seems that the Dems have suddenly become quite puritanical about fornication, having forgotten about perverts Clinton, various Kennedy’s, Edwards, Dodd, and Barney Frank of the Virgin Islands. They insinuate that a relationship Jud McMillin had with a woman in Dayton is to be blamed for his resignation from the Dayton Ohio prosecutor’s office way back in 2005. The problem is with their timeline, as McMillin turned in his resignation on Aug 25, 05 and the lawsuit brought in fall of 2006 by Crystal Stapleton says their fun didn’t start until Sept 11, 05, OR sometime shortly thereafter.
It’s a bummer that the chronology of evidence turns the Dem’s ad into a blatant lie. Pharmer had trouble with Bischoff, to whom she gave several votes in prior years, allowing this ad to run, in addition to refusing a vote to discontinue state funds to planned parenthood. By contrast, McMillin, a political neophyte, has thrown support to the local crisis pregnancy center, and showed up to emcee their fundraiser.
These days, the Democrats have gotten so whacked, that one has to question the judgment of a politician willing to run under their banner.
So ‘ol Jud gets the vote, with the hope that this unpleasant political experience cools his tool, and he gets some religion.
Apparently the fact that Rahm Emmanuel has been in Washington DC, and that his renter won’t allow him to break lease, means there may be trouble with his appointment as Mayor of Chicago.
It is very likely that the Cook County Court will endorse Emmanuel as it is considered important that a prospective Democrat Mayoral appointee “wants” to live in Chicago.

Hot off the The Christian newswire, Indiana Right to Life has set a policy unlike any other prolife group thus far. The group will endorse no democrat political candidates. Prior to this, the group had abandoned hope of finding a suitable prolife democrat for the Indiana house, but their policy now universally abandons the Dems as a whole. This results from the Indiana congressional Democrats abandoning their prolife interests entirely, in favor of Obamacare.
