Pharmer is back from being snowed in at Nocturnal Rx  (that unnamed employer).   It was better to sleep in on a  bed in rehab than to drive to and from  the Indiana pharm in the “level 3” snow emergency.

With multiple snowstorms pelting much of the U.S.  it appears that the Creator is reminding Al Gore and the global warming acolytes Who is really in charge.   It’s getting deeper and deeper here in  S.E. Hoosierland, surpassing the last February snowfall record set in  1914.

Meanwhile, the U.S. mainstream  media is assiduously ignoring as Phil Jones, the recently deposed  high priest of global warming at East Anglia University, recants many  of his earlier claims, and admits that he has lost pertinent data due to an inability to keep information organized.

Not to worry……. journalists in the UK are many more years burned out on the Climate change garbage, and are filling the gaping holes left by the news media in the U.S.

Cheney to Ruin Obama’s Weekend

Shortly after Obama and Biden have taken credit for the Bush policy in Iraq, the surge, and the resultant strengthening of Iraq’s elected government, former VP Dick Cheney will appear on ABC “This Week” to correct the misperceptions.

As we recall, both Obama and Biden spoke repeatedly against Bush’s Iraq war effort, opposed General Petraeus,  opposed the troop surge, and declared the war a loss.

Lately there has been a sudden turnaround, with the Obama administration wishing to take credit for victory in Iraq. Those of us, with any  political memory at all, can recognize this blatant lie.  For those without the memory,  Pharmer is happy to supply a few links and a bit of video.

The coming week will be interesting as Obama’s administration is forced to respond to Cheney’s criticisms once more.   Pharmer appreciates that Cheney has seen fit to sacrifice hope of a peaceful retirement,  remind people of the facts, and goad the current administration regarding its weak foreign policy.

» Taliban Rape Tapes: from Big Journalism

Here’s the link and Pharmer  recommends that you consider not downloading the  video  onto your computer, expecially at work.

» Taliban Rape Tapes: A ‘Muslim Abu Ghraib’ – Big Journalism.

This is so disgusting as to have the Muslims inspired to assiduous self cleaning, and taking down  the Haqqanis,  an essential inner  element of Al Qaida and the Taliban of  Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Haqqanis, particularly Siraj had a rape-porn operation, which was  later covered up by murdering all those involved, including the rape victims.    Both  of these offenses are considered unforgivable in the eyes of Muslims.    Expect much violent scrubbing now that this scandal has come to light.

Bill Nye : the guy abandons science

Bill Nye “the science guy” stated that those who question the idea of  anthropogenic climate change are unpatriotic, during an interview with Rachel Maddow.

Without mentioning the scandals of falsified data coming from East Anglia University, and use of unsubstantiated, and bogus sources which have caused notoriety for the IPCC,  Nye stated that the latter groups  report must be believed since it won a scientific prize from the Nobel committee.

Ummmmm, that was a peace prize shared between Algore and the IPCC in 2007, not a prize in science.   Not kidding…  a PEACE prize for bogus science.

There is only one recommendation regarding Bill Nye………… turn off your television.   If he hallucinates this badly regarding global warming / climate change, he cant be trusted to convey scientific ideas and information accurately.   He appears not to understand the scientific method nor the spirit of inquiry which fuels it.

Nurse Faces Trial for Reporting Physician’s Bad Practice

Nurse Anne Mitchell should have signed her letter to the Medical Board reporting inappropriate medical practices of one  Dr. Rolando G. Arafiles Jr, since it appears to have fallen under the purview of her specialized job functions.

Other than that, it appears that she and her colleague Vickilyn Galle did the right thing in reporting some rather odd medical practices of Dr. Arafiles.

The sheriff of the town appears to be satisfying personal obligations to the physician  in filing this criminal case, as he credits Arafiles with saving his life after a heart attack.

Charges against Galle have been dropped, however Mitchell’s trial is set for this week on charges of misusing official information for non governmental purposes, a 3rd degree felony in her state of Texas.

Mitchell and Galle were fired without explanation from Winkler County Memorial Hospital, where ironically they served most recently as compliance and quality improvement officers.   One might conclude that they were directly dismissed for doing their jobs, something with which Pharmer has prior  experience.

Nurse and professional associatations are outraged, and have amassed a $40,ooo dollar legal fund for the nurses.   A civil countersuit against the sheriff, prosecutor, hospital, and physician has been filed by Mitchells lawyers.

Read more  at NYT …. and there will be an effort to link further info as this case proceeds.

Texas Nurses Association is following this story as it unfolds.

The final result: aquittal

Indian Film Star Exposes the Airport Body Scanners

no need for self consciousness

ShahRukh Khan has pulled the drawers down on manufacterers  (e.g.  Rapiscan Systems,  L-3 Communications Holdings Inc, American Science and Engineering),  and the government agencies which contracted with them for full body scanning at airports.

The public was assured by government spokespeople  that the identities of those scanned would be secret, and the data would be immediately destroyed.

This was proven not to be so when Indian film star, Mr. Khan saw airport employees with printouts, which turned out to be of his body scan.  He autographed them for the employees and they were later leaked out on the internet.

From the Prison Planet comes this quote of the actor:    “I was a little scared. Something happens [inside the scans], and I came out. Then I saw these girls – they had these printouts. I looked at them. I thought they were some forms you had to fill. I said ‘give them to me’ – and you could see everything inside. So I autographed them for them,”

Khan also had a few words to say about the embarrassment that might be felt by those who are not well equipped physically.  After checking some images,  it was evident why he might not personally feel as much self consciousness as most others.

Lefties might wish to take note and weigh in on this EXPOSURE of the airport body scan policies.
