On private call, Republicans say attacking Obama personally is too dangerous: Yahoo News exclusive | The Ticket – Yahoo! News.

Someone at Yahoo News was given an opportunity to listen in on an RNC conference call, warning Republicans to avoid “personal attacks” on Obama.

The RNC  is filled with losers, and it needs  to be cleaned out.   The current crop are most comfortable with their do-nothing positions on the sidelines.

Personal attacks on the most  conservative Republican candidates have been carried out by the Republican National Committee  for years.   The 2010 elections highlighted some of their strongest efforts  against candidates brought by the TEA party, which threatens their power and position.

The RNC, and the candidates they approve, are content to live comfortable lives without the responsibility of  making the necessary government cuts and changes to allow regrowth of the economy.

These are parasites.   Do not feed them.   Exert your efforts directly on behalf of your preferred candidates, your preferred issues, your local TEA party, and  Jim DeMint’s Senate Conservatives Fund.

Texas Physician Pleads Guilty in Whistle-Blowing Nurses Case

Texas Physician Pleads Guilty in Whistle-Blowing Nurses Case.

Medscape carries news of the whistleblowing nurses in TX, Anne Mitchell and Vickilyn Galle.  These two faced all sorts of harassment and even a trial for their part in revealing evidence of malpractice by one Dr. Rolando Arafiles.

The trial of Ann Mitchell RN, for supposed misuse of official information, resulted in aquittal.

On November 7, Arafiles pleaded guilty to misuse of official info, and retaliation against whistleblowers.   He admits to co opting help from the local sheriff and county attorney in going after the nurses.

On Nov 4th Arafiles surrendered his Texas state medical license, rather than having it revoked by the Medical Board.

Nurses Mitchell and Galle also won the settlement of a civil suit against Arafiles,  Sheriff Robert Roberts, Attorney Scott Tidwell, hospital administrator Stan Wiley. The size of this settlement could have allowed the nurses to take off work for perhaps five to ten years depending on their standards of living, were it not for the many costs of sudden unemployment and legal troubles that were  incurred for doing their jobs. All four of these individuals, named in the suit,  also were sentenced to jail time for their offenses.

Sebelius tells Mennonite Insurer To Reverse Rate Hike

Obama tells insurer to reverse rate hike – Washington Times.

Up front, you should know that insurers don’t have to do what Kathleen Sebelius says, but are expected to publicly justify the increases on healthcare.gov.  The Everence report is posted HERE, and mentions that the increase is in response to three years of posting loses on that group of insurance offerings.

Health and Human Services, which can’t do math, is saying that the Everence Insurance company is using national data rather than Pennsylvania data to predict losses.    The company has jacked rates on small group plans affecting about 5000 people.

Why are insurers raising their rates?   With the economy failing, the healthiest people are the most likely to trim health care insurance from their expenses.  This leaves the less healthy ones, who know they have to keep coverage, still on board.  Less income, more costs.
We don’t need the government to control and ruin the health insurance industry. If those affected small groups hate the Everence increase a lot, they’ll shop for cheaper plans. Under the guise of regulating prices, the government is working to kill insurance companies, and force us into a one provider system.

The Sandusky Blitz

What is it? A flavor of ice cream which was offered at the Penn State Creamery until a few days ago.
TheBigLead.com featured a story about the Sandusky Blitz, which is banana flavored, caramel swirl with chocolate covered peanuts. This flavor has been pulled, though the Peachy Paterno flavor remains.
It appears that Sandusky had become a legend at Penn state, from the ice cream evidence, for more than his coaching role.
Also at the Big Lead is another conceptualization of the ultimate dessert in honor of Jerry Sandusky, an image with which Rush Limbaugh regaled his audience, while unknowingly agreeing with Pharmer that MUCH more is to come out of this Penn State Scandal.

Related: Sandusky lives next to an Elementary School, and was released on unsecured bond.

Related: The Citadel Military College in South Carolina has announced a missed opportunity to catch an alleged pedophile, one Louis “Skip” Reville, four years ago. Reville, a principal at Coastal Christian Preparatory School, is currently charged with six felony offenses separate from the offenses reported while he served as a camp counselor at the Citadel (from which he had graduated).

Two Pimps Get Only 10 Years for Sex Trafficking of Minor Slaves

Malcolm Jamal Allen and 23-year-old Devon Sutton get only ten years jail time for their part in trafficking minor girls forced into sex slavery by gangs in Oceanside, San Diego County.
Most of the girls were runaways, forced into prostitution with customers found on social media such as Facebook, Craigslist and Twitter.
Potential sex customers who use these social media to buy this kind of “entertainment” should bear in mind that they are making use of slaves, not women who elect to work as prostitutes.
A longer news feature makes mention of the time it takes to build a case against a sex trafficking ring and the suffering and shame endured by the captives during the many months of investigation.
This particular ring, involving cooperative street gangs, operated a mobile operation which required over 18 months of investigation to make a case sufficiently strong to arrest the pimps. Sex slaves were rescued at various points during the investigation, but many felt too much fear or shame to be easily removed from the control of their pimps.
The burning social question is ‘why do these perpetrators get such short prison sentences?’. The above mentioned Allen and Sutton will be back out in their early thirties to pick up this, or a related trade again.

Jailed border agent’s family warned of massive fine

Jailed border agent’s family warned of massive fine.

Jesus E Diaz was sent to prison for 24 months (in solitary confinement) and fined for lifting the handcuffed arms of an uncooperative  drug smuggling suspect in order to move him.  It was a maneuver taught to the border patrol agents at the Academy, and Diaz had been cleared of any wrongdoing by his superiors, as the suspect was uninjured.

The federal government then prosecuted and convicted him for the  supposed offense of violating the suspects civil rights.  Agent Diaz is now in jail and terminated from his job.  His family has been served with a collection notice for the fines associated with his conviction.

The perpetrator, who was found with 75 lbs of marijuana on his back, was given immunity for his testimony against Diaz.
