Live Action Uncovers Plaza Inn Abortions, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Live Action Films has done an expose  of the close relationship that the Plaza Inn  in Albuquerque, NM has with the Southwestern Women’s Options. Plaza Hotel offers discount rates and transportation and is helping to bring late term abortion tourism to Albuquerque, NM.

Wichita, KS had been the late term abortion capitol of the U.S. until George Tiller was unnaturally caused to meet the same fate as his almost-born patients. Since New Mexico has no abortion restrictions, it was natural for late term abortionists to settle there.

This film, CLICK IT HERE, features phone call inquiries to the abortion clinic and  to the Plaza hotel, juxtaposed with an earlier undercover visit to Southwestern Women’s Options.

Jill Stanek is wondering how guests at the Plaza Inn would feel, knowing that the room they are using had been the labor and delivery room during a late term abortion, and questioned the ability of the hotel staff to maintain appropriate sanitation.

UPDATE:   The abortion supporters had to spend a million bucks to defeat legislation which would have banned abortions after 20 weeks gestation in Abuquerque.  There are more voters registered in that locality than there were in the previous election.  Early and absentee ballots were the key to defeating the abortion ban.   By all indications, Pro-lifers will continue this locally based strategy of restricting abortions with a more clearly worded bills, and wring more resources from the Lefties.

If You Get Obamacare News from WebMD

You should know that they have a 4.8 million dollar contract with the government to “educate” physicians  about the joys of Obamacare.  This news comes after Sebelius praised WebMD for its online resource to “help” Americans understand the labyrinthine law.

With this in mind, you should not expect unbiased info about  Obamacare from this company on either of its venues, WebMD (News), and its Medscape platform that serves health care professionals.  It wouldn’t be nice to make Obama and Sebelius mad after accepting government funds from them.

Alternative to Medical Mug Shots for People with Physical Anomalies.

Laura Loo over at Jill Stanek’s place has featured a video of Rick Guidotti’s photographic mission.  Ever since meeting up with a lady dancer with albinism, he has turned from fashion photography, to producing shoots of people with various disabilities.  A lot of these people get mug shots much more often than glamor shots.

Guidotti is showing the magic that happens when people with various physical anomalies get a chance to put their best foot forward.

You can check out Mr. Guidotti’s Positive Exposure Program  HERE, to see more of what he does.

Transpoosion in Pill Form

WOW!!  Now you can have your transpoosion by mouth (PO).   YUM!  The fecal transplant method of curing serious and sometimes life threatening gut infections such as Clostridium difficile was developed in the UK.  This treatment, has heretofore been delivered rectally in enema form, or using invasive gastric intubation.  Now the Canadians are tailoring transpoosions “in pill form” so that they can be taken orally.   The success of this method appears to be superior, as the delivery of replacement microorganisms to the intestine, encased in capsules,  appears to be more complete.

Dr Thomas Louie, of the University of Calgary custom designs transpoosions by extracting the gut bacteria from fecal samples,  and delivering them in triple coated gel capsules which can make their way past the stomach to the small intestine before dissolving.  The necessary population of fecal bacteria is packed into 24 to 34 capsules.  So, rather than the whole “tootsie roll” patients are receiving only the microbial essence of poo, freshly compounded  in pharmaceutically elegant form.  Dr. Louie has had big success with his group of 27 patients, each of whom had suffered at least 4 flareups of C. difficile.  None of his volunteers have relapsed since their transpoosions by mouth.   PO poopie therapy appears to have a 1.000 batting average.

Celebrities Have Access to Vital Nutrients Which Are in Shortage at Hospitals.

“Children are dying,” says Steve Plogsted, a clinical pharmacist who chairs the drug-shortage task force of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). “They’re not getting any calcium or any zinc. Or they’re not getting any phosphorous, and that can lead to heart standstill. I know of a neonate who had seven days without phosphorous, and her little heart stopped.” Click the quote.   This situation of parenteral (administered intravenously)  nutrient shortages, described by Alexandra Robbins in the Washingtonian is absolutely true.   Your friendly Pharmer has been adjusting physician orders, in response to this situation for years now.

At one time, the U.S. could take drastic measures to enhance the supply of  life saving drugs.  Breweries were co-opted during war time to bolster supplies of penicillin, halfway through the last century, for example.   Mired in the inertia of huge government and its regulations,  shortages of relatively easily supplied medications can no longer be managed.  Now it takes years to bring up a new production facility when an older one fails or goes out of business. There are only a few manufacturers  which provide electrolytes and nutrients for parenteral use, for those patients whose digestive tracts are not able to process food.   Very possibly, the new progressive administration, staffed with many who regard humanity as a pestilence upon the earth, is not motivated to address the shortages and mal-distribution of lifesaving drugs.

Most recently Ms. Robbins has exposed the fact that celebrities are using parenteral nutrients for cosmetic reasons, performance enhancement, or hangover treatment  while premature babies are dying for lack of vital nutrition. It seems that the clinics which provide these treatments are not put at the back of the line for products which have been on shortage.

Your friendly Pharmer knows directly that there have been shortages of many electrolytes, soluble vitamins, lipids and trace elements which are needed for parenteral nutrition.  When some shortages subside, other shortages take their place.   There is a constant need to reformulate parenteral nutrition solutions in order to rebalance electrolytes to make up for those which are unavailable.  While older patients can usually  survive for awhile without some nutrients,  the premature babies are out of luck.    It’s not good for health care business for providers to  advertise that vital supplies are missing from their institutions.   It’s not good for the current administration for the media to advertise their incompetence or unwillingness to address this problem.

Please take the time to read Alexandra Robbins two articles linked above.  Her style of writing will adequately convey the nature of this problem and its consequences to those without specific medical training.  Pharmer recommends either to  lower your expectations of health care, or call your legislators and ask them to address this problem, and while they’re thinking about health care, remind them  to defund the “Affordable” Health Care Act  this September.  Links to the Senate and House contacts are on the side bar of this blog ALWAYS.  Monitor drug shortages for yourself.  There’s an app for that!

CDC Abortion Surveillance Report Concurs with Pro-lifers: Minorities are Targeted

Pro-lifers have known for decades that abortion clinics are concentrated in minority neighborhoods.  It’s been a eugenics program all along, to regulate the population sizes of Blacks and Hispanics most particularly.

In November, the CDC Abortion Surveillance Report was published, which shows that 63 percent of the abortions in the U.S. end the lives of Black or Hispanic babies.  This wildly outpaces the proportions of these minorities in the general population, and it directly relates to the locations of the abortion clinics.

From the CDC Report comes a data set from 2009.

White women had 38% of abortions  or 8.5 abortions 1ooo women (15-44yrs) or 140 abortions per 1000 live births.

Black women had 35.4% of abortions, 32.5 abortions per 1000 women (15-44yrs) or 477 abortions per 1000 live births.

Hispanic women had 20.6% of abortions, 19.3 abortions per 1000 women (15-44yrs) or 195 abortions per 1000 live births.

Women of other races: 6.3% of abortions, 17.7 abortions per 1000 women (15-44yrs) or 243 abortions per 1000 live births.

Admittedly the CDC is not counting all of the abortions, but the analysis of data which they have been able to collect bears out what pro-lifers have noticed all along.   The placement of abortion clinics is having its intended effects.

Late Term Abortion has a Cover Girl in Texas

Texas state senator, Wendy Davis, has volunteered to be the poster girl of late term abortion by attempting to filibuster a bill which would limit abortion to 20 weeks, and also put in place some regulations regarding hospital admitting privileges for abortionists. Leftists feared that this would have forced closure of dozens of abortion clinics, so they mounted a vigorous and disorderly protest, which turned out to be what eventually killed the passage of this bill. The vote results are said to have been delayed just past midnight, thereby setting things back to ground zero for the SB-5, TX bill prohibiting late term abortion.

Update: Governor Perry has brought SB-5, back to life by calling another special legislative session, saying that “too much important work remains undone for the people of Texas”. Business resumes on July 1.

Update: The regime added Obama’s support for Davis during with a tweet at #standwithwendy : “Something special is happening in Austin tonight”.

Leftists are cursing Governor Perry for adding another special session to finish the business which the pro-abortion mob shouted down during the couple hours of 6/25.  Check out more of  Wendy Davis’s classy  twitter backup crew here, and here.

Ob-Gyn Who Stopped his Abortion Practice Testifies in Favor of Limiting Abortions to 20 Weeks.

Dr Anthony P Levatino MD, an Ob-Gyn practitioner in New Mexico has performed about 1200 abortions during his career, with many of them being in the second trimester. After reevaluating the issue of abortion, he discontinued that part of his practice, and is now supporting Trent Frank’s House Bill to limit abortions to less than 20 weeks gestation.

Listen to Dr. Levatino’s testimony HERE.

One of his most salient points is that late term abortion is not useful for saving the life of a woman. The procedure is much too long and harrowing in contrast to the option of delivering a live infant.

Leroy Carhartt’s Nurse Caught in the Whistleblower Race

Late term abortionist Leroy Carhartt may lose the sole remaining  nurse, Lindsey Creekmore, who works at his suburban Omaha, Nebraska clinic.

The state regulators are circling like vultures over this  abortion clinic.  Records show a pattern of improper drug administration and compliance, which could endanger patients served by the abortion clinic.

Carhartt operates another infamous clinic in Germantown, MD, and commutes between the two. It seems that another nurse, who quite the Omaha clinic in April, 2011, has blown the whistle on practices at the facility.  Part of the information which provides the impetus for Lindsey Creekmore’s  prospective disciplinary hearing, scheduled for August 5, comes from that unnamed individual.  It would appear that Ms. Creekmore lost the whistleblower race, and her nursing license may be at risk.

It is recommended that abortion clinic workers who are aware of substandard practices at their place of employment consider contacting the people at ATTWN.org, or operationrescue.org or clinicworker.com, an outreach of Life Dynamics, in order to avoid being caught on the wrong side of the clinic cleanup trend.
