Dr Terry Lakin Rejected by Kansas Medical Board

It’s a random act of journalism! Click above for a video worth watching. KCTV5 skewers the Kansas Medical Board for denying former Army Lt. Colonel Terrence Lakin a license to practice in that state. Lakin has a very clean medical record after 18 years practice around the world with the military. He’s the conscientious objector who laid down his career, was court martialed and jailed for questioning the validity of Obama as commander in chief. Colorado and Maryland do not find this a problem with respect to Dr. Lakin’s medical licensure, but Kansas does.

The medical board questioned Lakin not on his medical credentials, but this birther issue, and rejected him on that basis.
Lakin will not be able to practice with his brother in Wichita Kansas (where the infamous George Tiller killed late term unborn babies). However a neurologist who did brain surgery on the wrong patient, inflicting permanent damage has been accepted, according to KCTV5.

Hilarious! Someone got the bright idea to let prison inmates handle printing the decals used on Vermont State Police cars. It’s a lovely design, showing the state seal, featuring a pastoral scene. The included cow has a little alteration of spots, missed by inspectors of the finished products. Now at least 30 police cruisers have one or two door decals featuring this mutant bovine, with a PIG SHAPED SPOT on its shoulder. Click the above link for the pic, which is copyrighted. Pfizer Recalls Birth-Control Pills – WSJ.com.

Pfizer recalls Birth Control Pills: Lo/Ovral-28 and the generic Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets due to a packaging error. Over a million dose-packs are recalled, but the company states a belief that only 30 packs are affected. One user alerted the company on Oct 19, that her blister pack had a pink (inactive) pill where a white (active pill should have been. The recall was announced at the end of January.

The recall has the ambulance chasers drooling and people wondering how to blame their pregnancies on the drug manufacturer, regardless of the real reason for failure.

The FDA lists the lots numbers and products involved in the recall.

Here’s the Pete Hoekstra political ad that is causing all the uproar.   Call a Waaaaaaaaaaambulance!

This ad is about taxation driving industry and trade to China, it’s not about race. It does not degrade the Chinese people in any way. Only the leftists (looking for something to whine about) would find the portrayal of near-fluency in a second language to be degrading. Pharmer is  impressed with anyone who is functionally communicating in a second language, and does not see leaving the “s” off the verb to be degrading.

Pharmer also does not  blame the Chinese for taking advantage of self-destructive American economic policies.  That’s capitalism!

At the above link a list is being compiled of Bishops statements protesting Obama’s health care mandate  for religiously affiliated employers to cover birth control, abortifacients and sterilizations.

The bolded links on the list lead to letters which were to be read at every parish in the diocese.   As of Sunday there are 153 out of  183 diocesan leaders who have made statements.

The Assembly of Orthodox Bishops has also made a statement representing all 53 of their U.S. Bishops, which protests the action of Obama and his HHS.

Expect more statements to be coming out as some of the Bishops get a reminder of their job function from the Vatican.

As a result of prior decisions to go  along with the Government and accept grants from them,  the Bishops now find themselves, and the society in which they live, in dire straits.  Says Francis Cardinal George, Archbishop of Chicago:   “I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison and his successor will die a martyr in the public square.”

Senator Marco  Rubio  (R) FL  has introduced a bill to  reverse the Obamacare mandate that religious health care and other institutions be forced to cover contraception, abortifacient drugs and sterilizations.    Above is a link to the text.

This bill unfortunately does not address the health care professionals themselves, who will have to leave their jobs in order to avoid participating in similar obamacare mandates.

It’s a good start, though.

Record 1.2 Million People Fall Out Of Labor Force In One Month, Labor Force Participation Rate Tumbles To Fresh 30 Year Low | ZeroHedge.

In a single month, 1.2 million people disappeared from the job force.  This is how the bogus low, U3 unemployment percentages were derived.

Did this 1.2 million people merely give up looking for work, or did they die from the rampant drug shortages we have been experiencing for the last 2 years.

Pharmer thinks the deaths from drug shortages are not that high yet ;-).  The Obama administration is just fudging the numbers, as we knew would happen.

The civilian labor force participation rate  is at 63.7%, which is a 30 year low.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics will be eliminating half of the people who are able to work from the  unemployment calculation.  In this way they will report that the economy has cured itself, and all is rosy by the time of election 2012.

The only problem is that it won’t be true, and Obama will NOT be feeling your pain.

Theft of Frozen Fetus Sparks Wild Gang Brawl in New Zealand.

A 12 week old miscarried human fetus was being stored with the meat in the parents freezer.  Why?  They were   planning a burial ceremony.

Burglars raided that freezer for the food, and also obtained the fetus, touching off gang fight in New Plymouth, NZ.  The argument started with two women arguing about the theft, and spread among some gang members nearby.

No word on if the miscarried baby has been returned, but  it is refreshing that people there had thought it was important to recognize the passing of this little human being.
