Family Suing NYC After Teen’s Brain Found In ME’s Office « CBS New York- News, Sports, Weather, Traffic and the Best of NY.

This is “news” of a highschool kid who died traumatically in a car accident (in 2005).  An autopsy, badly handled by the NYC coroner, resulted in double trauma to the family.   A couple months after the accident, the crash victim’s friends, on a school field trip,  saw the kid’s brain, with name attached, on display at the morgue, supposedly awaiting testing.

The shocked family insisted on having the brain returned, as it was held without their permission.  They exhumed their deceased son, and reburied him with his brain.

And…….. because of the speedy judicial and news processes, we are hearing about it FIVE years later.

Could Residency Requirement Interfere with Rahm Emanuel’s Appointment as Chicago Mayor?

Experts say Rahm Emanuel not a legal resident of city :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Election 2010.

Apparently the fact that Rahm Emmanuel has been in Washington DC, and that his renter won’t allow him to break lease, means there may be trouble with his appointment as Mayor of Chicago.

It is very likely that the Cook County Court will endorse Emmanuel as it is considered important that a prospective Democrat Mayoral  appointee “wants” to live in Chicago.

Who Would You Rather Have Living In Your Neighborhood?

August 28 vs Oct 2, the aftermath in Washington DC at the exit of a huge crowd of teapartiers and supporters of the military, compared to that at the exit of the “One Nation” democrat socialists.

Who would you want living next to you, a nice teapartier, or one of these environmentally conscious Democrats?

D.C. brings HIV testing to the crowd at the DMV.

Washington DC, the HIV capital of the United states wants everyone to know that HIV testing is just a routine thing… conveniently available at the Dept of Motor Vehicles.  You can get an HIV test with your license renewal.

The FDA wanted people to be able to obtain abortion drugs, (ulipristal acetate, ELLA) an analog of RU486, mifepristone, at the discount store pharmacy.

Wouldn’t want people to drive out of their way to address these mattters.

In some states  Washington, for example, a student can be driven after school for an abortion, by a school official.  No parental consent or signature is needed for that extra curricular activity.

The highest value of our governments-gone-wrong is convenience

Britain Recognizes Druids as a Religion,

Yep, the Druids have a real religion now,  since the UK has bestowed the Tax Advantages and Charitable Status upon them.

Britain recognizes Druidry as religion for first time, gives it charitable status – CNN Belief Blog – CNN.com Blogs.

Remember those old Druids, burning up the prisoners in their human sacrifices.  None of that anymore –it’s Druid-Lite.    You might say they’ve gotten their “new testament”, and have become a kinder, gentler religion.

Variety is the spice of life.

An eye opener, and astonishing thing out there on the internet for the world to see.

Umm  Muhammad Ahmad was not impressed with the western style obstetric care for her first two births so she decided to have kid number three at home.   Whether that was a bright idea or not is debatable, but her point of view should be taken into consideration by health care providers.

Worth noting is that the author is a convert to Islam, (she’s originally from Germany), and appears to have been previously trained as a nurse.
