No Mammograms at Planned Parenthood

Jill Stanek does it again……. she has found that Planned Parenthood will tell you where to go to get a mammogram, but does not provide any.

This is extremely important during the period in which Planned Parenthood is blitzing the media with claims about services lost if that organization is defunded. Visits to their sites show interesting things. Many of the clinics dispense drugs, but they do not offer mammograms off site.

Also planned parenthood refers patients who cannot pay through medicaid, insurance or cash to actual free services ELSEWHERE. This is seen on the collection of Live Action videos which have been featured at this blog during February. Scroll down.

This news makes sense since mammograms are not really a profit center to those health care providers and institutions which provide the service. The third party reimbursement is not very good. Pharmer had always thought that planned parenthood would offer the service at a few of their clinics as a draw to customers, and to justify the claims that they offer comprehensive care to women. But it seems that these claims are simply unfounded and the justification for obtaining grant funds from the Komen Foundation does not exist.

So……… Pharmer has an appointment at the squish machine tomorrow, but it won’t be at planned parenthood. Wouldn’t be caught dead going to one of their facilities for services, even if they actually did offer mammograms.

Union Demonstration in Ohio

So many good websites……… so little time. Look at Truth About Bills. These fine people bring you the following video of a classy union guy, discussing the SB 5 rally in Ohio.

This video might offend  if you are sensitive to the language used in R rated movies.   The star of this video knows no other kind.  (Plus, Pharmer thinks he’s a little trashed.)

If President Palin Decided Not to Enforce a Law, She Would Be Impeached

Gingrich: If Palin Took Obama Actions, There Would Be Calls for Impeachment.

First of all, get used to the idea of “President Palin” .

Then remember that the executive branch of government is supposed to enforce existing laws, not decide whether or not they’re constitutional.  That job goes to the courts if the laws are challenged.

Sooo  check out what Gingrich (quoted at Newsmax)   has to say about what would happen if a Republican did what Obama is doing.

“Imagine that Governor Palin had become president. Imagine that she had announced that Roe versus Wade in her view was unconstitutional and therefore the United States government would no longer protect anyone’s right to have an abortion because she personally had decided it should be changed. The news media would have gone crazy. The New York Times would have demanded her impeachment.”

WaPo: History Made! Whitehouse has Gaydar

44 – Obama makes history with social secretary pick.

Of uppermost importance to the Washington Post is not the political and career credentials of Jeremy Bernard.  Top most in the headlines and in the article is Bernard’s sexual preference.   Incidentally, his topmost pertinent accomplishments are probably in the area of Obama fundraising.

In times past, history was made by accomplishments, and these were highlighted, with the personal lives of our renowned heros something that had had to be dug up by those with interest in the matter.

Now the personal life is on top, with the accomplishments a bare footnote.

We see what’s most important to the left.

We also see why gay people who can see the whole picture have turned conservative.   Those with brains prefer the society with an economy that could sustain them, and in which they could keep their heads.

Down the road from Obama…… an economy and obamacare which can’t sustain gays, and a theocratic political system which has shown a propensity for chopping off the heads of homosexuals.

Obama needs to come out of the closet.  He chooses these symbolic means of supporting his interest in gay rights, rather than overtly coming out in their favor.   His fear of coming out  has led him into constitutional issues, as he has been picking and choosing which laws to enforce. The executive branch is supposed to enforce all of them.

From What We Hear, This is Not Nearly Enough for a Dem to Leave Office

Rep. David Wu apologizes for erratic behavior – On Politics: Covering the US Congress, Governors, and the 2012 Election – USATODAY.com.

David Wu, of Oregon’s first congressional district has caused some concerns with a bit of erratic behavior lately.  Some are asking him to step down.    Pharmer thinks that saying a few weird things and sending pics of oneself in a tiger costume is pretty benign.  Dems are kept in office after doing MUCH WORSE than Congressman Wu.

Whack-jobs who could not be pried out of office before they assumed  room temperature:  Teddy Kennedy,  Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank,  Chris Dodd, Charlie Rangel, and on and so forth….
