Obama’s Arrested Development Colors His Work Relationships with Women

Mitt Romney still won’t say whether he’d stand up for equal pay, but he did tell us he has “binders full of women.” OFA.BO/LMVWmZ

— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) October 17, 2012

Is this the communication from a presidential administration or from a middle school boy?

During the second presidential debate with Romney,  Obama told us his solution to work place issues for women:  Birth Control.

Romney’s answer was more substantive, telling of his efforts to recruit competent female advisors and staffers into his admininistration while governor of Massachusetts.

The snippy little Obama Tweet made an issue of Romney’s referral to the applicant data presented to him during the recruitment process.

Are women going to be impressed by Obama’s  suggestion of birth control to make women a more secure place in the work world, or Romney’s  practice  of  offering  flex-time benefits to recruit the best female workers?

The Weekly Standard Blog reviews articles from the Washington Post and Time Magazine, reminding us that Obama’s own administration is a Boys Club. (No, they did not say Man’s Country).

Over and above bad feelings experienced by the women in the Obama administration, hard data reigns supreme.  Obama signed a bill  regarding women’s pay  in the work place, but he’s never been able to provide parity in pay  or representation for women, whether   in his own senate staffor his own white house  administration.

Obama Campaign Touts e-cards: Can I Borrow $18,000 for Birth Control?

Obama eCard for Women: ‘Can I Borrow $18,000 to Help Pay for My Birth Control?’ | The Weekly Standard.

Apparently Team Obama thinks its Gurls are bulk users of birth control.  Here’s an e-card that an obamagurl is supposed to send to the female parental unit or to  whomever, to encourage them to vote for Obama.

For an Obamagurl, it appears that “dessert” costs more than dinner. The entertainment budget is high. Perhaps as they grow, they need more hormones for birth control efficacy.

some gurls need a LOT of birth control

Perhaps the large appetites cause a need for huge quantities of prophylactic devices. Does an Obamagurl need her own factory?

It’s not Pharmer generating this idea of the prodigious appetites of the Obama-gurls. It’s the $18,000 tab mentioned on the Obama e-card as the tab for his female acolytes’ birth control bills!!

Muslims are invited to take a look at the article linked above  and comment on the success of the “Arab Spring” which Obama and George Soros ENDORSE.

Those Muslims who have a problem with this barbaric treatment of women (and minority religious groups)  should be redirecting their commerce and charitable donations  to avoid supporting  this activity.

FDA Attempts to Patch K-V Pharmaceuticals Progesterone Mess

FDA Allows Cheaper Version of Preterm Labor Drug To Stay on the Market – Health Blog – WSJ.

A short time ago, there was an uproar because the FDA had given approval to KV pharmaceuticals to be the sole producer of 17-alpha-hydroxyprogesterone caproate, (Formerly named Gestiva)  a drug used to sustain pregnancies in women who produced insufficient amounts of progesterone.

Pharmacies had been preparing these doses and supplying them at about 10 or 20 bucks apiece.

KV had sent a letter to the pharmacies announcing that compounding the doses would no longer be allowed, and that their drug, Makena, at $1500 dollars per dose would be the only drug available. It is extremely important to know that  K-V has no research and development costs to recoup with the introduction of their commercial form of a drug which had been studied and used for years. In fact, fast approval of Makena was based upon a 2003 study funded by the NIH.

This drug is injected weekly to sustain a pregnancy, so you can imagine the cost to the affected mothers. Suddenly the cost of preventing premature babies in the US would be jacked up to multiple billions of dollars.

Of course Obamacare would have the death panels to halt that source of excessive cost.  K-V would need to recoup its investment very quickly.

The new drug by KV pharmaceuticals was named Makena.  The sound of this name set off bells in the mind of yours truly, wondering who paid off Obama to get this windfall of profit due to exclusivity granted by the government for K-V Pharmaceutical Co.   You betcha…. Makena is a Hawaiian boy’s name (but can be given to girls).  The meaning is ABUNDANCE, as in windfall profits for K-V. There HAS to be a political connection larger than the individual political contributions from K-V employees. ……. and it will be unearthed.  Watch closely because some articles are already being scrubbed from the internet.  Two dead ends so far.

Fortunately, this obvious and unconscionable scam and, granting of monopoly status, (similar to the quinine sulfate scam) met with immediate protest.

The FDA now says that the letter from K-V pharmaceuticals was in error, and that pharmacies will not be forbidden to compound doses of 17-alpha-hydroxyprogesterone for individual patients.

More delectable goodies follow:

Adeza is the company which first submitted Gestiva to the FDA for approval in 2006, based on a study paid for by the NIH.  It obtained orphan drug status in Jan, 2007

Adeza merged with Cyctec, and Cyctec merged with Hologic.  And here’s a whole Makena timeline! The blogger estimates that K-V would recoup its entire investment in purchasing the rights of the drug in two short months, at the initially planned, astronomical price.

Hologic  Inc. sold the total rights to its product, Gestiva, 17-alpha-hydroxyprogesterone caproate to K-V Pharmaceuticals in 2008.

K-V Pharmaceuticals was perhaps needing a boost from the government (granting it a monopoly)  because it’s subsidiary, Ethex had been required to recall  incorrectly made pain killers containing excess amounts of active ingredient. More K-V disasters resulted from selling unapproved drugs,  and from dismissal of a vp of corporate strategy and operations.  This company was on the verge of bankruptcy.

K-V’s windfall profits  could be   targeted by lawsuits concerning still births attributed to 17-hydroxy-progesterone, as well as increased incidence of pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes.

March of Dimes bears responsibility for helping to initiate this debacle, and has been burned by the result.  Here’s the result of their  collusion with MOD DONOR K-V Pharmaceuticals.

Bill O’Reilly – Qaddafi Brutalities

Bill O’Reilly speaks to Wafa Sultan, author of the book, “A God who Hates”. Dr. Sultan discusses the plight of women under Sharia law, which persecutes/kills women who dare to bring charges of rape.

Go to The Blaze for an update on the story of Iman al-Obeidi who was raped by Qadaffi supporters and has publicly accused them of this crime.
Possibly world-wide publicity of her precarious situation will cause her life to be spared.

Pulmonary Hypertension and Pregnancy

Pregnancy in PAH Is Potentially Manageable.

Dr. Dianne Zwicke, a Wisconsin cardiologist has devised a treatment regimen for managing pregnancy in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.

The treatment involves management of heart function during pregnancy, delivery of the baby at  36  to 37 weeks, and management of the mom’s condition in the ICU during the crucial period after delivery when maternal  mortality rate is highest.    Excess fluids  are dumped from the mother at a rate of three liters per day for 72 hours after delivery.

Dr Zwicke is not telling women with pulmonary hypertension that they should go get pregnant.  Her method, though very successful,  is not sufficiently well  tested for that, and requires monitoring and cooperation that is not available everywhere.    She has been telling already pregnant patients that they don’t have to abort the baby.

Read a news feature on Zwicke’s  treatment regimen HERE.

Sanitary Towel Prompts TSA To Grope Sexual Assault Victim.

This woman failed the backscatter scan, due to her feminine hygiene product, and got the groping.

Portion of the Complainants email:

“These new scans are so horrible that if you are wearing something unusual (like a piece of cloth on your panties) then you will be subjected to a search where a woman repeatedly has to check your “groin” while another woman watches on (two in my case – they were training in a new girl – awesome).

So please, please, tell the ladies not to wear their liners at the airport (I didn’t even have an insert in). I’m a strong, confident woman; I’m an Army vet (which is why those camo liners crack me up), I work full-time and go to graduate school full-time, I have a wonderful husband, and I don’t take any nonsense from anyone. I don’t dramatize, and I don’t exaggerate. I’m trying to give you a sense of who I am so you won’t think that this is a plea for attention, or a jumping on the bandwagon about the recent TSA proposed boycott.

I just don’t want another woman to have to go through the “patting down” because she didn’t know that her glad-rag would be a matter of national security.”

The Muslims will be exempted from this, because their religion is respected by the administration.

Special Condemnation of this Crime from The Elites

8 gang suspects arraigned in NYC anti-gay attack – Yahoo! News.

Sure wish that the Elites, such as Mayor Bloomberg of NYC thought that abuse and  rapes of women and children merited the special condemnation that they  reserved for attack on gays  by a gang in his city.

Pharmer is one of those people who thinks that equal crimes should bring equal punishment, and that torturing and raping children and women is just as bad as doing that stuff to gays.

Perhaps there would be less of that going on if our leftie elitists felt the same way and acted on it.

Remember, Portland Oregon……… the US capital of sex slavery..…. has TWO,  count em….  ONLY TWO vice cops.

The Pill turns 50 this Month and a Salon Writer Notices Some Downsides

Why I hate the pill – Drugs – Salon.com.

Jill Stanek caught this one today…….. the downside of the pill has been noticed over at Salon.com.

Pharmer  has been dispensing   the anticoagulant meds to plenty of young patients  on the pill,  over the years,  and sees more future lawsuits in the making as the reticence about reproductive issues disappears entirely.

Perhaps this loss of reticence will lead to demands by women that regard for their safety in medical matters  become more on par with that of men.

Highlighted in the Salon article is the loss of libido suffered by many women who take the hormonal contraceptives.    For these women, taking the pill isn’t  liberating, because they’re  not obtaining the primary, expected benefit  from delivering the goods to the guys,  no strings attached.

So many  women are all about self sacrifice, even when they don’t realize  it.
