It’s against school rules for a student to hug a teacher, and some of those eighth graders are bigger than their instructors.
Ryan Blackmon, now suspended from the Bladenboro Middle School in North Carolina, says that he thanked his teacher for breaking up an impending fight between himself and a fellow student. He claims: “I went to hug her, then she just snatched me up by the arm and drug me to the other teacher and said that I needed to be written up, and that something serious had happened.”
There is no access to the whole story in this matter, so this can just be chalked up as another sad sign of the times.
