Think They’ll Start Washing Their Hands After Going To the Bathroom?

Germany steps up hunt for deadly E.coli source – Yahoo! News.

Where do you find Escherichia coli?   This is the bacterium most associated with feces.

A particularly virulent strain, (Shiga toxin producer) which is associated with severe food poisoning and sometimes death,  is  causing quite a panic in Europe.

Pharmer hopes that the spread of this organism, (which is transmitted  in the manner of many other organisms associated with food poisoning)  will inspire people to wash their hands after going to the bathroom, and before food handling and preparation.

It might even inspire those in Europe and elsewhere   to attend to the hygiene in their hospitals.  This would benefit ALL the patients.

We have previously seen  governmental wild goose chases looking for the source of  pathogenic organisms where vegetables and food products are grown.  Remember the salsa scare? It would be advisable for people to spend their effort attending to  proper food preparation and personal hygiene.  Hopefully they can still afford the soap and water after the governments have  burned their resources in  futile  attempts to track the organisms, and destroyed massive quantities of good food in the process.

Walgreens Fires Pharmacist for Stopping Robbery with his Legally Carried Firearm.

Pharmacist  Gets Fired for Using a Gun to Stop Robbery – Big Government.

Pharmacist Jeremy Hoven has a concealed carry license which he obtained subsequent to having his pharmacy robbed in 2007.  Workers at that pharmacy had asked Walgreens to step up security measures there, to no avail.

On May 8th, Hoven again was confronted by armed robbers at the Walgreens on Napier Avenue in Benton Township, Michigan.  The event was recorded on store cameras.

Police Lieutenant Delmar Lange supported Hoven’s actions, saying that Hoven had no alternative.    A store manager’s family  sent Hoven a thank-you card showing a pic of his four children.

Hoven had retreated as far as possible in the situation, and fired only after a robber jumped the counter and confronted him.

Walgreens policy allows customers in the store to have concealed carry weapons, but not employees.   Hoven stated that he had not been aware of this. Concerns about non-specific OSHA  regulations are possibly  to blame for the situation forbidding employees to carry firearms in this instance.   It’s OK only for customers and criminals.

Hoven’s lawyer is determining whether to pursue a wrongful termination lawsuit, which is likely to be a complex matter, but could  go further with the involvement of a government regulation.

USDA fines Missouri family $90k for selling a few rabbits without a license – Yahoo! News

USDA fines Missouri family $90k for selling a few rabbits without a license – Yahoo! News.

The heavy hand of the government is punishing the Dollarhite  family, of Dixa, Mo, for a 4 H sized rabbit project taken on in order to teach their teenage son responsibility.

They sold rabbit meat to friends and neighbors,  but the US Dept of Agriculture claims that they were selling rabbits to a pet stores.  This part time business generated about $4000-5000  dollars in sales over a couple of years, of which less than one tenth was profit.

They were classified as an unlicensed breeder of pets, putting them IN THE CROSSHAIRS of the USDA, and set them up for a series of threats and persecution.  They were told that the agency was making an example of them.

Judy Dollarhite stated that one USDA inspector intimidated the family, and said that he had interviewed neighbors about the family’s political leanings.

They are fighting an offer, from Sarah Conant of the Animal Health and Welfare Enforcement Branch, of “settlement” to the USDA of $90,643.

Their Democrat senator and Republican representative have agreed to intervene for them and a protest in front of the USDA office in Ozark, MO  is planned.

Mitch Daniels Appointee, Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven David rules contrary to 4th Amendment

……. and also  contrary to common law dating back to the Magna Carta.

“Indiana Supreme Court: Police Can Unlawfully Enter A Home…No Warrant, With No Reason At All…Residents Cannot Lawfully Resist…The Fourth Amendment Under Seige” | PEOPLEUNLIKEUS.

YES, Justice Steven David is a Mitch Daniels Appointee.    Pharmer Triple Checked in order to  be certain.

This will not help Mitch Daniels in his bid to win Republican Nomination for the presidency.

Justice David is due  for a retention vote in 2012.   A judicial appointee is subjected to a retention election within two years,  the decision being made by the citizenry.  He may then serve  a term of 10 years.   It will be our job in Indiana to remove this ridiculous judge, and his compatriots Frank Sullivan (term expires 2013), and Randall Shepard  (term expires 2015).

This abominable judicial decision, penned by Justice Steven David, can be accessed below.  David has concluded that the potential violence of resisting unlawful search and arrest can be avoided by not resisting, and placing oneself in the hands of the offender.  Women are  placed in the greatest danger by this decision, as rapists will suit up in their police costumes; (they are out shopping right now);  and get BUSY.  The wording of the dissenting opinion suggests an understanding of this.

Senator questions benefits to ‘adult baby’ – Washington Times

Your tax dollars at work.

via Senator questions benefits to ‘adult baby’ – Washington Times.

What’s tripping up some of these people, who arrange to live on disability for the rest of their lives, is the need for attention.

Stanley Thornton at age 30 lives as an adult baby, though he is able to ambulate, do woodworking and maintain a website.

He’s got a room mate, Sandra Diaz, a former nurse on disability, who acts as his “Mother”.

A television presentation of their odd lifestyle, on National Geographic Channel’s “Taboo” program, has caught the attention Sen. Tom Coburn, who smells a waste of tax payer dollars.

Thornton is now threatening suicide if his SSI payments are cut off.

Here’s the Fantasy lives segment featuring Stanley, from Youtube, for as long as it lasts:

Newt Gingrich Sticks With His Prior Health Insurance Mandate

Gingrich Knocks GOP Proposal for Medicare – WSJ.com.

It’s one thing that Gingrich and the Dems seem to  have in common: the idea that people  should be forced to purchase health care insurance.

Some people can afford to be ‘self insured’, and some would agree to take the risk and accept that no one cover them if they have a turn of bad luck.   Others are covered in private, voluntary groups in which people agree to pay for each others illnesses.

What in the U.S. Constitution allows the federal government to force us to purchase something?   Maybe Newt  (the washed up one) can tell us where to find this.

He’s Soooo Complex

Osama Bin Laden dead: Obama took 16 hours to make up his mind | Mail Online.

The situation was presented to Obama on Thursday, but he said that he wanted to “sleep on it”.

The decision was delivered on Friday morning,  April 30.

Then it took an extra day of waiting through the weather to get it done.

The story as to whether Pakistan was involved, or unaware of the mission continues to change back and forth.

Politico notes that the stories as to whether a wife of Osama was used as a shield and whether she was killed have changed in the white house account.

The story as to whether or not Osama was armed and returning fire has also changed.

The new nature of news by hearsay, from people with attention deficit disorder, will ensure  continuing flux.

From the San Francisco Chronicle: Obamastyle “transparency”

Obama Administration punishes reporter for using multimedia : Bronstein at Large.
“The hip, transparent and social media-loving Obama administration is showing its analog roots. And maybe even some hypocrisy highlights.”

Phil Bronstein knows hair….. yes he does.

Also he’s grousing at Obama for cutting off a presidential pool reporter, Carla Marinucci, because she used her little video cam  to catch some protest action during one if his fundraisers in San Francisco.

Expect for Carla to be reinstated back in into the press fold now that this scoop has gotten out all over the internet, and the legendary transparency is widely known not to exist.
