The Mainstream Media Finally Noticed The Disproportionately High Abortion Rate Among Black Women

Their first coverage of what Black Pro-lifers placed before them for Years, is an attempt to claim that Blacks are being used by the Pro-life movement to push our horrible agenda against killing.

Tanya M Acker blogs at CNN  that Black women don’t need help from the pro-lifers who have reported  for decades  that American Blacks are aborting at a vastly higher rate than Whites.  It’s worth giving her commentary a read, before proceeding to  the reply Pharmer  offered on that site, and below:

Both breast cancer and fetal mortality ( loss of subsequent children due to prematurity) are linked to abortion.
This might help to explain the higher incidence this author cites among Blacks.

Almost half of Black children are aborted and Alan Guttmacher Institute has recently reported that the rate of abortion among Blacks is approaching 5 times that of Whites in the U.S.

Among sexually active teens, contraceptive failure is quite high, due to notoriously imperfect compliance. and pregnancy is a  usual result within a few years.   The incidence of unplanned pregnancy and abortion in the college years are  also astronomically high. Truly, most of planned parenthood’s services become abortion related. Abby Johnson, former director of a planned parenthood clinic, informs us that this is by design. There is pressure from above to drum up more of the profitable abortion business.

The author appears to concur with Margaret Sanger that abortion is “needed” by the lower income and the minority women, hence there is approval of the location of clinics primarily in urban areas.

The assumption that abortion is most often a “freely made choice” for a woman suggests a disconnect with reality. Do women choose to be under the pressure of bad social and economic circumstances such that they feel a need to kill their unborn child?
Where are these women who have FREELY CHOSEN to kill their own offspring prior to, during, or shortly after birth?

Among abortion supporters there’s a vacillation between presenting abortion as a sad thing that some women feel they have to do, and the above suggestion that it’s just a freely taken option, (a walk in the park, no big deal).

There’s also the suggestion that Black pro-lifers who brought up this disparity decades ago, to be ignored by all except the pro-life news media, are being paternalistic. Or even the recognition from the rest of pro lifers that something is wrong with this, is considered paternalistic. In the same article is the suggestion that Blacks NEED to be CARED FOR in so many other ways, by the government, but attention to this abortion disparity, and the health problems it brings, should be ignored.

Who is being paternalistic? What good have governments done for any of the peoples, around the world, whom they have taken under the wing and to whom they have provided “care” ?

Obama Will Drop the Big One on America

Rush Limbaugh was explaining the reconciliation option,  and how it would work, on his show this past summer.   He said that this was the option they would eventually use to pass the Obamacare (with its Abortions and Death Panels).

So, once more,  Obamanator,  Rush was right, and your repeated campaign LIEs that it would have to pass with 60 plus majority are now viral on the internet, and available below.

Keith Olberman, Just another Failure of the Education System

Over at Newsbusters, Noel Shepherd caught excessively liberal Olberman displaying that he has no understanding of the causes of birth defects, and those listed as being influenced by prior abortions.  Boy-Keith was trying to imply that the association of abortions with some birth defects suggests  that Palin might have had an abortion.

Abortions can cause damage to the reproductive tract, most particularly increasing the problem of incompetent cervix. This leads to premature births, and the related congenital problems associated with prematurity. There are also some troubles associated with failed attempts to abort medically.

Down Syndrome is most often the result of trisomy 21, (three copies of 21st chromosome). This follows a nondisjunction event, during meiotic division to produce the gametes (sperm or oocytes) , unevenly allocating three copies of that chromosome to a resultant human individual. The entire chromosome need not be involved, There is Robertsonian translocation in which the critical part of the 21st chromosome might be attached to the 14th chromosome for example. This can be displayed phenotypically as down syndrome. There is also a minor mechanism producing Mosaicism, in which uneven chromosomal distribution occurs in cell divisions of the developing embryo.

You can see from the above mechanistic explanations that these have nothing to do with prior abortion events.

The imperfect chromosomal distributions occuring in the cell divisions are associated with pregnancies later in life, and this was the case for Palin’s fifth child, Trig.

Olberman has displayed that he has NO idea what causes Down syndrome, and was too lazy to check before he made a fool of himself.

The Social ‘Dys-proportionism’ of the Left.

The PC self esteem police are out in force,  blue and red lights flashing, to display their concern for the Obama girls.  It seems that Michelle, who leads the charge against obesity, had mentioned that the condition of her girls had touched off a little body mass index  (BMI) discussion with the pediatrician.

Michelle had the temerity to touch upon this personal experience while speaking at an Alexandria Virginia event initiating her campaign against childhood obesity.   Yes,  she mentioned the pediatrician suggesting that the girls might be getting just a little chubby.   The self esteem police are aghast……… fearing that the girls might be incited to binge eating disorders if Mama Michelle so much as mentions the issue of weight to them, or about them.

Far be it from Pharmer to rag on Michelle for this  supposed sin against the self image.  What Michelle  said  is fairly normal, and not a big deal at all.    However it illustrates just how whacked out society is.

There were none from the leftie  PC police mentioning the hugely  abnormal Gaffe of Obama,  speaking at the  Town Hall  in  Johnston Pennsylvania,  about his daughters, who were then  SIX and NINE years old.  In fact most of them, including this nut at the Politico,  considered his behavior acceptable.

“Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old,” he said. “I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.”

It’s not a normal father who speaks out publicly of his daughters, acknowledging their single digit ages,  and mentions the possibility that they will be  made pregnant, and have abortions.

The lefties have been talking to themselves for so long, that they don’t understand the people who would object to kids having sex,  and getting pregnant at whatever age of minority.  So few of them are personally  involved in parenthood, that this raised no outcry among them.

It’s not likely  that the opinions of most religious  groups are of  much significance to Obama, but is he so deluded that he thinks he won the respect of a single adherent Muslim when he made the above  statement?

Much Jihad fever is fueled by the impression that Americans are immoral filth.  All of us will be paying, in  myriad ways,  for utter lack of proportion and  social dysfunction of the leftists.

Leftist Self Destruction

There’s a cycle of misery and  abuse among the leftists, and periodically one can step back and see how the current events fit into this cycle.

The National Organization of Women has made the above cycle so plainly visible, with their objection to Tebow’s superbowl ad,  that even other radical feminists are embarrassed.   NOW grrls won’t stand for speech that promotes the woman’s choice to keep her baby.  Their programming is to sell abortion.  Why is this programming so strong?  One  can obtain a childhood history of abuse or neglect from almost any NOW gal.   Inability to recover from this has  left them with a need for vengeance against all men (including the good ones) while at the same time, a compulsion from their inner programming to deliver more of their younger ‘sisters’  into the clutches of abusers.   Abortion serves both sick needs simultaneously.   Good men can be hurt by it.  Abusive men are enabled by it.

Elevating women to more  fullness of life is NOT on the agenda of these crazy feminazis.   In fact they Hate  women who exhibit  that fullness.   Prior to hating Sarah Palin,  the feminazis  hated  ol Pharmer  during a  few brief periods of public  notoriety.

Another  example,  while this topic is bubbling, is the fashionable hatred of Christianity by the left.   Most of these people are brought up in, or next to Christian culture, but in environments of dysfunction and non-adherence.   Using the usual leftist illogic, the ethical system of Christianity is then blamed for those who fail to adhere.    As a means to display rejection  all things Christian, the lefties are embracing those who practice Islam.   Which lefties, including Obama, have enough self discipline to survive  Islamic practice?

For example,  a thief can have his hands chopped off,  and the punishments for other criminal activities are equally severe.  Abortion, a favorite sacrament of leftists has made no further headway in the UN, mainly due to Islamic nations objections against  the practice.

Christians are hated for saying that gay sex or certain other  sex practices are against the Creator’s design of the body, and therefore sinful.    Paradoxically  there is this leftist attraction to Islam, which regards gay practice as a sin worthy of incarceration, torture, hanging, or beheading.

Moths to the flame………  yep, that’s our lefties.

Imbalance of the Sexes in China

There are reported to be 32 million more boys than girls in China under the age of 20, says this Discover article, citing the BMJ.

A milder appearing take  (which really cites the trouble guys of marrying age within 10 years) states that 24 million guys will be mateless AND dateless by 2020. 

Both versions cite the selective abortion practices in China as the main cause of this significant societal problem.

Rather than kidnapping women and girls  from other nations to fill the void in these men’s lives, perhaps some consultation and education from our “safe schools czar”, Kevin Jennings would fill the bill.*   Pharmer is certain that Kevin  has plenty of suggestions, as well as a little black book from GLSEN.

Can’t Argue with the Logic

Jewish Rabbis in Israel, arguing that abortion delays the redemption, support increased efforts to discourage abortion.

Chief Rabbis Shlomo Amar and Yona Metzger pointed to the Book of Exodus account of midwives Pu’ah and Shifra, who feared God, and would not comply with orders of the Egyptian king to kill the male Jewish babies.

Local rabbis were encouraged to speak on this topic, and that the Halacha severely prohibits abortions, in this weekend’s (1/9) Shabbat sermons at the time when the reading of Exodus begins.

Not to be unexpected were the usual protests and outcry from the pro abortion groups.

Sr. Carol Keehan Still Lost in the Weeds Regarding Abortive "Health" Care

Obama and Abortion have been so extremely attached for so long,  Pharmer expects Stedmans Medical Dictionary to rename the practice “OBORTION”.

This year,  Sr. Carol Keehan, of the Catholic Health Association,  managed the same kind of lost in the weeds public statement as last year when she praised the (later aborted) appointment of Tom Daschle as HHS secretary.   One can understand some administrative need to get along with the government, but these public statements cause her to appear a bit ridiculous to those who watch the political machinations.

Here’s what the Good Sister put out on December 17th, regarding the unfounded belief that Bob Casey ever shared any serious interests with prolifers, and that the Senate would be concerned with our respect for human life. 

More recently there is a too little, too late, statement that CHA agrees with the recent awakening of the U.S. Conference of Catholic  Bishops that public funding of abortion  and coercing the practice at the religiously run hospitals would be a bad idea.

Recent history has shown us that both the CHA and the USCCB have been willing to pass control of health care to people whom, as a group, are known to:
lie,
steal,
cheat on their taxes while demanding we pay,
accept bribes,
have association with the untimely deaths of ordinary citizens,
engage in personal practices which most of us find abhorrent,
favor health care rationing
abrogate the conscience rights of health care professionals who choose not to kill humans
favor, fund and obtain abortions
export the latter practice as population control for the “brown people” of the world.

Either the leaders of the CHA and USCCB are insane, or they have had  very short term economic issues in mind when attempting to get along with the slime of Washington DC.  It  is antithetical to good reason to hand over complete control of health care to a horribly corrupt institution, and expect for it to remain mostly  free from  the killing which the institution is known to favor.

Pharmer reminds the CHA and USCCB  that when their health care institutions no longer display any difference from the public institutions, the special social position and private funding which they have obtained will cease to exist.
