ShahRukh Khan has pulled the drawers down on manufacterers (e.g. Rapiscan Systems, L-3 Communications Holdings Inc, American Science and Engineering), and the government agencies which contracted with them for full body scanning at airports.
The public was assured by government spokespeople that the identities of those scanned would be secret, and the data would be immediately destroyed.
This was proven not to be so when Indian film star, Mr. Khan saw airport employees with printouts, which turned out to be of his body scan. He autographed them for the employees and they were later leaked out on the internet.
From the Prison Planet comes this quote of the actor: “I was a little scared. Something happens [inside the scans], and I came out. Then I saw these girls – they had these printouts. I looked at them. I thought they were some forms you had to fill. I said ‘give them to me’ – and you could see everything inside. So I autographed them for them,”
Khan also had a few words to say about the embarrassment that might be felt by those who are not well equipped physically. After checking some images, it was evident why he might not personally feel as much self consciousness as most others.
Lefties might wish to take note and weigh in on this EXPOSURE of the airport body scan policies.
