Perhaps They Hope He’ll Do It Again

Mental hospital wants to release failed Reagan assassin John Hinckley Jr. – CNN.com, to live near his 85 year old mother.

While he’s on drugs, he probably lacks energy for planning an assassination, but once Hinckley (now 56)  is off his meds, he’ll probably find someone else to shoot.

Who’s whackier, the patients or the administrators at that hospital?

Operating St. Elizabeth’s  under the threat of Obama care has probably driven the hospital administrators stark raving mad.

Pharmer sez:  Hinckley needs to stay locked up.

Government lawyers objected to the request for the release saying: “There is recent evidence of deception toward his treating physicians as well as narcissism, both of which are significant risk factors for future violence.”

Deception and narcissism……… that sounds like most of our elected officials!

One of the shooting victims apparently has been convinced by the media rhetoric blaming the Teaparty for Loughner’s shootings.  Eric J. Fuller was hospitalized for two days for wounds  in  his knee and back.   He went to a  memorial gathering on Saturday,   photographed the speaker, Trent Humphries and threatened him, saying ” You’re dead”.

So… Mr.  Fuller has been committed  for this act, done in full view of the public and media cameras,  and is  undergoing psychiatric evaluation.

Don’t you think the media should tone down its rhetoric, blaming people to whom Loughner was not listening, for his crimes?

Lefties and Giffords’ Father Accuse the Tea Party

But Jared Lee Loughner, who critically wounded Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, and killed or injured many others,  does not fit that profile.

Coming from ABC:


In the same video, Loughner accuses the government of mind control.

“In conclusion, reading the second United States Constitution, I can’t trust the current government because of the ratifications: The government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar. No! I won’t pay debt with a currency that’s not backed by gold and silver! No! I won’t trust in God!” it says.

In the YouTube profile, the account holder, identified as Loughner, lists “The Communist Manifesto” and “Mein Kampf” among his favorite books.

Amazing that even ABC has put a pointer on what really is Loughner’s problem.

Meanwhile the Lefties (who, if they were normal, could have cooler heads) are echoing Spencer Giffords’  emotional outburst.

Spelling the main point out,  in case a leftie reads this…..  Teapartiers wouldn’t list Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto as their favorite reads.

The leftist moral tenet that criminal profiling is wrong,  as well as the seeming incapability for analytical thought,  will continue to cause   more untimely deaths.
