Former sportscaster Marvell Scott pleads guilty in child prostitute case – NYPOST.com.
Stemming from an incident in 2008, WABC sportscaster and physician, Marvell Scott was accused of statutory rape and patronizing a prostitute.
The story presented by the prosecution is nothing short of disgusting. Apparently the 14 year old child did not freely consent to the function of prostitute.
After years of delay.. Scott is freed by a plea acknowledging only child endangering. He will serve 20 days of community service.
One of Dr. Scott’s defenses was that he did not know the age of the girl involved in this alleged transaction. Prospective patients at his practice, Performance Health, on East 60th St, NY, NY, should bear this competency issue, and the other matters, in mind.

John King, is the owner a large, non-union electrical business in Ohio.
He was shot by a man whom he caught in the act of slashing his car tires outside of his home.
Why is this violence considered Union-associated?? Because the vandal had written the word “scab” on the side of King’s car. Sort of a giveaway.

Neighbor chases Kidnapper, saves girl | Albuquerque, N.M. | KRQE News 13.
An alert neighbor watched a man, parked beside a South Valley, NM playground, attempt to coax a little girl into his van. When she resisted, the kidnapper got out and pushed her in.
The neighbor (not named in the news story) got into his car and followed the kidnapper while dialing 911.
In an attempt to lose the trailing neighbor, the kidnapper attempted to get away into the desert and crashed his van.
All ended well, with the perpetrator attempting to run and the anonymous hero rescuing the girl from the vehicle.

AZ court upholds limits on abortion.
Jivin J over at Jill Stanek’s found this news, of an Arizona appeals court upholding that state’s new abortion limitations.
Nurse practitioners are no longer allowed to do the mifepristone abortions. Waiting periods remain in place, and pharmacists right of conscience is upheld with respect to other abortive drugs: the morning after pills.
This is a BIG deal, as the criterion of “undue burden” for women is defined more stringently. The fact that the law allows some burden on those seeking abortion is not sufficient for the law to be overturned.
