Abortion Clinics Tour

Troy Newman and Mark Crutcher toured a Wichita abortion clinic which had been bought out by Operation Rescue. It closed at the time of the buyout, and the tour in this video occurred a couple weeks later, in August 2006. Though the clinic was certified as being compliant with National Abortion Federation standards in 2005, by 2006 it was in bad shape.

warning: induction abortions at the end.

In the UK the peak abortion season is about to start. Sunderland and South Tynside’s clinics are preparing for the rush in mid February that comes as a result of holiday “festivities”.

Indiana State Legislation Aims to Protect Conscientious Heath Care Workers

Introduced Version, House Bill 1228.

Click above to read House Bill 1228 in its entirety. This constitutes an effort to protect the health care workers who wish not to participate in abortion.

All citizens should be interested in this bill because it also protects the CHOICE of a woman to not get an abortion.

Once Obama-care sets in, there will be considerable coercive forces for a woman to abort in the case of untoward fetal diagnosis and various other economic reasons.

Freedom of choice for health care professionals is a line of protection for the freedom of choice by patients.

Even people who wish for abortion to be available, but not COERCED should be supporting the right of health care professionals to opt out.

Hospital Aborts Wrong Twin in Horrible Mistake | The Stir

Hospital Aborts Wrong Twin in Horrible Mistake | The Stir.

From Australia comes a story of a woman who decided to abort one of her twins due to a untoward fetal diagnosis of  a heart defect. (In the pre-Obama care U.S.  there are still  corrective options for fetal heart defects.)

Due to an error, at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, the healthy twin was killed instead.   The mistake was discovered at 32 weeks gestation, at which time the twin with the heart defect (according to the article) was delivered by “emergency” c-section and then killed.

The article’s author commiserates with the mom who has “lost two children”.

These two children were not lost.   They were both willfully killed.

The governmental  health care administrators  might wish to consider the cost of post infanticide  mental damage  to the mother, and compare it to the cost of fetal or neonatal cardiac repair, or even the cost of keeping a newborn comfortable if  he or she  has a fatal defect.

Do We Have Room to Criticize?

This video is said to be of a four month old baby who is claimed to have been tortured to death by Syrian forces suppressing those who protest against Bashir Assad.

At The Blaze there is more coverage of the conflicts, with a good deal of commentary about the barbarity of people who torture babies.  The Daily Mail tells of a large dump of films on YouTube and social media, coming from the protesters.   Many of the commenters there  are skeptical of the  films’ content.

Considering the manner in which the unborn and sometimes newborn babies are killed in the U.S., are we in a position to be castigating the Syrians?

Perils of Government Funded Catholic Schools

Catholic school principal fired for promoting 40 Days for Life fights back with statement | LifeSiteNews.com.

Because of the government funding of Catholic schools,  the Archdiocese of  St Boniface had to fire a principal at Christ the King elementary school.   David Hood lost his position for encouraging the students to participate in the 40 Days for Life prayer vigil. One wonders if David Bereit and company could suggest legal help for Mr. Hood.

The school in Manitoba, Canada is 50 percent funded by the government, and therefore is a dependent ward of the state.  The funding is forfeited for participating in political activity.   The pro-aborts of Canada categorize abortion as politics in order to suppress free speech on the matter.   At issue is a claim that student service credit was to be offered for students who participated in the prayer vigil.   Hood says that no student received such credit.

Naturally  the Canadian Catholic Church, as a ward of the government is not free to  teach its students that abortion is wrong, or  that it is a thing to be opposed.

Catholic schools in the U.S. are accepting government grants, and to the extent that they receive this money, their activities and teachings are  similarly curtailed.

What about Pro Choice?

Teen Spared For Two More Weeks From Parents Forcing Abortion | LifeNews.com.

Kristen Hawkens of Students for Life has searched the abortion supporting blogosphere for commentary on the 14 year old TX girl whose family is trying to force her to abort.

A Judge has given the girl  a two week reprieve from having her parents drag her into a a clinic to kill her unborn baby, while it decides whether or not the execution should occur.

So far, there is little to no support for the CHOICE of the girl not to abort.  This is as expected, as we knew  that the pro-choice euphemism was a lie.   “Choice” = abortion.

Also disturbing is the fact that the judge only granted a two-week injunction, in December, stopping the family from forcing the abortion.

In January the judge extended the reprieve to the 19th, and appointed a guardian to protect the girl, who has accused a cousin of assaulting her in order to coerce the abortion.  She is represented by attorneys with the Texas center for Defense of Life.

The most comprehensive article on this ongoing case, listing the names of some family members and the names of intervening judicial officials, is found at The Daily Mail.   This news source states that Judge Missy Medary appointed a guardian for the girl, and passed two injuctions.   The girl, now 10 weeks along is apparently living with the relatives  of her boyfriend who  ‘will back any decision she makes’.

Ms. Carmen Pantoja, the grandmother of the girl, claimed that no one was forcing an abortion, but that she had suggested it.  She  has since  told ABC news that the girl is “going to have her baby”

The Latest Story of Planned Parenthood Decline

is at STOPP International.   They have analysed planned parenthood’s 2010 annual report and it tells a tale of reduced services, increased proportion of abortion, lower sales, lower profit, lower adoptions, and lower total number of clinics in operation.

Planned Parenthood has suffered huge losses in private donations, which the Obama administration has had to cover with your tax dollars.  More than half of the abortion provider’s income is now  coming from YOU and your fellow Americans.

Face It: Social Issues Impinge Upon Economic Issues.

Reading the opinions of people who can’t see the big picture is sometimes inspirational.   Salvatore of Breitbart is complaining that precious Republican debate time was wasted on the social issues, for example contraception.  Pharmer unloads in response:

Most people wish not to see the connection between the social issues and the economic issues. Those politicians who address the social issues are castigated, as they address the fact that something is a bit wrong in the lives of most of their fellow humans, and often their own lives as well.  Yes, P.J. the social issues impinge directly upon the economic issues.

Pharmer is here  to remind you what abortion did to social security, for example.  It lowered the payer to payee ratio. That is a serious problem which will kill the program soon.

Contraception? The “easy” forms of birth control feed the abortion industry, because of their effect on behavior, and because of the fact that they are not nearly as effective in actual use as the purveyors claim. Many forms are also related to the social security insolvency, by the way, due to the multiple means by which they reduce overall fertility.

Back to abortion: if you can kill those with medical difficulties, there is no need to develop the means to overcome these difficulties. Medical innovation ceases and there is stagnation.
Physician assisted suicide is also an easier short term solution which suppresses medical and technological innovation.
Such stagnation leads to further depression of the economy.

Divorce is a serious social issue which reduces the economic status of the family, and wastes resources through duplication of the household. There is a need for two dwellings, double furnishings, double heating and air conditioning. Divorce is NOT GREEN. It makes Mother Earth cry.
This is just scratching the surface.

It really is time for all people to get over the trauma of their personal circumstances, and admit that addressing social issues in an intelligent way would help the economy and the environment, as well as raise people’s standard of living.
This does not mean that the government should necessarily  have its  nose in very personal  affairs, but that it should stop rewarding detrimental behavior, and stop punishing those who make the effort to live up to commitments and hold their families together.
