This 2008 Presidential Award of Freedom Winner is Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins hospital. Dr. Carson’s three point plan is built around a medical savings account that returns control of health care back to the patients.
Dr Carson also spoke against the dangers of political correctness. Below is his speech. LISTEN UP!!
What the IRS thinks that a small family will be paying for Obamacare in 2016 is availableon page 56 of this government generated document. Please pass this link to every “low information voter” you know, particularly those living in the blue states.
If you have a small family, do you think that $20,000 dollars per year to pay for health care insurance alone is “affordable”??? Do you think that this is an improvement over your current health insurance situation?
This IRS document actually deals with the criteria for determining how much penalty would be paid by those who choose not to buy health insurance. The examples given in the document, specify some estimates of costs of health care policies for individuals and for families.
People who are undecided about voting for Obama a second time will be able to make up their minds if they listen to this collection of his own words and decisions. Please grab it up from Youtube and pass it on.
You can listen to Kathleen Sebelius lie about Obamacare, and resell to the dems, something that the majority of Americans do not want.
The most important thing to take away from her speech is the view that WOMANHOOD is a PRE-EXISTING CONDITION. A pre-existing condition is the insurance term for a DISEASE, already present, which would not be covered under a new health insurance contract until a grace period had passed. HIPAA regulations had pretty much removed contractual barrier to health care coverage.
The dem’s plan is focused on treating the biological characteristics of a woman as a disease. The dems see childbearing as a thing which must be controlled and suppressed with drugs and sterilization for the purpose of cost containment.
Says Sebelius: “Being a mother is no longer a liability, and being a woman is no longer a pre-existing condition! That’s what change looks like.”
Unmentioned is that the necessary cost containment which comes with treating womanhood as a disease, is that the government will have control over the expression of said characteristic.
As in China, there will be the need, for top down administration of your reproductive life. If the government pays for it, the government will dicatate it, just as it does with everything else it controls.
Obama is rapidly shedding female votes, as more and more of them ponder the prospect of Chinese-style health care for women. His loss of support in recent polling is almost totally accounted for by the women who are changing their minds.
Don’t for get that Sebelius views woman-hood as a pre-existing condition, which the government must manage.
Freedom isn’t free. If reproductive autonomy is worth the price of heath care to you, Obama is not your man.
Joe Soptic is an O-Bot. This is why he’s blaming Mitt Romney, (whose employer kept his GST, Kansas City, steel factory alive a few years longer), for killing his wife Ranae. What Joe won’t realize is that the person he supports for president has a death panel waiting for him. That will be his final reward for trusting in the lies of leftists.
It would appear that Soptic’s actually fell victim to those liberal lies, that 20 of the population has no access to health care. She might have suspended medical treatment for herself due to a false belief that she couldn’t get medical care. She waited until her last days to find out that it actually was available.
Unmentioned in the ad below is that Joe’s wife Ranae actually had her own insurance at Saver’s Thrift store and carried it for possibly 1 to 2 years after her husband’s employer went bankrupt, until she was laid off. She actually died in 2006, years after Joe was laid off. He held a part time job as a custodian.
At the time of her death, there were 30,000 in hospital bills. Joe contributed 12,000 from a savings account and the hospital wrote the remainder off. The Conservative Review provides a timeline:
1993- Bain Capital acquires GST Steel Plant
1999- Romney gets paid leave of absence from Bain to run the Olympics of 2002
2001- GST’s Bankruptcy
2002- Joe Soptic is laid off from GST and takes a custodial job with much lower salary
2006- Ranae Soptic goes to the hospital ostensibly for pneumonia, and lung cancer is discovered. She dies a short time later.
Who was running Bain when GST went under? Obama fund bundler Jonathan Lavine!! He’s still the managing director and Chief Investments Officer. Obama is accepting political contributions from Bain capital employees.
-Given the actual timeline, Joe Soptic should perhaps acknowledge his own possible negligence as contributory to his wife’s untimely death.
-What would Obama have for the uninsured people in the Soptic’s situation? Apparently a FINE, if they couldn’t afford health insurance, but certainly not better care then they COULD have accessed prior to 2006, had they not swallowed the liberal lies about access to health care.
$500 billion represents a slowdown of the growth of medicare over 12 years, Sebelius says.
How do you think that medicare growth will slow down, particularly with the baby boomers entering that phase of life?
Through killing off the elderly by means of the worst shortages of meds for critical care that we’ve ever seen, through the “unintended” consequences of HIPAA “privacy protections” and through direct rationing of care…. just thought you ought to know.
In addition, Sebelius reveals double counting of the “savings” as revealed in this hearing, and questioning by Rep. Shimkus of Illinois.
Pharmer’s going to be featuring some articles describing what is seen in the hospitals in the past couple of years……….. ever worsening shortages of chemotherapeutic and injectable drugs. This has become a severe public health problem due to inability to treat some cancers, and unnecessary deaths due to unavailable treatments or errors involving drugs used as substitutes.
Pharmer thinks this problem has several underlying causes : supply and demand, need to import raw materials, economic pressures, taxes, outsourcing, government incompetence, an increasingly useless FDA, natural selection, and death panel philosophy.
The last factor curbs government enthusiasm for addressing the drug shortage problem vigorously. Increased deaths lighten the load on social security, medicare and medicaid, and therefore the shortages become a means of obamacare cost control.
In Florida, the U.S. District Court Judge, Roger Vinson, struck down Obamacare as unconstitutional.
This ruling is broader than the previous decision (Richmond Virginia Federal District Court) marking the provision to force citizens to purchase insurance as unconstitutional. Also the list of plaintiffs in this case include about half of the states, so that this decision has more influence.
Judge Vinson did not stay his ruling, so that it has influence even while the inevitable appeals by the Obama administration take place. This (HOPEFULLY) will cork up the preliminary measures leading up to full implementation of the debacle in 2014.
Sharon Willoughby and Richard Sum are considering action against Kings Mill Hospital in Nottinghamshire, for a maltreatment they and their baby recieved this past November.
Their baby, now 10 weeks old was delivered into a toilet after Willoughby’s cries for help were ignored by staff. They had given her labor inducing drugs, but, the patient says, she had not been examined for progress of the birth.
Sum fished the baby out of the toilet. Their cries and pages for help went unanswered for 15 more minutes because the nurses ‘thought she was asking for tea’. Sum helped baby and mom back into the hospital room, then had to leave them to summon assistance.
Willoughby required a transfusion due to blood loss, and remained in the hospital for three more days.
Pharmer would also like to bring up the fact that nearby hospitals had to be receiving Gosnell’s patients, and their ER staffs had to be aware that he was an abysmal practitioner. Botched abortions, incomplete abortions, infections, etc. all find their way into the neighboring hospitals, and after a time, the causative agent develops a negative reputation with police, paramedics, EMTs and emergency department staff. One of the dampening influences which prevent such abominations from coming to the attention of authorities is fear of HIPAA sanctions. Was this, (as well as the isolation of other hospitalized patients from their social support system), an intentional thing, or an unintended consequence of HIPAA regulations?
Abortion is a self feeding system of negativity that drives standards of care downward in every institution that it touches.
People who do abortions represent the substandard of health care. Abortion has invaded obstetrics and gynecology, and every institution which is touched by abortion has experienced decreased quality of staff and decreased quality of care.
Both abortion and euthanasia are cheap and easy ways to remove problems by eliminating the victims. Innovation in medicine has been driven by compassion for people who suffer with certain disorders and illnesses. When those people are killed off through abortion or euthanasia that impetus for innovation is removed. Additionally the killing erodes public trust in health care professionals. The force of life and creativity is attenuated and humanity devolves.
