Benghazi: Waiting for the Media to Catch UP

Ben Shapiro, at Breitbart.com has summarized the frustration that people in the New Media feel about waiting for the Old (decrepit) media to catch up.

Pro-lifers feel his pain. We always have to wait years, and even decades for the lamestream media to report on what we have known forever. There is the constant derision coming from the media elites, followed years later by their admission that we were correct all along.

In the case of the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi, the media covered up an Obama administration cover up, so that BHO could be reelected. Now that all the participating parties, except for Barry himself, have moved on to other jobs, the Old Media is now forced to reveal some of the facts. In doing so, they’re pretending that they were played as dupes for months by Obama and Hillary Clinton.

We know better. Obama got re-elected, and he got away with ANOTHER coverup, similar to that of the Fast and Furious debacle. Unlike the Nixon coverup, Obama’s crimes have initially cost hundreds of lives and damaged U.S. foreign relations. Many more lives will be lost due to our nation’s resultant loss of stature on the world stage.

The Benghazi story, which will be made clear in upcoming testimony by whistleblowers, is one more reason for people to stop viewing or reading the Old media, and turn to the internet for their news.

NYT and WAPO Find Planned Parenthood School Sex Ed Too Shocking for Their Readers

Both the New York Times and the Washington Post refused ads from the American Life League which contained images from Planned Parenthood’s sex ed for grade school kids. The material in question is targeted for kids as young as 10 years old, yet the two leftie papers refused ads with the excuse that sample material was too shocking for their adult readers.

These two fading news rags are big Planned Parenthood supporters, yet they seem not to approve of the sex ed programs that the abortion giant is bringing into American primary schools. The Washington post found the images too graphic. The New York Times would only run the ads if the American Life League would blur the images which are used to teach our 10 year old kids.

Infanticide is Here to Stay

Judge Jeffrey Minehart is dropping three of the murder charges, a charge of infanticide and five counts of corpse abuse in the Kermit Gosnell case.

Count on abortion clinics adopting the practice of throwing live born babies immediately into the freezer, rather than attempting supportive care. This will prevent anyone from determining if the babies took their first breath before they died.

It does not matter that this information was published here. The abortionists have surely been poring over the evidence and testimony in the Gosnell case (which the media hides from the rest of the world). They’ll know exactly how to dodge the Born Alive Infants Protection Acts.

People don’t want to know about this stuff, because they can’t deal with it. There’s no change from the Germans who ignored their NAZIs, or Muslims ignoring their freakazoid bomber fanatics.

Getting to know Dzhokhar

Matthew Sheffield of Newsbusters has supplied a collection of tweets coming from Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s account, celebrating the 2012 victory of Obama over Romney. Accompanying this is a long list of links showing the leftist media trying to paint the two brothers, who are blamed for the Boston Jihad, as conservatives. Should people be supporting news outlets which are habitually wrong?

Watertown Police Chief, Edward Deveau has related a story of how Dzhokhar’s older brother died : Cops were in the process of handcuffing Tamerlan when Dzhokhar drove a stolen SUV at them. The police were able to dive out of the way, but Tamerlan was run over, and dragged by the vehicle.

Update: Where did Dzokhar get money? A few individuals have claimed that they bought pot from him, so it appears he got at least some of his income from selling drugs. There is also mention of work on the side, repairing cars.

Boston Jihad News is Faster on Drudge and Blaze

Here, there, and everywhere, we’ve been hearing lefties at CCN and various other outlets, naming conservatives as the cause of the Boston Marathon terror attack. Perhaps they are crying in their Starbucks to find that a pair of Chechan converts to Islam are the apparent culprits. Once more, they are wrong (lying) about the right wing. For the moment the left-media can thank the bombers for shielding Kermit Gosnell’s infanticide trial from media scrutiny. New legal proposals for the regulation of pressure cookers and licensure of those who use them are expected.

The eldest of the brothers Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26,has already been killed. His 19 year old brother, Dzhokhar, is being hunted and is currently pinned down by law enforcement in Watertown MA.

It’s always a surprise to the Pharmer to meet a new conservative friend who hasn’t yet moved to the Drudge Report as a primary news aggregator. Drudge is always faster than the boob tube news with respect to election coverage and this current hunt for the second of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing. For people who aren’t satisfied with what Matt Drudge and his editors think are hot scoops, there is a long list of international news portals, lamestream media, and editorial links at the bottom of his page.

The Blaze is a more visual site, with a higher concentration of opinion, but it is still whupping the lamestream media in speed of Boston Jihad coverage.

Breitbart.com continues its quality output after the celestial discharge of their namesake, with Ben Shapiro and crew. Available there is a timeline of the Tsarnaev brothers stay in the United states which sheds some light on possible motives for the bombing.

CBS Journo-LOSTS Demonstrate Educational failure.

Officials: 80 Percent Of Recent NYC High School Graduates Cannot Read « CBS New York.

The article above informs us that 80 percent of NYC High School Students need remedial instruction in the basics before going on to college. In other words, they have to pay for additional education because they’re not being adequately prepared by the government funded education.

Three hours before Pharmer encountered the article, another reader, “SS”, had commented on a typo in the word ‘group’, (grouip), the mispelling of the word ‘nervous’, (nervus), and the use of “emersion” rather than immersion. Two of the errors were corrected, but the word “nervus” still remained at the time of this reading.

Were this a blogger, such as yours truly, who posts news on the fly, without the benefit of an editor, one might expect some errors. Journalists write for a living, and have the “benefit” of editors, who are supposed to review articles before publication.

Fortunately, CBS has a third layer of help from those who append comments to the posts. Thanks “SS” for your voluntary service to news readers.

Celestial Discharge: Ms. Lorraine Bayless, Trailed by Media Mayhem.

Prayers for the peaceful repose of Ms. Lorraine Bayless, and prayers for her family, which, by all appearances, is being victimized by a bumbling news media and generally uninformed public.

Prior to her natural death, following a collapse in the dining hall of the Glenwood Gardens Extended Care Facility, the 87 year old Ms. Bayless was residing in the independent living section of the facility. Her condition precipitated a call to 911, by an unnamed nurse. The 911 dispatcher, in a much publicized call, begged the nurse to administer CPR. When the nurse refused, the dispatcher begged her to find someone else who would.

The daughter of Ms. Bayless, also a nurse, has stated that she is satisfied with the care given to her mother at Glenwood Gardens.

What has precipitated the media storm, foaming at the mouth, and gnashing of teeth by so many uninformed people, is a statement by KGET television of Bakersfield, California, that the elderly lady had not signed a DNR form.

Interestingly, over in the UK, the Daily Mail says just the opposite, that the women had indeed signed the DNR form. Most who are commenting at that source are wondering what is causing the big fuss in the U.S.. In their minds, the Glenwood nurse was fulfilling the lady’s wishes.

Your friendly Pharmer would like to add that not all elderly people want to be bagged and thumped when they are in the process of leaving this world. Many truly do opt out of it, as they have accumulated too many health ailments, or fear doing so. Some realize that the success rate of CPR is not all that terrific, and the outcome for an elderly person very seldom involves springing back to the prior state of health. CPR is also generally painful after the fact, due to cracked ribs, and many other possible injuries.

None of us know the circumstances of Ms. Bayless, nor do we know her final wishes, since reports are conflicting regarding her paperwork. She need not have used a form to convey how she wished to go, and might have made her intentions known by other means.

Please avoid the temptation to ascribe this event to Obamacare (which is much worse than being allowed to die a natural death in old age). Please also withhold judgment on the nurse who stayed with Ms. Bayless as the emergency care was summoned. It would also be good to avoid assumptions about the daughter of this lady, about whom we know little, other than that she does not intend to rain down legal punishments upon Glenwood Gardens extended care facility.

Having attended a good number of code blue events, Pharmer quite understands the choice of people to opt out of CPR, and expects to make this choice for herself long before the age of 80. Many health care professionals actually feel guilty when they have to perform it on an elderly person who has not expressed their wishes on the matter.

Update from newsok.com: “City fire officials say Bayless did not have a “do not resuscitate” order on file at the home. Her family said, however, “it was our beloved mother and grandmother’s wish to die naturally and without any kind of life-prolonging intervention.””

More on the Censorship Habit at the Whitehouse

Two years ago, the Obama administration was outed in San Francisco for threatening to exclude reporter Carla Marinucci and other Hearst journalists from future appearances, after she included a video of a protest outside an Obama April 2011 appearance in that city. The editor at the San Francisco Chronicle, Phil Bronstein, reported on the threat the following day, which the White house officials then denied.

This prompted Chronicle editor Ward Bushee to call the officials out on their lie. He revealed a day of correspondence between the editors and the White house, which finally resulted in the rescission of the ban.

A portion of the behavior of the media is based on a fear of losing access if they do not faithfully serve the interests of the administration. The net effect is that Americans have news which is not news, but is merely government feed.

Journalists Report Threats from the White House for Articles Critical of Obama

Bob Woodward reports that he has angered the Obama administration so significantly that he has been threatened by a “very senior person” at Whitehouse. They did not appreciate Woodward reminding us that Obama originated the sequestration and signed the bill which contained it, on August 2 of 2011, and then threatened veto of any bill which rescinded any part of it.

Woodward also has objected to Obama’s changes in military maneuvers, and blaming the sequestration for these changes.

From Business Insider: “Earlier today on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Woodward ripped into Obama in what has become an ongoing feud between the veteran Washington Post journalist and the White House. Woodward said Obama was showing a ”kind of madness I haven’t seen in a long time” for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.”

Lanny Davis, who served as advisor to former President Clinton reports that he received similar threats from the Obama administration for columns that he wrote in the Washington Times. In an interview with WMAL radio, Davis said that his editor, John Solomon got a call from a white house official who said “that if he continued to run my columns, he would lose, or his reporters would lose their White House credentials.”

Bob Woodward: Obama is Lying About the Sequester

Bob Woodward, leftie journalist of the Washington Post, in a “random act of Journalism”, has revealed the detailsabout the origin of the ‘sequester‘, which Obama is currently blaming on the Republicans.

Jack Lew and Obama cooked up the ‘sequester‘. It’s automatically triggered reduction in projected spending, which was to prevent Obama from having to negotiate the issue during the campaign.

Says Woodward: “The president and Lew had this wrong. My extensive reporting for my book “The Price of Politics” shows that the automatic spending cuts were initiated by the White House and were the brainchild of Lew and White House congressional relations chief Rob Nabors — probably the foremost experts on budget issues in the senior ranks of the federal government.Obama personally approved of the plan for Lew and Nabors to propose the sequester to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). They did so at 2:30 p.m. July 27, 2011, according to interviews with two senior White House aides who were directly involved.”

Do click on the paragraph above. You will find out that Bob Woodward is still a good leftie reporter, working for the Washington Post. Hecouldn’t dance to the media tune, because Obama’s lie contradicted what he had already written in his own book.
Woodward still thinks that Obama is right to insist on more taxes and, most particularly taxing the rich, but he’s not going along with the lie that the Republicans invented the ‘sequester’.

By the way, the sequester is puny, not enough reduction in spending, and will not cause the projected disasters because very little money is involved, as a percentage of total spending. Since the sequester is Obama’s idea, it does contain disproportionate reductions in projected military expenditures, when compared to government dependency programs.

Washington Post Downsizing

Washington Post is planning to lay off 54 employees, after losing 45.4 million in value, with shares dropping by $6.57 in the 4th quarter of 2012. That’s for the company as a whole. The print version of the newspaper is doing worse, losing 12 percent of advertising dollars. This loss was partly made up by the online paper, and Slate.

Keep up the good work, boycotters. The lamestream media needs to pay for abdicating its role of policing the activities of government.

The proper response to MSNBC is to stop looking at it, do not click their ads, and try to avoid supporting their known advertisers. Give MSNBC the corporate “death penalty” for its transgressions.

Psssst Media Secret: FBI investigates NJ Sen. Bob Menendez for Use of Underage Prostitutes

You won’t hear hardly a whisper of this if you watch the mainstream news. Sen Bob Menendez apparently likes to visit the Dominican Republic, via private aircraft for recreational reasons. He has a Democrat, donor buddy, Dr. Salomon Melgen, an opthalmologist with whom he likes to party, and the FBI knows it. This is why they have raided said physician’s office complex looking for evidence, and have driven away with van’s full of material.
Some other problems of Dr. Melgen, besides his party life with Sen Menendez, are his successive tax liens, amounting to many millions of dollars.

For background, you can visit HERE, and see the original interviews of women in the Dominican Republic, who say that Sen. Menendez paid them for sex. The women reported that he promised them $500, but they only received $100.

When pressed about the accusation, Senator Menendez said that he would not dignify the story with a response.

Tiny Anti-Gun Rally in Washington DC gets Big Coverage, While the Huge March for Life is Ignored

Reuters carefully kept the camera angles low to conceal the fact that the Anti-gun rally on Saturday, in Washington DC was less than a hundredth of the size of the annual March for Life. “Thousands” were said to have attended. See for yourself by checking out their slide show HERE. This would be considered a mandate from the people for the Obama administration.

Media is Out of the Closet, and ‘Fact Checking’ is Fantasy

Is CBS News your trusted news source? Pharmer sees no reason to obtain information from any mainstream television source. John Dickerson is called Slate’s chief political correspondent, but he is also the Political Director at CBS News. He’s been caught telling us just how he feels about the Republican party.

Dickerson thinks that Obama needs to destroy the republican party in order to prevail. This is in keeping with his old habit, dating back to Illinois politics, of eliminating, rather than beating political opponents.

Dickerson says that Obama needs to “pulverize”. “If he wants to transform American politics, he needs to go for the throat”.

Do you see a reason why the republicans should be striving for approval from CBS or any of the other alphabet networks??

John Nolte, at Breitbart thinks that the media, having come out so blatantly as sycophants of Obama, will wear out their welcome into the televisions and computers of the American public, and eventually go belly up.

On to the FUN story of the week. Politifact has mud on its face slung by Reuters announcement that Fiat, which bought Chrysler will be making a hundred thousand Jeeps in China by 2014. They’ll be working with Guangzhou Auto Group to become big players in the auto industry.

What was the biggest lie of 2012 according to Politifact?? It was Romney’s campaign ad, which picked up early on this news and ran with it. Politifact refuted the ad as a lie, and blamed the story on a conservative blogger.

The Romney ad claim, which Politifact called the biggest lie of the year, is actually the literal TRUTH!

Lara Logan Treats Her PSTD With Diazepam and Red Wine

A good, strong media-grrl, Lara Logan shows us the way….following her gang-rape in Tarir ‘Square’ by a mob of crazy Egyptians, engaged in’ Arab Spring’ demonstrations. Perhaps she wants to show us that the trauma of gang-rape is do-able. She sucks it up and heads out on her missions as CBS foreign correspondent, with the help of diazepam and red wine. As we know, diazepam (Valium)is a rather long acting benzodiazepine, so she might retain the effects of the active metabolites of this drug for days after her pre-mission doping. One astute comment followed the story below, suggesting that Ms. Logan should be engaged in different journalistic pursuits until she is able to deal with these trips to other countries without self medicating, for her own sake, as well as that of others.

The commentary surrounding Kansas City Chiefs player, Jovan Belcher, killing the mother of his 3 month old child, and later killing himself, has saturated the popular media.

Bob Costas, a tenured, leftist, NBC sports announcer, gained further favor with his bosses by reciting the words of a fellow leftist, Jason Whitlock, on the air:

“Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it.”

Perhaps some people would not have the mental energy to call up another murder/suicide (Fri 11/30/12) which made national news over the weekend. The following is from the AP, describing a murder at Wyoming Community College in Casper.

…”police were trying to figure out what motivated Christopher Krumm to attack his father and his father’s girlfriend, 42-year-old Heidi Arnold, a math instructor at the college. Arnold was found stabbed to death in front of the home she shared with James Krumm.”

“After shooting his father with the arrow, Christopher Krumm stabbed himself, then fatally stabbed his father in the chest in a struggle in the classroom, Walsh said.”

“Police arrived to find James Krumm dead and Christopher Krumm barely living. The younger Krumm died soon after students fled in a panic.”

What was Costas/Whitlock saying about guns being necessary for murder/suicide?

Please also note that the highest murder rates, and America’s most recent and notable massacres, have occurred in locations with the most stringent gun restrictions: VA Tech, Columbine, Aurora, Ft. Hood. Chicago has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, and it’s a war-zone.

“Sandy” They’re Awfulizing the Big Storm Again!

Remember the hand wringing prior to “Hurricane” Irene hitting the northeastern seaboard? Well, they do this every time. Soon no one will listen to the lamestream weather criers anymore, and perhaps everyone will fail to respond when a real disaster hits. This time, Matt Drudge, who is a disaster junkie, has been saving his red headlines for the stories about federally induced storm panic.

Sandy is one large storm, but as it’s hitting land it doesn’t rate as a hurricane if you pay attention to the wind data coming from the weather stations which feed Wunderground.com.

Pharmer picked two… One in Robbins’ Reef NJ, because there was news about evacuations in New York City, and one in little Assateague Island, out there all by itself, east of Maryland. Pharmer expects the storm to blast that island hardest.

The wind data is in Kilometers per hour on the weather station flags. Look at the graphs and you won’t see wind gusts above 50 mph, and sustained winds are much milder. You know what that means. It’s just like a summer storm, down on the Pharm, only lasting longer than usual.

It’s a mess, but not worth the big warnings to evacuate.

Sorry weather criers, Sandy is not going to give Obama such a big chance to look presidential. In fact, we might even be able to get back to learning more about why Obama refused help to the Libyan Embassy in Benghazi when it was attacked.

Update: Pharmer sees the weather stations still tracking after midnight, with the wind not getting worse, and…….. you know the power hasn’t been knocked out yet.

Update: 6am 10/29 Winds at Robbins Reef, NJ are around 30-35mph, and gusts have not yet hit 50mph. The worst of the storm has blown through Assateague, MD, but another milder area is overhead. Winds there are calm and they’re getting a LOT of rain.

Update: 1:18 pm The storm has shifted direction and is heading north ward. Winds are picking up at Robbins Reef, with sustained winds in the 40s and with gusts in the 50s MPH. Unfortunately for Assateague, the storm turned before blowing further westward. It looks like the weather station is giving winds ranging from zero to gusts in the 80′s. As it is registering mostly calm winds, Pharmer thinks it’s down.

Wunderground has stopped displaying weather station data, due to bandwidth shortage as of just before 2 pm. The winds at Ocean city, MD have appeared to die down to the teens.

So far it looks like – Pharmer is right, the media has kept Sandy awfulized to a hurricane, though it hit as a tropical storm. But Pharmer is wrong about needing to evacuate. Flooding is turning out to be cause for evacuations in coastal areas not prepared for such Wetness.

The politics? REALLY! Obama flew to Florida to campaign yesterday, but was flown back to monitor the storm. What’s on the news? The Obama campaign is wondering whether the storm can be utilized to help his reelection effort. Tacky Tacky Tacky.

Pharmer sez, use Wunderground and your own gossip chains, NOT the media, to decide where to send aid to wet and cold people.

Sandy is pretty much finished with these three locations, and now they can start mopping up the mess.
Why did the weather stations send continuous data to the internet? No power outage at those locations, near where Sandy made landfall.
