Vote Early, Vote Often

Michelle Obama tells us to vote early because something could come up on election day, for example your “toilet overflowing”.

Michelle: Vote Early Because Your Toilet May Be Overflowing on Election Day | CNSNews.com.

Apparently our government thinks we should vote often, since it contests the state voter ID laws, with Texas being just one example.

It also is tearing down billboards which admonish people to obey existing election laws.

Anti Voter fraud billboards to be torn down in Ohio and Wisconsin-

Oddly, the only early voting that the Obama administration seems to oppose is that of the military, which needs this opportunity the most.

Obama administration opposed Ohio allowing in-person early voting for military voters.

Fort Hood ‘workplace violence’ survivors plea for terrorism designation in YouTube video | Twitchy

The survivors of Major Nidal Malik Hasan’s 2009 massacre at Ft. Hood are pushing for the killings to be called an act of terrorism. The Obama administration has labeled it “workplace violence” although Hasan’s ties to Islamic terrorist groups were apparent.
At issue is proper recognition for those in the military who suffered death and injury at Ft. Hood, which operated under military policies which put the personnel at unnecessary risk. The mis-labeling of this attack also has deprived survivors of benefits which would be normally accorded to military personnel injured in the line of duty.

UN Opposes Mitt Romney Election as Democratic Mandate for Torture

The Rapporteur Special, Ben Emmerson, of the UN, whines that the election of Mitt Romney means an OK from the U.S. for torture. He particularly is upset about the possibility of a return of waterboarding as an interrogation technique. This is because Romney refused to specify which interrogation methods he would rule out, though he did say that he opposes the use of ‘torture’.

If the UN doesn’t want Romney to be elected, Pharmer feels much better about voting for him. 🙂

Twelve Year Old Oklahoma Girl Injects Home Intruder with Lead

12-Year-Old Oklahoma Girl Kendra St. Clair Home Alone Uses Family Gun to Shoot Intruder | Video | TheBlaze.com.

Terrified, Kendra St. Clair of Bryant County in Oklahoma called her mom as an intruder broke into her home.

She was directed to get into her mom’s closet, get the gun and dial 911.

Kendra promptly did as her mother ordered, and was connected to 911 as she saw the door handle turning in the closet.  She shot through the door and hit the intruder in the shoulder.  32 year old Stacy Jones fled the scene, but was picked up by cops a few blocks away.

That was the first time Kendra had ever shot a gun, but fortunately Glocks are fairly simple to operate.

The police have praised Kendra for doing exactly what she needed to do.  Pharmer is happy that she’s still here and the burglar is locked up.

Obama’s Election Night Gathering

At Hillbuzz, Obama’s chosen venue is described as being much smaller and more private than the big,  2008  election night rally held in Grant Park, Chicago.  Kevin DuJan says that the place is not good for pedestrian traffic or lines of buses.  The meeting places in McCormick Place, are entirely indoors, and will not fit the throngs of people who would be attracted to a winning candidate’s victory party.  This event  is definitely downsized.  This convention center is  a good place to make a concession speech, and then  take a very short drive back to the Obama-Rezko mansion afterwards.

Obama expects to lose.

Obama’s Arrested Development Colors His Work Relationships with Women

Mitt Romney still won’t say whether he’d stand up for equal pay, but he did tell us he has “binders full of women.” OFA.BO/LMVWmZ

Is this the communication from a presidential administration or from a middle school boy?

During the second presidential debate with Romney,  Obama told us his solution to work place issues for women:  Birth Control.

Romney’s answer was more substantive, telling of his efforts to recruit competent female advisors and staffers into his admininistration while governor of Massachusetts.

The snippy little Obama Tweet made an issue of Romney’s referral to the applicant data presented to him during the recruitment process.

Are women going to be impressed by Obama’s  suggestion of birth control to make women a more secure place in the work world, or Romney’s  practice  of  offering  flex-time benefits to recruit the best female workers?

The Weekly Standard Blog reviews articles from the Washington Post and Time Magazine, reminding us that Obama’s own administration is a Boys Club. (No, they did not say Man’s Country).

Over and above bad feelings experienced by the women in the Obama administration, hard data reigns supreme.  Obama signed a bill  regarding women’s pay  in the work place, but he’s never been able to provide parity in pay  or representation for women, whether   in his own senate staffor his own white house  administration.
