Glacial melting panic- Garbage in, Garbage Out

A report on Glacial Melting put out by the The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been exposed as erroneous, and badly done.
It appears that the area of glaciation in the Himalayas has been greatly exaggerated in the report, and that massive melting of non-existent glacier bulk has been predicted by 2035.

Most interesting is the silence of people who immediately recognized the discrepancies in the report, which have only recently been brought to light.

The erroneous predictions of the report are said to originate with a 1999 interview of Syed Hasnain, who currently credits the reporter for supplying the date by which said glacial mass reduction was predicted to occur. Professor Hasnain claimed to have noticed the errors in the IPCC report in 2008 but declined to correct them.
This quote from Hasnain, excusing his failure to question the errors, illustrates the incredible damage done by suppressing dissent and debate in science:
“I was keeping quiet as I was working here,” he said. “My job is not to point out mistakes. And you know the might of the IPCC. What about all the other glaciologists around the world who did not speak out?”
One by one, the claims of the global warming cult are found to be unsubstantiated by data, after much energy has been wasted planning the economic ruin of developed countries, in order to counteract a non-existent problem.

Supremes Undo McCain Feingold Restrictions

In a five to four decision,  the Supreme Court opened up free political speech to everyone, once again giving special interest groups, and corporations, (and pro-lifers) equal footing with the media and unions.

This naturally has the side most favored by media and unions up in arms, wanting to hold congressional hearings to review the Supreme Court decision, and planning new legislation to put themselves back in the position of advantage.

It will be interesting to see how this opens up the political expression in churches, which was heretofore limited to Jeremiah Wright and the renegade Fr.  Michael Pfleger.  This has been suppressed since the Johnson administration, when the IRS took it upon itself to adopt a new regulatory condition for non-profits.

Now the interest is in learning how to self host. The new domain is themorningafter.us . After learning what to do, it is hoped that all links will be preserved, the feeds will redirect, the blog will redirect, and readers will still be able to find this cool conservative stuff and eeeeeeeeeevil humor.

The new host appears to be a free speech advocate, and Pharmer expects to prosper and grow readership.

There might be a hiatus from blogging while the transfer process is being learned and completed.

Michelle Bachman, (whose adrenal glands put out more testosterone than many of the guys in congress are outputting from the usual endocrine source) was dissed by Sen Benedict Arnold Specter in an interview today. Specter doesn’t like a gurl speaking out so forcefully, and told her it wasn’t ladylike. The Politico has stored the interview, linked above.

Note to Sen. Specter……. we KNOW that prosperity won’t be in, or supported, encouraged, or allowed by any of YOUR legislation!

Telling the crowd he received a phone call from President Obama, Brown alluded to his campaign ads featuring his pickup truck, which the president mocked in a campaign stop Sunday.

Let’s hope Scott Brown remembers how he got there, and keeps an ear for the people or else he might develop the same condition as Obama.
