Brave New World: Australia has introduced a bill to allow children to consent to sterilization. It also allows children 12 years and older to independently consent to psychosurgery and electroshock. This is a cost containment effort, to mitigate the burden of mental health care on the socialized medicine system.

Tea Party comes to Australia | The Australian.

David Goodridge, a member of the movement (the website editor) states that the Australian Tea Party will not be an additional political party, but will influence those that already exist.

Their special words for their new PM’s administration:  “Gillard’s Labor Government: a unique form of Mussolini’s Corporatist model set to an Australian context”.
