Hospital Bans Wife Who Doesn’t Want Husband’s Care Rationed | LifeNews.com.

Arthur Hippe seems to be getting the Terri Schaivo treatment at Ajax Pickering Hospital (West Durham) of the Rouge Valley Health System.

Pharmer knows that there are two sides to every story, but it appears that Mr. Hippe’s wife, Marilyn Nelson, who has power of attorney over her husband’s medical care,  has been banned from the hospital because she disagrees with the palliative care given to her spouse.  He’s been losing weight precipitously since the “care” at the hospital given for his stroke.  He’s paralyzed on his left side, and has impaired speech, and has been put on Zyprexa and Haldol.  (Normally Zyprexa is  associated with weight gain, if the person is allowed to be awake enough to eat.)

For her contention that her husband should be in rehabilitative care, Marilyn Nelson has been totally banned from the hospital, and has recently been given two hour visitation periods, per day with no privacy.

Under the care of Dr. Carmen Price,  Arthur Hippe’s weight is said to have  dropped from 190 to  an 100 lb estimate attributed to statements from the hospital staff.

Sometimes there is a reason to ban relatives of patients  from the hospital, but it appears that the local police have found no reasons for banning Ms. Nelson.  Seniors at Risk has taken up her cause, and lawyers have been attempting to intervene on her behalf for the care of her husband.

Senator Diane Feinstein, chairwoman of the Senate “intelligence” committee has acknowledged that national security leaks are coming out of the White House. She  does  not go so far as to state that Obama orchestrated them, in his need to portray himself as tough on terrorism.

Atty. Gen. Eric Holder is leading the non-investigation.  Expect no results.

A donation to the Pharm:   Lefties are entertaining  themselves by claiming that Obama got the idea for his biggest socialist gaffe from Mitt Romney. Normal people are amused that the leftists could not distinguish between the amateur athletes, whose training usually starts in childhood, and adult business people who are making a living through their own efforts.

There was quite a difference between the Olympic athletes addressed by Romney, and those entrepreneurs  who were told by Obama that someone else did that for them.

Breitbart’s Awr Hawkins  has caught the flaming metrosexual, Mayor Bloomberg, hysterically whining about gun rights on the Piers Morgan Show, in response to the Batman Massacre.

Bloomers suggests that police should all go on strike until Americans give up their guns.

Bloomberg flames: “I would take it one step further. I don’t understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up, collectively, and say, ‘We’re going to go on strike. We’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe.”

Pharmer replies:    The police are for cleaning up the mess after the crime is committed.  In the majority of cases, police do not arrive in time to stop a crime in progress.
Mayor Bloomberg,  I prefer that gun rights would be respected everywhere, and that your NYC police go on strike as you suggest.

With the economy in collapse, private contributions and federal and state funding being pinched, the higher educational institutions are in DEEP DOO DOO.  Like so many others, they built houses that they can’t afford.

The children’s entertainment company which brings you the Muppets is ending its partnership with Chick-fil-A  due to the  latter company’s  CEO supporting  Traditional Marriage.

Henson’s company has been a supporter of Gay Marriage, and the money which it has obtained through partnership to Chick-fil-A will be donated to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation- GLAAD.

Eat more Chicken!

With such a strong stance against Traditional Marriage, perhaps the Jim Henson Company is not a suitable purveyor of entertainment to very young children.

Woman dies after abortion at Planned Parenthood clinic – Chicago Sun-Times.

24 year old Tonya Reaves of N. Kildare, Chicago,  died on Friday 7/20/12 following an abortion procedure at the Planned Parenthood clinic at 18 S. Michigan Avenue.     The autopsy revealed  hemorrhage following cervical dilation and evacuation of intrauterine pregnancy  to be a contributing cause, and the Coroner has ruled the death to be an accident.

Would the CDC please take note of this?

The above news story exemplifies the use of misoprostil alone in late term abortion.  Misoprostil (Cytotec) is a prostaglandin drug which causes uterine contractions and is used off label to induce labor.

The most common chemical abortion regimen utilizes mifepristone, a selective progestin receptor modulator, followed by misoprostil, to expel the embryo or fetus.

Planned Parenthood employs a regimen in which only a third of the recommended mifepristone is used, along with a large dose of misoprostil.    This is considered sufficiently effective, as the misoprostil will expel the unborn human dead or alive.

The woman in this Daily Mail story is said to have  killed her baby a week before full term, using misoprostil, which she bought online, to expel the baby.  At the time of writing, no one knows the location of the baby’s corpse.

Penn State Nittany Lions hit with $60 million fine, 4-year bowl ban, wins dating to 1998 – ESPN.

The NCAA has acted on the report from Louis Freeh, which outlines the role of Joe Paterno and other Penn State officials in covering up Coach Jerry Sandusky’s sexual abuse of boys.

With heretofore unheard of speed and severity, the NCAA has slapped the Penn State football team with a 60 million dollar fine,  a collection of financially crippling sanctions, and redaction of Paterno’s wins since 1998. A former chairman of the committee on infractions has stated that the NCAA normally does not intervene  in criminal matters involving college sports personnel.

Countless uninvolved parties will share in the burden and costs incurred by the actions of a select few individuals.  Pharmer expects  this  60 million dollar ruling  to make the NCAA and many lawyers richer, while it makes students poorer.

Lawsuits by any affected parties, to appeal  this ruling, are likely futile, because the University has admitted culpability and signed onto the  consent decree  of NCAA penalties  with no objections and agreed that there would be no legal recourse.

Recent high profile cases of child sex slavery have led  the British Parliament to an ‘urgent  investigation’ of the UK Child Care system.   A preliminary report declares  the Child Care program to be unfit.  Police estimate that 10,000 kids go missing each year, though the government reported only 930 cases last year.

A propensity for children to be housed in bad neighborhoods,  far from home is leading to increased cases of runaways, and sexual abuse.

The report revealed that within the child protection system, “it is often acceptable for adults engage in sex with children as long as it is “consensual”.”
