Nurse MaryAnn Lawhon, found a baby who had survived an abortion, left to die of exposure. She rocked him as he died, baptized him, and named him John. She promised that she would carry his message, and this has inspired the title of upcoming movie, “The Voice of John”.
The Voice of John will be released on Nov 4, this year, hopefully not too late for people to respond by voting to remove Obamacare from our lives on November 6th.

October 7 is Pulpit Freedom Sunday, in which the Alliance Defending Freedom and numerous other religious organizations are backing this effort.
Many of the pastors send tapes of their sermons to the IRS, attempting to trigger an audit. The IRS has acted against non profits engaging in politically partisan activity before, but generally shy away before the issue goes to court. The agency fears losing the power to suppress speech by losing their case on constitutional 1st amendment grounds.
Knowing that the IRS does not go after Planned Parenthood for its blatant campaign activity for the Democrats, and Cecile Richards current tour of the swing states for Obama, should bolster the courage of any religious groups and churches which would like to engage in free political speech from the pulpit.
Some courageous Catholic Priests have taken on the task of defending the sanctity of life in their sermons. This could be interpreted directly as anti-democrat speech since abortion is firmly entrenched in that party’s platform, and Obamacare includes a death panel, (IPAB). These priests have therefore taken on the IRS, and the current administration itself.
Other members of of United States Catholic Clergy might shy away from giving their own interpretations of scripture as it impinges upon politics, for fear of chasing off their congregations. Some of them subscribe to the idea that it’s OK to vote for a politician who supports killing the unborn, the elderly and the disabled, so long as the candidate promises to redistribute the wealth. This type of confused thinking has morphed from Seamless Garment teaching of Cardinal Joseph Bernardin.
Besides Pulpit Freedom Sunday, October is Pro Life Month and the Fall edition of the 40 Days for Life, is underway.

FRC: Not Much News Because the Massacre was Prevented
Shooter Told Family Research Council: I Don’t Like Your Politics | LifeNews.com.
Imagine the additional charges for hate crime had a conservative shot Floyd Lee Corkins. The FRC shooter is being charged with assault with intent to kill and for bringing a firearm across state lines.
Corkins fired off shots in the FRC lobby, one of them hitting security guard, Leo Johnson, in the arm. Mr. Johnson, along with other security guards wrestled Corkins to the ground. The 28 year old suspect is quoted: “Don’t shoot me, it was not about you, it was what this place stands for.”
Corkins was armed with 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches, a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol, two extra loaded magazines and a box of 50 rounds of ammo. It appears that he had in mind killing more than one person, but perhaps he just had a low opinion of his own marksmanship.

Floyd Corkins II has been arrested for the shooting of a security guard in the lobby of the Family Research Council, a socially conservative group based in Washington DC.
Corkins has been a volunteer at the LGBT Community Center in Washington DC for about a half year. Apparently the FRC’s stance on gay marriage, and in support of Chick-fil-A had served as an irritant to the shooter, although his motive is officially said to be unknown.
The security guard, who has been called a hero by the D.C. police chief, has been hospitalized, in stable condition. He had been shot in the arm when he stopped the gunman in the lobby. He then wrestled the suspect to the ground. The FBI is said to be investigating the incident.

Alcee Hastings was offended when Allen West had Chick-fil-A catered at a Congressional Black Caucus meeting about six months ago.
Everyone was deeply offended says Hastings, though Angela Melvin, a spokesperson for West reports that not a plate of Chick-fil-A food was left after that meeting.
The Huff-Po reports on this event in the light of the latest free speech controversy involving the restaurant chain, though Allen West employed their services a half year earlier.

Vante Inc. Was Probably Waiting for A Reason To Fire Adam Smith

Adam Smith, former CFO/Treasurer of Vante Inc in Tuscon Arizona was likely one of those employees who caused his employer to look for an excuse to fire him. This man was actually fired for public behavior which he exhibited outside of the workplace, on his own time.
If a guy is so clueless as to make a video of himself berating a Chick-Fil-A drivethrough employee about the personal beliefs of her company’s CEO, one could expect his behavior at his own job to be atrocious. When Smith planted the video below on Youtube, his company grabbed the opportunity to lose an employee who was probably everyone’s least favorite.
Watch Adam Smith in action, and observe the drive through employee resolutely sticking to her polite customer service script.
Update: Adam Smith is suffering from the after effects of his viral video. He states that his company did not allow him to explain his actions before terminating him, and that he’s been getting hate mail and death threats since he published his activism at the Chick-fil-A drive through.
Smith credited this inspirational video utilizing a verse from Proverbs 25:21 as a mechanism for draining resources from the fast food franchise for mobilizing him to action. It appears that Adam Smith had found a woman’s skirt that turned out not to be large enough to hide behind. If you’re not tired of leftist abuse of the Old Testament, you can listen to Jackson Pearce, who does not understand the reasons for the social recognition of marriage: to protect children.
Meanwhile, it’s important to remember that gays can get married any time they want to. It’s their private decision, and there are plenty of clergy which will officiate. However it becomes the business of the public when homosexuals desire to obtain the social support system relegated to protect children which naturally are produced from heterosexual unions.

The very impulsive Adam Smith is living with a bit of hate email, (something which occurs routinely to right wing activists), and is said to have developed some concern for the drive through employee whose life has also been affected by his viral video.
Update 2: Adam Smith guns for a new job as a political activist in this newer video in which he grovels out an apology to the drive through order taker at Chick-fil-A, and issues some explanations for the behaviors which were inconsistent with his stated motives. He also apologizes for denying homosexuality in the first video, and states that if he were a closeted gay, he’d be proud. His wife and kids must be sooo impressed.
Do you think Mr. Smith is too much a drama queen to be the treasurer of a serious corporation? Ya, Vante Inc. probably did the right thing for self preservation. He should take his confused self to the major “news” networks.

As of August 1, businesses are now forced to cover birth control, abortion and sterilizations for free, according to the Obama Health and Human Services Mandate.
Those business owners who oppose any of the above have been stripped of their First Amendment Right of religious freedom.
One exception has been made for the Catholic owned business, Hercules Industries which sued in Colorado for exemption from the mandate, while its lawsuit is being considered.
Two other lawsuits have been dismissed, on technical issues rather than on the merits of the cases.

All over the U.S. the 1600 Chick-Fil-A restaurants have been enjoying booming business, and even some referrals from competing fast food places, on this Appreciation Day.
