Getting to Know Planned Parenthood through its founder

Hat tip to Tamminator at Hillbuzz who tells us that planned unparenthood has gotten itself into a Los Angeles high school, where it can pollute the kids, dispense birth control, and refer for abortions, all without parental intervention. Planned unparenthood can employ its trademark chemical and abortive methods for regulating the population of the mostly Latino student body of Roosevelt High School from within the facility.

Politico Presents a Pornified Obama

Obama’s joke? –

Byron Tau, of the Politico perceived this statement made by Obama at a Los Angeles  LGBT Leadership Council fundraiser  in Beverley Hills on Wednesday night, as a joke.

From the Pool Report:

“Michelle outdoes me in pushups as well,” he said, after saying that she’s taken some criticism on her technique “because she doesn’t go all the way down” – a line that he let hang, naughtily, provoking laughter from the crowd.”

Obama quote from the transcript given at the Guardian:  by Oliver Burkeman

“I want to thank my wonderful friend [Ellen DeGeneres] who accepts a little bit of teasing about Michelle beating her in pushups – (laughter) – but I think she claims Michelle didn’t go all the way down. (Laughter.) That’s what I heard. I just want to set the record straight – Michelle outdoes me in pushups as well. (Laughter.) So she shouldn’t feel bad. She’s an extraordinary talent and she’s just a dear, dear friend – Ellen DeGeneres. Give Ellen a big round of applause.”

Mr Burkeman appeared to think that the remark was not intended to be nasty, and that  Americans are dirty minded.   However,  the Politico is a news organ of the WhiteHouse, and it is the vehicle by which this little gaffe was brought to our attention.

Buzzfeed votes with Politico on the matter, and the world is aTwitter with the news.

Obama needs to stick with his teleprompter. Every verbal blunder and misstep is going to be magnified from now until November.

Update: a video of the double entendre is below, along with Obama media apologists trying to take back what the Politico initially presented.

Teeny Preemie, 290 Grams At Birth, Will Go Home With Mom Soon

‘Touch and Go’ Extreme Preemie Could Be Home by New Years | Video |

Melinda Star Guido was born at 24 weeks gestation, a bit small for her age, at 290 grams.   She’s the second smallest preemie in the U.S. to be heading home, though she doesn’t go officially on record as a survivor until early January, when she’s slated to leave the hospital.  Melinda was due on Dec 15th (today), at which time she has grown to 8 times her birth weight.

Fraternity Antics — Nothing New Here

There are headlines at Drudge about some recent  sexual, exhibitionist  antics at USC, Los Angeles, involving a frat boy.  School officials are pretending to be “appalled” by the incident.

More Fraternity fun and other sexual harassment is being investigated at Yale, as causing a “hostile sexual environment. This was attributed to administrative neglect concerning various incidents, both public and private.

The behavior is nothing new.  Not all, but a huge portion of the ‘Greek system’  has been nasty for many decades.

Abortionist Loses License, Killed Woman in Failed Abortion |

Practitioner Loses License, Killed Woman in Failed Abortion |

Andrew Rutland, a 67  yo  Los Angeles abortionist has agreed to give up his license for the second time.  This time his troubles result  from killing patient Ying Chen in a failed abortion attempt.

The patient suffered cardiac arrest, subsequent to the administration of anaesthesia medication,   was hospitalized and died six days later.

Overdose of anaesthesia was blamed for the death.  One could not expect abortionists to know the vagaries (pharmacogenomics) of dosing drugs to patients of various sizes and different races. Of course that info is vital to avoiding overdoses, but those practitioners are not held to the standards of usual competency. Pennsylvania abortionist Kermit Gostnell had similar troubles with dosing the anaesthesia in patient Karnamaya Mongar, who died after repeated doses  of meperidine caused a heart arrhythmia.

Rutland had lost his license the first time after the death of Jillian Broussard, a newborn whose spinal cord he severed during a forceps delivery.

Ying Chen’s family has filed a wrongful death suit against Rutland.
