Chinese Octo mom (with helpers)

Rich couple beat Chinese one-child family law by secretly having EIGHT babies | Mail Online.

No, this couple did not beat the system.  But they do have eight babies, a big fine, and have lost their home in Guangzhou.

This is a big violation of the one child policy.

There was some trouble with fertility which caused the mom to seek treatment, and at the same time hire two surrogate mothers.

What they wound up with was three triplets from the mom, and a total of five kids from the two surrogates.  Eight babies was waaaaay more than the Chinese reproductive regulators could stand.

Carol of the Bells

“Christmas Lunatic” lined up a display on his own house and those of two crazy neighbors. It looks GREAT!

Naturally Pharmer had to learn how they do this, and one generous designer shares his secrets HERE. He uses light-o-rama software and controllers, a low level FM transmitter, and thousands of LED lights. There’s also a trick to fixing up the MP3 tracks to use a constant bit rate, to prevent the lights from drifting off beat. You can purchase musical programs if you don’t feel up to designing your own.

Merry Christmas!

Pro-life nurses win major court battle (

Pro-life nurses win major court battle (

Twelve nurses of the same surgery unit at University of Medicine and Dentistry Hospital, one of New Jersey’s largest health care facilities, have won their suit, and will not be forced to participate in abortion procedures.

Yet to be determined are the reprisals and scheduling problems which might crop up as  a result of their dissent. U.S. District Judge Jose Linares says that he will retain jurisdiction over the case to monitor and rule on any disputes which might arise as the decision is enforced.

Perhaps the hospital will recognize the public relations problem of coercing participation in abortion, and allow the nurses to practice in peace.

Congratulations to the courageous nurses and the lawyers of the Alliance Defense Fund on their victory.

Light Above the EXIT for Abortion Clinic Employees

A Letter to Abortion Clinic Workers: We Are Praying for You |

Abby Johnson got out of the abortion industry once she realized that it’s not really there to help women.

(The  idea of openly selling the morning after pill to men ought to be a signal, folks.)

Now she’s got a program for assisting abortion clinic workers who want to get out.    How about that?!  Here’s where you get advice and assistance in finding a new life after the abortion industry. Click Abby, or 40 Days for Life, or contact your local CPC.

Obama Administration Sued, Made New Hampshire Fund Planned Parenthood |

Obama Admin Sued, Made New Hampshire Fund Planned Parenthood |

New Hampshire cancelled a 1.8 million dollar grant to planned parenthood, due to concerns that part of that money would be supporting the abortion portion of their business.

Obama decided to make up for this by granting a 1 million dollar replacement with your federal tax dollars.   This was funded through cuts in funding to neighboring health care providers.  In addition, this money was provided without the usual process of allowing other agencies to compete for the grant.

New Hampshire Right to Life has been looking into this unusual million dollar grant, and is suing the Sebelius HHS, because this very ‘opaque’ agency refused its Freedom of Information  request for information.

The Obama administration has also opposed a Texas attempt to defund planned parenthood.

Indiana is fighting the HHS threat to defund its other health programs because of the state’s decision to defund the country’s largest abortion provider.

The answer is:  YES your federal tax dollars are being used to fund abortion.  Obama is fulfilling his promise to keep ABORTION at the center of his health care program.

U.S. Military Rescinds Unhealthy Policy of Banning Bibles at Hospital | FOX News & Commentary: Todd Starnes

U.S. Military to Rescind Policy Banning Bibles at Hospital | FOX News & Commentary: Todd Starnes.

Walter Reed has had the following  policy, expressed in the Sept 14 memo from Chief of Staff C.W. Callahan covering wounded or ill patients at the hospital:

“No religious items (i.e. Bibles, reading material, and/or artifacts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit,”

A day after Rep. Steve King, R (IA)  renounced the policy memorandum from the House floor,  the Obama administration rescinded the policy saying that it needed to be clarified and rewritten.

OOPS.  Caught in the act again, Bamster.

My Time at Walmart: Why We Need Serious Welfare Reform – The College Conservative.

Christine Rousselle worked as a cashier for Walmart, in Scarborough, Maine,  for a couple of summers and gives first hand witness of massive welfare fraud and abuse.

Lifting one of her examples of said abuse:  ” b) People using TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) money to buy such necessities such as earrings, kitkat bars, beer, WWE figurines, and, my personal favorite, a slip n’ slide. TANF money does not have restrictions like food stamps on what can be bought with it.”
