Pastors Prepare to Fight IRS Through Pulpit Freedom Sunday | TheBlaze.com.

October 7 is Pulpit Freedom Sunday, in which the Alliance Defending Freedom and numerous other religious organizations are backing this effort.

Many of the pastors send tapes of their sermons to the IRS, attempting to trigger an audit.   The IRS has acted against non profits engaging in politically partisan activity before, but generally shy away before the issue goes to court. The agency fears losing the power to suppress speech by losing their case on constitutional 1st amendment grounds.

Knowing that the IRS does not go after Planned Parenthood for its blatant campaign activity for the Democrats, and Cecile Richards current tour of the swing states for Obama, should bolster the courage of any religious groups and churches which would like to engage in free political speech from the pulpit.

Some courageous Catholic Priests have taken on the task of defending the sanctity of  life in their sermons. This could be interpreted directly as anti-democrat speech since abortion is firmly entrenched in that party’s platform, and Obamacare includes a death panel, (IPAB).   These priests have therefore taken on the IRS, and the current administration itself.

Other members of  of United States Catholic Clergy might shy away from giving their own interpretations of scripture as it impinges upon politics, for fear of  chasing off their congregations. Some of them subscribe to the idea that it’s OK to vote for a politician who supports killing the unborn, the elderly and the disabled, so long as the candidate  promises to redistribute the wealth.  This type of confused thinking  has morphed  from Seamless Garment teaching of Cardinal Joseph Bernardin.

Besides Pulpit Freedom Sunday,  October is Pro Life Month and the Fall  edition of the 40 Days for Life,  is underway.

Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani Reportedly Freed After Three Years in Iranian Prison | TheBlaze.com.

After three years, Iran has finally set Christian Pastor Joucef Nadarkhani free. He was acquitted of apostasy, but convicted of evangelizing to Muslims. The three years he already served in prison were considered enough for the latter charge.

Some are celebrating that justice has been served. Pharmer is very happy that the Pastor Nadarkhani won’t be executed as originally planned, but three years in prison for preaching is not justice.

The Sandra Fluke incident, as well as the leftism, and the need to appease Barack Obama, has removed Georgetown from the list of possible institutions of higher learning for Pharmer’s kids.. Why pour hard earned money into ruining one’s offspring? Here’s another reason to boycott.

Jarrett Roby has suffered stereotyping and discrimination at the hands of Georgetown University’s leftists, for refusing to attend LBGTQ sensitivity training on religious grounds. When he politely voiced his objections to resident advisers at Georgetown’s summer program, rather than just blowing the session off, Mr Roby was falsely accused of violent intent, and rewarded with an escort out of Georgetown by their police. (Had he been a Muslim rather than a Christian, do you think the response would have been different?)

Astonishingly, Jarrett Roby intends to persevere at Georgetown in the fall, though his Community Scholars Program Scholarship has been revoked. Pharmer prays that he avoids the brainwashing, and that he is somehow able to convert them back to Christianity instead.

FRC: Not Much News Because the Massacre was Prevented

Shooter Told Family Research Council: I Don’t Like Your Politics | LifeNews.com.

Imagine the additional charges for hate crime had a conservative shot Floyd Lee Corkins.   The FRC shooter is being charged with assault with intent to kill and for bringing a firearm across state lines.

Corkins fired off shots in the FRC lobby, one of them hitting security guard, Leo Johnson, in the arm.  Mr. Johnson, along with other security guards wrestled Corkins to the ground.  The 28 year old suspect is quoted:  “Don’t shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for.”

Corkins was armed with 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches, a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol, two extra loaded magazines and a box of 50 rounds of ammo. It appears that he had in mind killing more than one person, but perhaps he just had a low opinion of his own marksmanship.

Cops: LGBT Volunteer Shoots Family Research Council’s Security Guard

Cops: LGBT volunteer shoots conservative group's guard – CBS News.

Floyd Corkins II has been arrested for the shooting of a security guard in the lobby of the Family Research Council, a socially conservative group based in Washington DC.

Corkins has been a volunteer at the LGBT Community Center in Washington DC for about a half year. Apparently the FRC’s stance on gay marriage, and in support of Chick-fil-A had served as an irritant to the shooter, although his motive is officially said to be unknown.

The security guard, who has been called a hero by the D.C. police chief, has been hospitalized, in stable condition. He had been shot in the arm when he stopped the gunman in the lobby. He then wrestled the suspect to the ground. The FBI is said to be investigating the incident.

Alcee Hastings was offended when Allen West had Chick-fil-A catered at a Congressional Black Caucus meeting about six months ago.

Everyone was deeply offended says Hastings, though Angela Melvin, a spokesperson for West reports that not a plate of Chick-fil-A food was left after that meeting.

The Huff-Po reports on this event in the light of the latest free speech controversy involving the restaurant chain, though Allen West employed their services a half year earlier.

Massacres Not a Surprise to Authorities.

Massacres are useful for a government which desires more authority and control over the lives of its subjects. Therefore, there is a lack of motivation to use the data which is already available from their already authorized breaches of citizens’ privacy.

The FBI had been tracking Wade Michael Page, the perpetrator of the Sikh temple massacre, for 10 years. He is said to be member of a supposed white supremacist band, and the media, has labeled him as right wing, without actual knowledge. As we know, interviews of white supremacists in the past showed that many are democrat supporters, and therefore not right wing. Michael Page was demoted and discharged from the army.

James Holmes’ psychiatrist alerted the university police that her patient was a potential danger weeks before the Batman massacre took place. For a psychiatrist to get up the nerve to breach patient confidentiality, there has to be a huge indication that the patient is about to do something harmful to himself or others.

“Work Place Violence” perpetrator, Major Nidal Malik, Hasan, (Fort Hood Shooter) was passed up the chain in the Army by departments which wanted to get rid of him, then let loose at Ft. Hood, where the military personnel were not permitted to be usefully armed.  Both the Army and the FBI received sharp criticism in a Senate report for failure to act on obvious warning signs and reports that Hasan was radicalized, and a potential threat.

It’s   time for law enforcement to stop suppressing the free speech of peaceful protestors,  and attend to  the reports they are receiving about people who are truly capable of  mass killing. The politically correct ban on profiling instead has them checking the suprapubic catheters or breast implants of  travelers at airports,  and ignoring what’s in front of their noses.  Unfortunately they are subject to a government which sees terroristic attacks as useful for converting the citizenry into cowering sheep, unable to defend themselves.

Why Would Anyone in the U.S. Shoot Up a Sikh Temple?

A single attacker entered the Sikh Temple in the Oak Creek suburb of Milwaukee, WI, and killed six worshippers before he was killed in gunfire with police, outside the building.
So far, no one knows why he attacked, but plenty of leftists, who wouldn’t be able to distinguish between Sikhs and Muslims, are blaming it on the Tea Party and calling it an Anti-Muslim or Racist Act.
Pharmer supposes that the  attacker must have been thoroughly Bonkers, as well as sociopathic.

Among the victims are Parkash Singh, and Satwant Kaleka (president of the temple). So far the most info is available at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. That news source reports that there are about 3000 Sikh families in S.E. Wisconsin who gather at the Religious Society in Brookfield and the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek. The paper recalls a similar incident in 2005 when Terry Ratzman attacked a gathering of the Living Church of God in Brookville, and killed 7 people as well as himself.

Gay Chick-Fil-A Employees Reveal What It Has Been Like To Work There Lately – Business Insider.

We have some indication that Chick-Fil-A hasn’t been worrying about their employee’s private sex lives in the above article. But worklife is different now. Gays working for the company have been caught in the middle of the leftie war against their company, which was touched off by CEO Dan Cathy’s personal belief about gay marriage.

Apparently the homosexual employees are either getting blamed for hating gays, because of the gay marriage issue, or being thanked for opposition to it.

Some of what they hear is off point and crazy: “I hope you choke on your chicken” and either support or opposition because “your company hates gays”.

The situation of homosexual employees at Chick-fil-A brings home the point that everyone’s lives would be easier, including the those of gays, if the lefties would quit their war on freedom of religion. We notice that the lefties prefer to attack Christians, for opposing gay marriage, while at the same time supporting the sects of Muslims who chop the heads off of homosexuals.

Another case in point: In the U.S. HIV remains largely an affliction of men who have sex with men. Leftie heroes,Obama and Kathleen Sebelius, are working to close down the Catholic Health Care Institutions in the U.S. by insisting that they participate in birth control, sterilizations and abortion. By this means they will be shutting off a large proportion of care for patients with HIV. It’s estimated that world wide, 25% of health programs for HIV patients are provided by the Catholic Church. which has been at the forefront of that mission from the beginning.
