Not the Back of the bus………. UNDER the bus!

O’Donnell: Where is it in the Constitution?

Just do a Search, and find out that Google is not much help on factual news.

Christine O’Donnell debated Chris Coons in Delaware today, and her question about separation of church and state has been mocked by everyone who hasn’t read the U.S. Constitution and the First Amendment.

There is nothing about Separation of church and state in the constitution. The premise of her question is absolutely correct. Go look for yourself.
There is a prohibition against establishing a state church, or a theocracy. And there is protection of freedom of religion. But there is no separation. One does not separate the religion of a person from his activities, since the religion governs the activities.

The lefties are hell-bent to strip us of our free expression of religion, and the little students have been dutifully indoctrinated by their instructors. Widener University Law Students exposed their utter ignorance of the Constitution and the First Amendment, by their laughing response to O’Donnell’s question.

Read the First Amendment for yourself:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

No separation in there.

That idea came from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote, Danbury Baptist Association in 1802 and which the lefties have interpreted for the purpose of expunging the free expression of religion. Interestingly, the letter was an assurance that the churches would continue to be protected from encroachment by the government.

Regarding the presentation of Creationism in the public schools: nothing is wrong with presenting that as a theory concerning how we came to be. Evolution is a theory. Intelligent design is also a theory. Pharmer posits them as equivalent theories, because no one has observed either event occurring, and both are studied and pondered as possibilities by both scientists and theologians. Creationism is a subset idea under the Intelligent design concept, which comes from a rather literal interpretation of the Judeo-Christian religious texts. It does not violate the Constitution to present the various theories of how humans came to be. It is, however a violation of the Constitution to give only one theory as educational dogma, as is done by presenting only Evolution (a theory first brought forth by Charles Darwin, who also acknowledged the Creator in his book).

Those of us read Darwin’s book and who are functional in the field of science, understand that a Theory is not Dogma, and is not to be taught as such, or it will not be questioned, refined and improved.

O’Donnell’s religion is Catholicism. It does not propound a literal interpretation of the Biblical Creation Story as dogma. It does, however teach that there is the Creator who made the universe(s) and designed humans in His own image.

Pharmer, a functional scientist who does not fear freedom of religion, recommends this for a holistic public education curriculum:
The Evolution theory should be presented along with the Creation theories of many different cultures. Let’s have some diversity.

It’s very sad that the students at Widener University, and almost all of the mainstream media in the United States are so completely uneducated about our Constitution.

Pharmer of Indiana is donating to the Delaware campaign of O’Donnell, to honor the spirit of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, as soon as they give a mechanism without requiring employer info. Found one!  Sent $ for both O’Donnell and  Angle.

There is a Dire need for the TEA Party and it must continue.

Pastors Need Not Fear IRS

Another Wave of Pastors has sent their politically charged sermons to the IRS and have received no response.

David Barton, of the Wallbuilders believes, with good reason, that the IRS will not attempt to remove tax exempt status from these churches because they know they’ll lose in court.

By laying low, the IRS hopes to keep most pastors living in fear of them so as to allow only the more bold leftist pastors to exhort their congregations to political activism.

Wake Up America!!

Planned Parenthood and Obama Administration Train FBI to Harass Pro Life Protesters

Obama Admin Targets Pro-Lifers in FBI Training Forum With Pro-Abortion Orgs.

Carrying anti-abortion signs and passing out leaflets has become classified as violence.

Linked HERE is the resource guide prepared by Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups for the August seminar at FBI headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

When Obama said that abortion would be at the heart of his health care plan for America, he meant it.

A blast from the past to remind everyone that Obama is most distinguished among politicians by his support of the late term variety of abortions.

Someone this devoid of conscience would have no trouble jailing protestors for their exercise of free speech.

Bakery Turns Down Participation in Gay Activism, Might Be Evicted

Bakery displays morals, now faces eviction OneNewsNow.com.

Pharmer, an Indiana resident, has long known that Indianapolis has gone leftie  (down the tubes) in many different respects.

There’s a backlash  against an Indy bakery for refusing a special order from a gay activist group to make rainbow cookies to celebrate National coming out day at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus.

David Stockton, who deserves your mail-order business, turned down the job, saying that he didn’t feel comfortable supporting the gay cause because of the example it might give to his two daughters.

There has been a push to use an anti-discrimination law to have Stockton’s business,  Just Cookies,  evicted from his long -held location.

Don Surber,  blogging at the Daily Mail says it best: “It is None of the City’s Business.”

Just Cookies, 222 E Market St. #43, Indianapolis, IN 46204-3374, Phone 317-634-4456.

If you want professionally made cookies,  bring your business to  the Stocktons.    Maybe they’ll make enough to  move out of the city, and  start up a big, booming, mail order business.  Indy doesn’t need their tax money anyway.

ACLU Alert! Leftie New York Politicians Offer STATE LAND for Mosque

Read all about it!

The lefties of New York, sensing that even their own people would vote them out,  have decided it might be a good idea to move the mosque to another site.  Governor Patterson intends to meet with the Muslims with incentives for this change of plans.

What should be of prime interest to the ACLU is that there is a proffering of  STATE LAND for building the mosque at a different site, to avoid the controversy of its location as a victory monument at ground zero of the 9-11 attack on the World Trade Center.

Perhaps there will also be some state land offered to the Greek Orthodox for the replacement of  the St. Nicholas church????  Hmmmm???

Harry Reid Worried about November Election, Opposing the Mosque

The primary evidence to show the democrat desperation to be reelected is their break with Obama on the Mosque construction at ground zero..

Reid publicly announced his opposition to the leftist + muslim effort to declare victory over America by building a mosque where Islamic terrorists killed over 3000 people at the World trade center.   Please note that the above link is to a UK newspaper 😉

Interestingly the leftists have not yet figured out that a mosque does not represent victory for them, as their social agenda will not but supported there.

Fun facts:

The lefties have denied rebuilding of  St. Nicholas, a  Greek Orthodox church which had already existed in the same area.

Plans to build  a gay bar next to the proposed mosque also exist, and the prospective owner, Greg Gutfeld plans to cater to muslim men.

The ACLU favors the building of the mosque…….

yet it is famous for opposing public displays of Christian beliefs.

The ACLU also opposes the professional position not to purposely kill humans in health care practice.  Interestingly Muslims are also gaining media attention for the same pro-life position.

One may peruse massive literature  on the ACLU pro-killing position at www.aclu.org  oddly catagorized as  “reproductive rights”.

Religious Tolerance of the lefties is very selective.

Home Depot Fires Cashier for Wearing Patriotic Button

Trevor Keezor, a cashier at Home Depot was fired for wearing an “One Nation under God” button. This occurred after wearing it at work for a year, and shortly after he took up reading a bible at lunch break.
By contrast, Home Depot has shown itself to be much more friendly towards the display of accessories showing pro-gay sentiment, and this has inspired the AFA to initiate a boycott of the company.

Teaching Catholic Beliefs is Considered Hate Speech in Illinois – Same as Canada

FOXNews.com – University of Illinois Instructor Fired Over Catholic Beliefs.

Professor Ken Howell was fired from the University of Illinois at Urbana for teaching Catholic beliefs in his class on Catholicism.  Specifically he explained the Catholic teaching on homosexual sex, in an email,  based on the religious interpretation of natural law.  This caused him to lose his teaching position, and also to lose his job  as head of the Newman Center at the University.

The Newman Center job is said to be funded by the Diocese,  so explanations concerning that dismissal will be interesting. The current claim, attributed to Chancellor Patricia Gibson,  is that  the Diocese fired Howell because he can no longer teach at the university.

The Alliance Defense fund,  a Christian legal group which has also  given aid to conscientiously objecting health care professionals,  is considering assistance to Dr. Howell.

At first blush, we see a general group of Christians  offering to defend  a Catholic professor who has been abandoned by his own Diocese.

This is a religious and academic  freedom case worth watching.

Florida school district bans Bibles

Florida school district bans Bibles on Religious Freedom Day – The Religion World – Orlando Sentinel.

The above headline appears somewhat inaccurate.  It instead seems that Liberty Counsel  is suing the Collier County School district over their refusal to allow World Changers to distribute Bibles to public school students.

The distribution included a disclaimer that the Bibles were not from the school,  and that acceptance by the students was voluntary.

The school district allows literature from non profits to be distributed there, but forbade the Bibles, giving the reason that they do not provide any educational benefit.

The lawsuit is well deserved.
