Vice President Joe Biden doesn’t know who Van Jones is | Local News – The Schnitt Show.

Remember Van Jones,  Obama’s Green Jobs advisor?  the “Green Czar” was appointed in 2009, but like so many, is no longer with the Obama administration. His past activism, (Marxism, STORM, 911 Truther) was found to be embarrassing.  With the big disaster of the Solyndra bankruptcy, and the apparent cozy kickbacks to Dems coming from green companies receiving federal funds, you think Joe Biden would remember who this guy is.  The financial relationship of  green corporations to the Dems has the White house in hot water right now.

Here ya go….. Biden is clueless:

Senator Frank Lautenberg: We’ve Got To Eliminate the Rich

Sen. Frank Lautenberg  (D) NJ, has about 50 million, so …… Is he going to volunteer for his program?  😉

*Update: The videographer made a correction at Youtube, as it appears that Lautenberg tried to say waste.

The title here stands, because we always have less of whatever is taxed, and that includes the rich. See also the Warren Buffett’s plan, which Lautenberg touts. This tax plan will eliminate the rich before Lautenberg actually addresses the government waste.

Leftie Racism

Lawrence O’Donnell: Sorry for invoking slavery.

Another Newbie on MS-LSD  (used to be NBC), Lawrence O’Donnell has been caught displaying his leftie racism towards Michael Steele, head of the Republican National Committee.

Little Larry had to apologize to Steele for implying that he’s dancing as fast as he can, as a slave to the RNC.

Trouble is,  Steele, being a RINO and  accustomed to media abuse, has accepted the insincere apology from MS LSD’s newest host, for a chance to be re-invited to the show.

The likes of this quote would get any right winger booted from the air, but O’Donnell will remain.

Said Larry:  “Michael Steele is dancing as fast as he can,” O’Donnell began his Steele intro, “trying to charm independent voters and Tea Partiers while never losing sight of his real master and paycheck provider, the Republican National Committee.”

At Least Reid Picked a Female to Dub the Senate’s Hottest Member

CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive – Reid calls Gillibrand ‘the hottest member’ « – Blogs from CNN.com.

and we’re glad  Harry Reid doesn’t have Chris Matthew’s problem …….

From the Political Ticker:

“Reid made one of those comments Monday morning at a New York fundraiser hosted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg.”

“The Nevada Democrat referred to New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand “the hottest member,” which apparently made Gillibrand blush, according to two Democratic sources familiar with the incident.”

Oh……. by the way…….. Reid had to vote against the military spending bill which contains a repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell”. There’s an election coming up, you know.

Not mentioned in the leftist press, which excuses Reid’s vote as procedural, is that the military spending bill also contains Roland Burris’s amendment to allow (coerce) abortions at military hospitals.

A misattribution on the new Oval Office Rug

Jamie Stiehm – Oval Office rug gets history wrong.

WaPo  states that  a quote on the rug by Theodore Parker, a Boston Abolitionist and reformer, is misattributed to Martin Luther King.

The quote in question:  “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”

Apparently  Dr. King liked that statement, however, and had no trouble to give credit where it was due.

Over at the Daily Mail, Don Surber reminds us that the Roosevelt quote on  rug  doesn’t mean what Obama thinks it does.

“The welfare of each of us is dependent fundamentally upon the welfare of all of us”. from the Square Deal Speech really was not an invitation for the government to take over all of industry, as the Obamanator has planned.

In the same speech is a historical reference which also  foreshadows  Obamunism, a government under which Wall Street financiers and Corporate CEOs are paid lavishly under the table to accept public flagellation from the government, for the sake of showmanship.

“The outcome was equally fatal, whether the country fell into the hands of a wealthy oligarchy which exploited the poor or whether it fell under the domination of a turbulent mob which plundered the rich. In both cases there resulted violent alternations between tyranny and disorder, and a final complete loss of liberty to all citizens — destruction in the end overtaking the class which had for the moment been victorious as well as that which had momentarily been defeated. The death-knell of the Republic had rung as soon as the active power became lodged in the hands of those who sought, not to do justice to all citizens, rich and poor alike, but to stand for one special class and for its interests as opposed to the interests of others.”
