The American Spectator : The Little Sisters of Limousine Liberalism

The American Spectator : The Little Sisters of Limousine Liberalism.

George Neumayr says Follow the Money, with respect to seeking out the reasons why “Sister Obamacare” Carol Keehan, has supported the Obama shell game, moving financial management of birth control / abortion / sterilization finances to insurance companies, which still includes many self insured Catholic institutions. All of the religiously run institutions will still be paying the cost.

Neumayr notes that being a “Sister of Limousine Liberalism” has its rewards, and gives yearly salaries for a number of individuals who are touting Obamacare, and the birth control/ abortion/ sterilization mandate. Keehan herself pulls down close to a million yearly.

The Catholic Health Association hospitals under her purview also stand to recieve plenty of cash under Obamacare if it is left to continue in its destructive path.

Pro-life nurses win major court battle (OneNewsNow.com)

Pro-life nurses win major court battle (OneNewsNow.com).

Twelve nurses of the same surgery unit at University of Medicine and Dentistry Hospital, one of New Jersey’s largest health care facilities, have won their suit, and will not be forced to participate in abortion procedures.

Yet to be determined are the reprisals and scheduling problems which might crop up as  a result of their dissent. U.S. District Judge Jose Linares says that he will retain jurisdiction over the case to monitor and rule on any disputes which might arise as the decision is enforced.

Perhaps the hospital will recognize the public relations problem of coercing participation in abortion, and allow the nurses to practice in peace.

Congratulations to the courageous nurses and the lawyers of the Alliance Defense Fund on their victory.

Christophe Champenois Reportedly Murders Son In Washing Machine

Christophe Champenois Reportedly Murders Son In Washing Machine.

This guy is said to have stuffed his toddler into a washing machine, and turned it on.  The little boy died of head injuries.

This is just a very late term abortion.  Princeton University  bioethicist, Peter Singer,  has told us  that aborting at the toddler stage of development is OK, calling 3 years of age ethically a grey case.

A commonality is that the deaths occur by brutal methods which are out of sight of the perpetrator (unless ultrasound guided), whether they occur in the washing machine or in the uterus.

Penn State – Further Into the Dumpster

Jerry Sandusky Rumored to Have Been ‘Pimping Out Young Boys to Rich Donors,’ Says Mark Madden – College Football – NESN.com.

Pharmer supposes that all sorts of rumors will be flying, including the one headlined above.

This rumor  is not implausible because the Board of Trustees has seen fit to boot Joe Paterno immediately, as well as the University president Graham Spanier, who had been in place for 16 years.

Student unrest (rioting) has ensued, involving students on each side of the issue of firing Joe Paterno.

Expect much more to come out of this Penn State scandal as the digging continues.

Remember Michael Mann, Climate Gate, and Research Fraud? Penn State found no trouble with him.

Mississippi voters reject anti-abortion initiative – CNN.com

Mississippi voters reject anti-abortion initiative – CNN.com.

The Personhood Amendment (26) in Mississippi was voted down on Tuesday.

This amendment defined the beginning of life according to what is understood in biology for over 150 years.   Opponents feared that it could have led to laws and regulations to ban hormonal birth control and fertility treatments, since these things often operate with a mechanism to stop embryonic human life. The amendment itself contained no specific language involving bans or restrictions. The CNN article referenced above is incorrect in this regard, as it re-used scare tactics used by abortion supporters to oppose the amendment.

The admission of the ethical problems associated with birth control and certain fertility treatments comes late from promoters, many of whom formerly denied, concealed or obfuscated  the possible effects of embryonic or fetal demise.

University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Sued for Coercing Nurses to Assist Abortions

The Alliance Defense Fund has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in New Jersey against the University of Medicine and Dentistry on behalf of 12 nurses.  The University has been threatening nurses with loss of their jobs if they refuse to train for and assist in abortions.  This is a due to a recent change in policy and supervision of the nurses.

The suit asks for removal of federal funding for the hospital until it ceases religious discrimination against the nurses whose beliefs forbid participation in killing the unborn.  It asks also for the hospital to return 60 million in federal funding which it received in 2011,  attorney fees  and relief for the nurses as the Court sees fit.

A Copy of the Complaint filed with the United States District Court in NJ can be found HERE.

Pharmer congratulates the 12 Nurses who have distinguished themselves  by courageously taking action against the hospital, and offers prayers for their success.  (Be encouraged.  There is life, and even a job after this kind of  lawsuit.  Been there, done that.)

Michael Nutter, Philly Mayor Plain Speaking to Flash Mobs and Parents

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter Calls Out Youths, Flash Mobs, and Parents | Video | TheBlaze.com.

All 30 min of Mayor Michael Nutter’s speach is available below.
He calls on the kids to get a job, dress to get a job (no more hoodies and pants on the ground), and for parents to supervise the kids, and for fathers to be more than “sperm donors”.

Highlights:
“If you walk into somebody’s office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won’t hire you? They don’t hire you ’cause you look like you’re crazy!”
“The Immaculate Conception of our Lord Jesus Christ took place a long time ago, and it didn’t happen here in Philadelphia. So every one of these kids has two parents who were around and participating at the time. They need to be around now.”

* technical note: the Immaculate Conception refers to Mary being born without sin, (Catholic doctrine) rather than Jesus being born of a Virgin (a separate and general Christian doctrine).  But the general message of Mayor Nutter is a good one.

Inquiring Minds Ask -What is the World’s biggest Tick Up To

Did George Soros win 10/1 return on S&P’s US credit rating downgrade? | Mail Online.

There is speculation that George Soros,  the world’s biggest tick, made big bucks betting on a downgrade of the U.S. economy.

It wouldn’t be the first time that he pulled such a stunt, and the UK remembers him well for this.    That’s why the  Daily Mail airs such suspicions.

They speak of inside information needed  to have made such a bet, but really no such thing was required.  It’s obvious that the Obama  government can’t stop spending.    The only thing needed, to create disaster and then profit from it, is a lack of personal ethics, and we know Soros fills that bill.

Mark Zuckerberg’s new challenge: Eating only what he kills (and yes, we do mean literally…) – Postcards.

The big Facebook developer, Mark Zuckerberg has decided that this year’s challenge is to only eat the meat of creatures he personally kills, and the requirement is causing his meat consumption to decrease.   So far  his kill list is  fish, lobster, chicken, goat and pig.  The idea he conveys is that people should be thankful for what they’re eating instead of ignoring where it came from.

Says Zuckerberg:  “This year, my personal challenge is around being thankful for the food I have to eat. I think many people forget that a living being has to die for you to eat meat, so my goal revolves around not letting myself forget that and being thankful for what I have.”

Looks as though  Zuckerberg is getting  into his right mind.
