Americans Are On Drugs

One in four American women take medication for a mental disorder | Mail Online.

The number of people in the US taking drugs for mental disorders is increasing, with 26% of American women taking the meds in 2010. Also with the health care crunch, it’s cheaper to go on drugs than to obtain other kinds of behavioral therapy.

The economy probably hasn’t helped people’s moods, and now they need SSRIs to replace the shopping.

There’s also the cocoa/chocolate  shortage and ballooning coffee prices…

The regional break down is interesting to see, with southern regions coming in quite high on the scale.  Many of them are non-drinkers, and that is likely associated with increased interest in benzodiazepines.

The western areas come in the middle of the range, but they have many non prescription drug substitutes available, as well as medical weed, which does not count in this category of mental health meds.

On the lowest  end of the scale is Pharmer’s region, but of course we have increased chocolate seeking behavior.

‘I can’t give you the morning-after pill… it’s against my religion’ – Local – Hartlepool Mail

‘I can’t give you the morning-after pill… it’s against my religion’ – Local – Hartlepool Mail.

Another conscientious Boots Pharmacist acts up.   A 29 year old female patient, who desired to remain anonymous, was refused the morning after pill at a Boots pharmacy in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, Hartlepool, UK.

She left the pharmacy in a state of shock, and was apparently  not able to get her pills until two days later.

Boots pharmacies has dealt with this issue before, and their spokesman acknowledges that the employees have a right to exercise conscientious objection, in refusing to dispense certain drugs.

The above linked article fails to recognize the manufacturer’s  stated multiple mechanisms of the morning after pills, and dishonestly states only  that they operate  to “stop the ovaries from releasing eggs”.

Cincinnati Funds Planned Parenthood Covering Up Child Rape | LifeNews.com.

Cincinnati’s Board of Health could find no better provider than Planned Parenthood for its program of HIV testing and prevention.    An $85,000 dollar grant is going to the same Planned Parenthood affiliate which was sued for failure to comply with Ohio’s informed consent law with respect to abortion procedures.

Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio is recognized for the two lawsuits stemming from its failure to notify authorities concerning abortions for  minor females, in whom pregnancy is evidence of statutory rape at the very least.  The men causing the pregnancies in both of these cases have jail time for their crimes.

Gross- Kid and Teen Store Selling the Wrong Panties

There is a new Kids and Teens Store in Greeley Mall, in Greeley Colorado, which opened a couple weeks ago with highly age INappropriate items in the inventory. It’s not on the mall listing yet. Near the backpacks and the princess dresses were crotchless panties which a shopper, Erin French, photographed with her cell phone, so we’d all know that she’s not kidding.
Pressure from shoppers and mall management has caused the store to pull the inventory, which they said was more directed at (very tiny) teens.

E-Mails Suggest Solyndra Pushed Layoff Notices Past Elections – Amy Harder – NationalJournal.com

E-Mails Suggest Solyndra Pushed Layoff Notices Past Elections – Amy Harder – NationalJournal.com.

You remember Solyndra, the solar energy company which got a half billion dollar loan from the government, then filed bankruptcy?

While they were in their death throes, the folks at Solyndra were wanting to lay off some of the work force but were advised to delay such notices until after the 2010 election day.

In addition their government loan was restructured to allow private investors ahead of taxpayers in order of priority for repayment. Inquiring minds at the   House Energy and Commerce Committee wonder if this was legal.  It’s of particular curiosity as taxpayers are now stuck for most of that $535 million dollar loan.

Solyndra filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Sept of this year.

From the National Journal:  ““They did push very hard for us to hold our announcement of the consolidation to employees and vendors to Nov. 3—oddly, they didn’t give us a reason for that date,” states an October 2010 e-mail exchange between advisers for Argonaut Private Equity, the top investor in Solyndra that was founded by George Kaiser, an Oklahoma oil billionaire who bundled campaign donations for presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008.”

Pedophile Protectors

Penn State, Paterno, and Planned Parenthood – Jill Stanek.

It’s a time for appropriate alliterations.   Click above for one of the very best comments on the Penn State Scandal, placed in proper context.

The media is screaming about Penn State covering up the *alleged crimes of Joe Sandusky.  But they support Planned Parenthood, an established pedophile protector.   The government is fully invested in the mission of  planned parenthood to the extent of forcing us to pay for it, and holding all other health care hostage for their sacrament of abortion.

Coach McQueary is being flogged for failing to report Sandusky to the police immediately.  He claims that he did discuss it with campus police, however. Pharmer is not so judgmental regarding McQueary because the guy probably was in shock and was not immediately sure if his eyes were telling him the truth.  He was a grad student at the time, not a medical practitioner, and apparently NOT  a kiddie porn user.  Pedophilia is not part of everyone’s life experience.   Most of the same people who castigate McQueary have been voting to support planned parenthood for years.

Pharmer sees major hypocrisy in the media, every time she looks.

Kagan to Tribe on Day Obamacare Passed: ‘I Hear They Have the Votes, Larry!! Simply Amazing.’ | CNSnews.com

Kagan to Tribe on Day Obamacare Passed: ‘I Hear They Have the Votes, Larry!! Simply Amazing.’ | CNSnews.com.

Emails from Justice Elena Kagan  to Harvard’s Laurence Tribe contain  written evidence that she is not neutral on the issue of Obamacare, and was very happy that it passed.

Kagan is being asked to recuse herself from the Supreme Court decision on the constitutionality of Obamacare, particularly a government requirement that people have to purchase health care insurance.

Despite the evidence, Neither Tribe nor Kagan felt that there is any reason for people to doubt her impartiality, per their written answers to CBS questions on the matter.
