Sen. Rand Paul Blocked from Flight for Refusing TSA Groping.

The good senator is already an enemy of the TSA, and perhaps they were trying to show him who is boss by making him miss his flight to Washington DC.    Senator Rand Paul scheduled to speak at the big Right to Life Event in Washington DC, and vote in the Senate today, but his schedule was interrupted by the gropers in Nashville.

A scanner indicated a glitch at his knee, and  Paul lifted his trouser leg to expose the area.   But that was NOT enough.   The  TSA officials wanted to grope the rest of his parts too.   Rand Paul declined and was detained for some time.  After a subsequent scan revealed no problems,  the Senator caught a later flight to his destination.

This earned the Transportation Security Agency more bad commercials from Rand Paul’s father who is running for president.

Rand Paul himself has always opposed the over reach of the TSA, calling them  clueless for targeting six year old kids, the disabled and others who are obviously not terrorists.

Protest SOPA Day

Wikipedia is inconveniencing millions of students today as it lobbies on the internet against the Stop Online Piracy Act.

Pharmer is inclined to side with the likes of Google and Facebook and Wikipedia on this one. The government has created unfunded mandates for all large websites, search engines, etc. which open themselves to contributors, to monitor everything that is placed on their site, or face removal (unsearchability) due to copyright infringement.

The SOPA language is written in a way to allow the removal of any site the government chooses to eliminate. Copyright infringement does not have to be established before the sites are removed. It is damaging to business and to free speech.

Phun!! Hillary and Joe Biden Trade Places

Grammatico of Breitbart has a  waking nightmare of Biden and Hillary swapping jobs.

Detailed in this bit of “news” is the confirmation process ushering Biden to his new position as Secretary of State……. as if that mattered.

We have found that the Obaminator can make recess appointments EVEN WHEN CONGRESS IS NOT IN RECESS!!!!!!!    Apparently the Senators  are  so afraid of being dumped off of a bridge with cement shoes, that they dare not object to this abrogation of the Constitution.

Senate confirmation processes have very recently become superfluous.  However the fantasy appearance of Joe Biden before  Senator Kerry and  the Foreign Relations Committee is hilarious fun.  If you need a laugh, click HERE.

Paul Campos: A Failure To Appreciate Diversity

BODY Diversity that is.   Diversity is exalted in all its forms, except for what the liberals think is bad.   Paul Campos expressed this in an Opinion Worth Reading, addressing the Strong4Life  anti-fat, ad campaign.  He cleverly  ties this effort and  the attitude behind  Michelle Obama’s failing anti-obesity campaign together.

Leftists have their favorite religions which should be protected, and their un-favorites (Christianity).  They exalt the behavioral diversity of homosexual activity, and sometimes even incest (Professor  David Epstein), and pedophilia (ACLU/NAMBLA), if the mood is right.  Diverse responses to the very young  (ranging from killing them to lavish prenatal and perinatal care) are celebrated and funded with your tax dollars.  Poverty is celebrated, and sustained with government subsistence income.  If the leftists  can squeeze votes by celebrating diversity, it will be done.  They have wrung every vote possible from their sham “support” of racial minorities.

One  can plainly see which groups don’t bring votes to the Democrats.  They have given up on White Working People, and Pharmer thinks they have perhaps  bailed on Fat People too.

Perhaps we can be glad if the Obama administration is managing  to alienate some more voters with Michelles  ineffective anti-obesity  campaign,  meant to make Fat People more aware of something that is already brought to their attention multiple times daily. What they won’t be offering is an effective means to curb the unhealthy eating habits of Americans.  Leftists  will continue to be inconsistent in their supposed aims to foster health and longevity:  smoking = bad,  fast food=bad, sedentary lifestyle=bad, multiple sex partners=good, using the ‘rear exit’ for sex=good.

Families will have to keep both parents working at multiple jobs to pay the taxes and the bills, (and alimony and lawyers if they’re divorced).  They’ll be pressured to run their kids to various athletic events, or keep them inside, because they’re too scared of criminals and perverts to let the kids roam the outdoors.  They’ll continue to catch fast food on the fly, rather than cook  real food at home.  We see just one more example of the government wasting your tax dollars on a problem that is largely generated by their policies.

Incidentally,  Strong for Life is a program of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  The media and this organization are NOT trumpeting the (federal)  sources of funding.

SOPA: What You Don’t Want

The Stop Online Piracy Act, SOPA, by Lamar Smith as lead author, a Republican who needs a new job, is so bad that even Google doesn’t want it. They’re already pretty used to censorship. Pro-lifers are able to notice the disappearing content. Certain copyright owners such as those in Hollywood, would stand to benefit from SOPA, and have given us a new reason for boycotting them.
Congress is considering a bill which would give copyright owners and the agency that loves themthe ability to have whole websites deprived of advertisers and shot down due to potential infringement on just one page.
Compliance and continued operation would be impossible for sites which are driven by user content. Not only would the cost of policing be prohibitive, no one would want to go there anymore.
Jimmy Wales is contemplating a total Blackout of Wikipedia in protest over SOPA, which could inconvenience a huge number of people, and perhaps generate some email to Congress.
We could save the time, cost and inconvenience of proving the law to be unconstitutional by not allowing it to be passed in the first place. < < Just click and write your Congressman and tell him in flowery language that SOPA sux.

Press Secretary Jay Carney Has Offended Peta

PETA sends letter to White House press secretary for taking bestiality question ‘lightly’ | The Cutline – Yahoo! News.

The latest defense authorization bill approved by the Senate includes repeal of military laws forbidding sodomy and bestiality.

Jay Carney dismissed questions on this from a reporter during his daily press briefing, merely saying, “Let’s get on to something more serious”.

This prompted a letter from PETA’s Director of Communications, Colleen O’Brien.   It points out that their office has been deluged with calls from people who are upset that bestiality is now permitted in the military.

From the letter:  “As we outlined in the attached letter sent yesterday to the secretary of defense, animal abuse does not affect animals only—it is also a matter of public safety, as people who abuse animals very often go on to abuse human beings.”

One of the rare bits of common sense coming from the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals  is going to fall on deaf ears, as the Obama Administration would not be sympathetic to these kinds of problems.

In fact, the FDA is again seeking to facilitate the sexual abuse of humans by putting the morning after pill, Plan B One-Step  out on store shelves with the condoms.

Ella, the new morning after pill which is chemically analogous to mifepristone (RU-486), is now distributed  through an on-line prescribing and dispensing  process.  Though it is more cumbersome, it allows  non-patients and  men to have access to the drug and accumulate doses for abortions.

By this means, the FDA has  facilitated the availability of  home abortions outside the supervision of medical personnel.  These processes are frequently completed at hospitals where the resultant, life-threatening infections are treated.

Sorry, PETA, this is one administration which is not concerned about the  abuse of  animals, (humans included).

A 1994 document “Policy Statement on Discrimination in Lending” was entered into the Federal Register on April 15.  This contained a threat from 10 federal agencies to banks and mortgage lenders to make loans to lower income minority regardless of credit status.  The lenders were threatened with loss of access to the secondary mortgage market, fines, etc.  This document was signed by Henry Cisneros, Janet Reno, Eugene Ludwig and Alan Greenspan.   Remember that cast of idiots?

Per government orders,  the banks made bad home loans and sold the mortgages.  Now the Government is pointing its finger at the banks, and orchestrating paid protesters in numerous cities to project blame in the wrong direction.

Does the Obama administration control the number of rapes occurring in the United States?

Click above to watch Jay Carney try to defend the statements from Joe Biden that passing the “Jobs” bill  (tax increases) is necessary to prevent more rapes and murders from occurring in the U.S..

An important aside is that the jobs bill would only pay for more police in some cities, for a single year.   Apparently Obama can only forestall the appetites of rapists  for that short period.  After that, you’re on your own.

UPDATE: Factcheck.org shines the light on Biden’s Bogus Crime stats. It seems that the FBI thinks that rapes decreased a bit, in Flint, Michigan, rather than quadrupling as Biden had claimed.

 

No Appreciation of Satire at TSA?

From the funspot of Infowars comes some text from H.R. 3011 concerning the Transportation Security Administration  “Department of Molestation”.

This bill contains language to prohibit the use of logos and words containing TSA, or variants thereof, and imitations of the logo design, and make such use a federal crime.

Apparently  the extensive body of satire and parody of the TSA  has hit some raw nerves.

The language exists in section 295 of the bill, so if you’re making money, or deriving amusement from  making fun of the TSA,  you had better write your congressman.

Perhaps They Hope He’ll Do It Again

Mental hospital wants to release failed Reagan assassin John Hinckley Jr. – CNN.com, to live near his 85 year old mother.

While he’s on drugs, he probably lacks energy for planning an assassination, but once Hinckley (now 56)  is off his meds, he’ll probably find someone else to shoot.

Who’s whackier, the patients or the administrators at that hospital?

Operating St. Elizabeth’s  under the threat of Obama care has probably driven the hospital administrators stark raving mad.

Pharmer sez:  Hinckley needs to stay locked up.

Government lawyers objected to the request for the release saying: “There is recent evidence of deception toward his treating physicians as well as narcissism, both of which are significant risk factors for future violence.”

Deception and narcissism……… that sounds like most of our elected officials!
