Catholic Bishops Start Religious Liberty Cmte Over Obamacare | LifeNews.com.

At Pharmer’s parish, the Pro Life Month of October was kicked off   with  another flogging with the “Seamless Garment”.  Yep, this isn’t the first time.

The seamless garment concept used by Archbishop Joseph  Bernardin  has since been abused to make it OK for Catholics to vote for pro-abortion politicians as long as they offered enough governmental goodies for the poor, etc.

After decades of “war on poverty”, we have more poor than ever, and destruction of the family unit, particularly in the segments of the population most “helped” by the government.

In 2004, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, (now Pope Benedict XVI) issued a memorandum to the U.S. Bishops,  which as been said to shred the seamless garment concept, by categorizing  abortion as a most serious means of exiting communion with the Catholic Church.

The looming spectre of Obamacare, with its obligate funding of abortion using  the resources of tax payers, with its pro-abortion insurance mandates, and recission of conscience protections for health care professionals, has spurred the USCCB into action.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is going to form an Ad Hoc Committee for Religious Liberty.

California Stops the Ban on Male Infant Circumcision

The most interesting thing about this Reuters article,  concerning the San-Francisco no-circ law being overturned for the second time by the State of California, is the comment section.

See the no-circ people going nutz about the practice of infant circumcision, and foaming at the mouth about the religious underpinnings.

So Pharmer asked them, where to they stand on the issue of removing the entire baby and throwing him into the trash?

Hmmmm?

Did they vote for Obama, who thought it is  ok to do this even after the kid is born?

Perry’s Link to N-Word Place Name Puts Campaign on Defensive – NYTimes.com.

The Leftie media is having  orgasms over a story that an old hunting property Leased  by the Perry family had the nasty N-word written on a rock.  Apparently the property had that in its name long ago, before that family leased it.

None of these media people have ever managed large property, so they pretend to  think the Perrys should be certain that all the words, and graffiti on the vast acreage are  obliterated at all times.

Obviously running to maintain the remote, leased property was not first priority to the Perry family,  but they apparently  had sense enough to paint over the rock  years before the media caught wind of it.

It is suggested that  one can see the word if one looks through the paint job  from time to time.  Who knows?  The stories vary and the claims are not substantiated.

In order to shoot down the second Republican, they asked Herman Cain about it, and he replied as would be reflexive for any candidate addressing a question about the  non-issue.   Given the story that he was told….. Cain  said that  the word is insensitive and should have been taken off a long time ago.

Now there are a bunch of people  crying that Cain pulled the race card.  The second Republican is  nailed, just after he won another straw poll.

Whether or not this manipulative   ploy is effective depends on how many people pay attention to the lame stream media anymore.

Perhaps They Hope He’ll Do It Again

Mental hospital wants to release failed Reagan assassin John Hinckley Jr. – CNN.com, to live near his 85 year old mother.

While he’s on drugs, he probably lacks energy for planning an assassination, but once Hinckley (now 56)  is off his meds, he’ll probably find someone else to shoot.

Who’s whackier, the patients or the administrators at that hospital?

Operating St. Elizabeth’s  under the threat of Obama care has probably driven the hospital administrators stark raving mad.

Pharmer sez:  Hinckley needs to stay locked up.

Government lawyers objected to the request for the release saying: “There is recent evidence of deception toward his treating physicians as well as narcissism, both of which are significant risk factors for future violence.”

Deception and narcissism……… that sounds like most of our elected officials!

State Shuts Down Rockford Abortion Clinic; Cites Numerous Violations – MyStateLine.com.

The license of the Northern Illinois Woman’s Center has been suspended indefinitely, due to unsanitary conditions and other violations noted by the Illinois State Department of Health.

This clinic has been noted, over the years, at Jill Stanek’s  site,  for it’s special personal relationship with the pro-life community.

With this particular clinic bust,  an abortion avenue has been closed  for Wisconsinites seeking to dodge the parental notification laws in that state.

Obama’s CDC Stops Bad Fruit, Ignores Abortion Drug Deaths | LifeNews.com.

The CDC has recommended that people avoid  cantaloupe from Jensen Farms, Colorado, which is suspected to carry  Listeria, a bacterial cause of potentially fatal food poisoning.  Cheryl Sullenger points out another governmental double standard, (much more egregious than the selective enforcement of the migratory bird protection laws highlighted HERE).

13 deaths and 72 illnesses have been attributed to eating cantaloupe from the Colorado farms.   Laura Anderko, a food safety specialist from Georgetown U.  suggests that people should throw away their cantaloupe if they’re not sure where it’s from.

There’s no such governmental reaction   to the deaths and adverse effects suffered by users of  mifepristone and misoprostil.  The abortion regimen is still being promoted as safe, after reports of 14 deaths and 2207 adverse effects associated with use of  the drugs.

 

Only Oil Companies Prosecuted for Migratory Bird Deaths, Wind Farms Immune.

Wind Companies Not Presecuted for Killing Birds | TheBlaze.com.

More craziness from the government is their prosecution of North Dakota Oil companies for the deaths of 28 birds in their oil waste pits.  The Migratory Bird Treaty Act exacts 6 months in prison and $15,000 fine for each charge.

It is estimated that 400,000 fowl (including eagles)  annually are  converted to bird-burgers by windmills.   The Wind Farms, being the favored green energy producers, are immune from reprisals for their negative impact on the environment.

U.S. Attorney, Timothy Purdon, who is pursuing the oil companies,  is unaffected by the obvious discrimination and unequal application of laws.

Al Quada’s American Outreach Experts Killed by Drone

Two U.S.-Born Terrorists Killed In CIA-Led Drone Strike | Fox News.

Samir Khan, of North Carolina and Anwar al Awlaki of New Mexico were killed by the drone method in their newer home of Yemen.   Both of these two served as  Al-Quaeda outreach to U.S. citizens.

Khan co-edited “Inspire” magazine, which translated Al Quaeda ideology  to English.  Al-Awlaki was the radical Islam preacher of cyberspace who is blamed for mentoring Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood killer.

The justice department might struggle with the concept of executing U.S. citizens without a trial, while insisting that terrorist prisoners, and prisoners of war   from other countries should have been granted trials in New York as U.S. citizens.   We might ask Eric Holder to present an argument on that matter in between his efforts to cover up his Fast and Furious troubles – using tax dollars to buy guns for the Mexican drug cartel.  

After assassinating multiple Muslims, how is Obama going to raise campaign cash in the Middle East like last time?
