Bad Building Design at New St. Paul Planned Parenthood Mega-Mill

Pro life  Action Ministries shot this cell phone video at the new $16 million, three-story,46,000-square-foot Planned Parenthood facility in St. Paul, Minnesota. As you can see from the inefficient conveyance of this patient to a hospital, the building and signage  was not designed with the safety of patients in mind. It would appear from this video that patients who have been injured at the abortion clinic experience a BACK ALLEY exit.  More  commentary is at Operation Rescue.

Below is the satellite pic of this new facility under construction. It’s incorrectly identified as Lincoln Distributing LLC. Look at facade and count the windows. Yep.. it’s the same mega Planned Parenthood shown in the video. We did not get to see if the patient was wheeled out of the receiving bay (for delivery trucks).

Bioethicists Suggest Killing ‘Universally and Irreversibly Disabled’ Person Not Morally Wrong | Video | TheBlaze.com

Next they’ll be grabbing organs from political dissidents.

Bioethicists pretty much exist to justify killing, and other immoral medical and research practices.

Click above to see new excuses to  grab organs from donors before they have been declared dead.   It’s terribly inconvenient, and might harm organ quality to wait until the donor is actually deceased before snagging the needed body parts.

In some of the written justifications for this killing is the comparison of people who have lost their abilities with weeds in a garden.

Ready for Obamacare?

The only comfort is that there won’t be as much money to pay for organ transplants and the ensuing maintenance costs.

A quote from Walter Sinnett-Armstrong and Franklin Miller:

[I]f killing were wrong just because it is causing death or the loss of life, then the same principle would apply with the same strength to pulling weeds out of a garden. If it is not immoral to weed a garden, then life as such cannot really be sacred, and killing as such cannot be morally wrong.”

Chinese Octo mom (with helpers)

Rich couple beat Chinese one-child family law by secretly having EIGHT babies | Mail Online.

No, this couple did not beat the system.  But they do have eight babies, a big fine, and have lost their home in Guangzhou.

This is a big violation of the one child policy.

There was some trouble with fertility which caused the mom to seek treatment, and at the same time hire two surrogate mothers.

What they wound up with was three triplets from the mom, and a total of five kids from the two surrogates.  Eight babies was waaaaay more than the Chinese reproductive regulators could stand.

BOGUS Scientists Say Catholic Nuns Should Take Birth Control | TheBlaze.com

Scientists Say Catholic Nuns Should Take Birth Control | TheBlaze.com.

Your friendly pharmer got  a call from EWTN today regarding This  ‘Nonscience’,  by Kara Britt and Roger Short.

The quality of this Lancet article is comparable to the those  in the Journal of Irreproducible Results, a hilarious research PARODY journal, which entertains science nerds such as this one.  One does not expect parody or satire in the Lancet.  But, yes it sometimes contains garbage.

First of all, the increased incidence of breast cancer was highlighted uppermost in the illustrations of the article  in question, though the pill does not protect against this disease.

Second of all, according to the authors themselves, the nuns show less than or equal risk of ovarian and uterine cancer than the general population  until AFTER age 70.

Third, the lower doses hormone replacement therapy, which used to be given to reduce the risk of such disorders has been largely discontinued, except for short term use for menopausal symptoms, because it was not efficacious as a preventative.

Fourth,  the birth control pills are associated with thromboembolism and stroke to a much higher degree than the pharmaceutical regulatory bodies are apparently  aware, because such associations so often go unreported.

Pharmer  could go on past  number ninety nine  until the readers  are bored to tears.
There is extremely poor analysis of risk vs benefit in this article, and this has generated  one more  insane recommendation of preventative “medicine”.

The detrimental advice in the Lancet  leads to a burning question:
Did these two authors get whacked with a ruler by nuns in grade school?

The Early Embryo is Growing and Differentiating, but Gingrich Doesn’t Think It’s Alive Yet

Gingrich Breaks from Some in Anti-Abortion Community on When Life Begins – ABC News.

Newt doesn’t want to give up on embryonic stem cell research, yet, although the front running private research company, Geron has done so. It would be nice if he and the rest of the  candidates could commit to cease wasting public funds on  unethical research which has consistently failed to produce results.

The candidate probably does not want to get into the issue of the morning after pills and the birth control pills, and he’s willing to display ignorance of developmental biology in order to avoid this.  Gingrich might be afraid of losing the birth control pill users by acknowledging   that the life of a sexually reproducing organism begins when it really does.

He was also able to suspend logic, accept the fraud of global warming,  and sit down with Nancy Pelosi in a warm and fuzzy  Environmentalist Whacko ad.

The entire  government could start by acknowledging reality.

Rather than being mis-branded as “contraceptives” the various  hormonal B.C. products  should be called   ‘birth control drugs’, and carry the tag  “This product has multiple mechanisms of action,  and  might  (or is likely to) operate by stopping the life of an early human embryo.”

Oklahoma Mom Refuses Chemo In Order to Save Her Baby

This is the unfettered human maternal instinct, to put the lives of one’s children first. It’s so rare now, as to be newsworthy, and many would criticize it.
Stacie Crimm refused chemo for an aggressive tumor for fear that it would harm her baby. Her child was delivered prematurely. Stacie had only one chance to hold her baby girl prior to her own death. Prayers for her and her family.

Treatment for Infertility, Cash Only In Ottawa?

MercatorNet: Are babies prizes or gifts?.

Margaret Somerville  commented on a contest at an Ottawa, Canada radio station, HOT 89.9.   They offered as a prize, up to three fertility treatments.   Numerous couples submitted short statements explaining why they should be most eligible for such assistance.  In the end, the field was narrowed to five contestants, and all of them “won” the treatments.

People of various views on the life issues are troubled by the contest.

Pharmer, as usual,  gets down to the nitty gritty:

The main problem is not the contest itself, but the fertility treatments, which (depending on the type) frequently  have in their design the idea that babies are objects.   You see…… there is selective reduction.  The parents are convinced (by the docs)  to knock off some of the babies if there  are multiples, to increase the survivability of the remaining one or two.

The type of fertility treatments is not specified, so it could include some procedures which inherently involve killing human embryos.

What most people are saying “yuck” to  is not the killing that so often  accompanies the fertility treatments,  but the exhibitionism.   These five couples may be putting that killing  on display, since they agreed to shed the privacy which usually surrounds the treatments.

Note that the socialized medicine system of Ottawa  is apparently not covering the treatment of the disease of infertility.  That apparently  has to be won in a contest.

California Stops the Ban on Male Infant Circumcision

The most interesting thing about this Reuters article,  concerning the San-Francisco no-circ law being overturned for the second time by the State of California, is the comment section.

See the no-circ people going nutz about the practice of infant circumcision, and foaming at the mouth about the religious underpinnings.

So Pharmer asked them, where to they stand on the issue of removing the entire baby and throwing him into the trash?

Hmmmm?

Did they vote for Obama, who thought it is  ok to do this even after the kid is born?
