ABC, NBC, CBS Pantsed again

Read up as the hypocrisy of the big three networks  (all having completed layoffs of  their own workers for financial reasons)  is exposed.

All three are decrying the effort of Sen. Jim Bunning to enforce the recently passed  PAYGO legislation,  which requires that any new spending be offset by eliminating an equal amount of old spending.    He’s held up the latest unemployment spending,   saying that it needs to come out of the old TARP funds in order to be adherent to the new law.

While ABC attacks Bunning, for example, it has just recently fired 400 of its own employees, as a cost cutting measure.  HEARTLESS!  CBS has also cut back just recently, while NBC did its  major chopping of staff  in 2008.

Rush Limbaugh was explaining the reconciliation option,  and how it would work, on his show this past summer.   He said that this was the option they would eventually use to pass the Obamacare (with its Abortions and Death Panels).

So, once more,  Obamanator,  Rush was right, and your repeated campaign LIEs that it would have to pass with 60 plus majority are now viral on the internet, and available below.

D.C. Archdiocese Forced to Drop Coverage for Spouses over Same-Sex “Marriage”.

Already the Washington DC Archdiocese was forced to close its foster care program due to the new laws affecting gay marriage.

Now it has cut off health care benefits to all spouses of all new employees, in order to avoid being forced to recognize gay marriage.

Remember……… Obamacare with its abortion and death panels could similarly  close all of the Catholic health care.   This could  instantly cause 16 percent of the health care in the U.S. to disappear.   More could be gone if other religiously run institutions follow suit.

Since Muslims also do not like abortion, it is unlikely that they could fill this void, even if they had command of the other resources.  One severe limitation is the high degree to which anticoagulation treatment protocols used in the hospitals are LEANING ON PORK. Yes it’s true,  heparin and the variety of low molecular weight analogs are PORK products.

Pro-Abort Garrison Keillor to Deliver Catholic Teachers Assoc. Keynote Address.

For those who are paying extra tuition dollars to send their kids to Catholic schools……. this is how  their teacher’s organization,  the NCEA is spending its money to entertain the teachers at their convention.

One wonders why the  religious organizations pay the same people who heap abuse upon them in public.    An alternative theory is that they don’t feel part of the groups opposing abortion and gay marriage, and therefore are not insulted by Garrision Keillor’s views and public statements.

Let’s Applaud When Catholic Bishops Do the Right Thing for Pro-Life Values.

The above linked article is by Fr Thomas J. Euteneuer, of Human Life International who informs us that Bishop Robert Vasa of Baker Oregon has removed the Catholic affiliation and insignia of St. Charles Hospital in Bend Oregon.   The reason why is their refusal to stop doing sterilizations.   That would be artificial birth control,  and you know what the Catholic Church thinks about that.

One wonders what might be in store for the Catholic affiliated hospitals which are distributing the morning after pill and doing the so-called  “therapeutic” abortions.

The Vatican has been moving in some more conservative Bishops, here in the U.S.

There are now seven bishops who won’t collect for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, due to it’s distribution of funds to charities which do not adhere to Catholic values.   Expect more of this.

And yes………. Catholic hospitals, time to wake up.   With the  Catholic affiliation removed, the funding sources will have to change somewhat.   There will be increased dependency on the government, and decreased private philanthropy.   RU-Ready for  Chaaaaaange!

No Hair Splitting Here

Thanks to Christian Hartsock for dredging up a commentary on James O’Keefe from the underbelly of  Busted Halo, and shining a light on it.

Among many lay theologians is the need for the intellectual exercise of moral  hair splitting,  which diverts attention away from  huge chunks  of bad judgment expressed in their own lives.   At the Busted Halo, for example, one may find support for Obamacare, with little  thought of the carnage of elderly and disabled people designed within this plan.

About half of US “Catholics” are congenital democrats, and through the practice of idolatry, which is NOT condoned by the religion, remain obligate democrats. This statement will hurt some feelings, but many people, who claim to adhere to the same religion as this Pharmer, are helping to destroy civilization through their erroneous political practices.
There exists ancestor worship gone wild (again not condoned by the Church) with some “Catholics” stating a feeling of disloyalty to their parents if they would vote other than democrat , even though the Washington wing of that party has morphed into a freakshow.
The proper practice of Catholicism would preclude rigid party loyalty, and instead demand that we vote for the candidates who most closely support a respect for the human rights bestowed by the Creator (which does not include a free ride using STOLEN resources). Sometimes there might be a call not to vote, in a particular circumstance, if there are no good alternatives.
The virtue of Charity is attenuated once the responsibility is allocated to the government.
The most egregious error of the US Catholic Conference of Bishops has been to allocate to the Corrupt government, the responsibility to determine who lives and who dies, by ignoring the abortion problem for decades, and by supporting socialized medicine. Only under outside pressure has come a too little, too late effort by the USCCB to address the abortion problem in Obamacare, while ignoring the reality of the “death panels” inherent in the plan.
The Pharmer is careful not to diss those who feel called to do the “dirty work” which protects us while we cogitate on religious idealisms, and dream of a world without killing, stealing and rape. One may find long term support and admiration for the non-violent work of James OKeefe Down on the Pharm, starting with his project  to expose the racist based genocide by planned parenthood.
