The Hockey Schtick has a Chill Pill for Matt Drudge

THE HOCKEY SCHTICK: ‘Record-breaking’ US heat wave breaks records at < 0.4% of stations during past week.

You know how Matt Drudge goes nutz on the weather stories.   Here’s a chill pill to counteract  the garbage which the media has been pumping out about our little Midwestern heat wave.

Seems that if you look at the NOAA weather database,  negligibly few temperature records were set during the VERY SCARY heat wave.     It was just another  false alarm from the lamestream news to distract us from the fact that Obama’s a loser.

It’s just another summer…. during which we can count on two or three weeks of good heat.  An air conditioner might have been nice this past week, but  having one  when it’s only desirable for a few weeks out of every year really isn’t economical.

Some like it hot.

Jerking the Old Media Around

Time’s Steinmetz Grouses About Way Alaska Governor Released Palin E-mails | NewsBusters.org.

Ken Shepherd over at Newsbusters noticed some whining from the old media that Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell dumped Sarah Palin’s emails on them in printed form.

Call a Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaambulance !

There’s the suggestion that Parnell did it just to jerk the Palin hating journalists around.    If so, that’s hilarious.

But another reason is that electronic redactions sometimes don’t work.   In various programs you can copy paste a redacted document and the printed stuff under the electronically produced black lines will reappear again.

Chrissie Matthews’ Inquiring Mind Wants to Know

Which republican  “Could excite them and turn them on most likely?”

That’s what it’s all about for Chris.  The rest of us are pondering other attributes of our politicians than their capacity for sending a thrill up our legs.

Matthews has also stated that he would not want an interview with Huntsman, Pawlenty or Romney.  He’s just not interested in any possible future presidents if they come from the opposing party.

Those guys just leave his leg COLD, and feeling quite dead.

New Washington Times is Baaaaack

New Washington Times hits stands | Washington Business Journal.

The Washington times has been  purchased by  investors connected with Rev. Sun Myung Moon who had  originally founded the newspaper.

It is back out, with it’s sports page,  down to half price at the news stands, and set to put up a revitalized  website in the near future.   Delivery has also resumed.

Rev. Moon’s paper has been  a standout for  having reporters who dig harder on many stories,  are  more careful with details, and ……..  report accurately on medical matters!

The availability of  a right leaning opinion section is always a plus.

Jennifer Harper of the Washington Times is linked here on the Times.

ABC, NBC, CBS Pantsed again

Bozell Column: Our Deficit-Enabling Media | NewsBusters.org.

Read up as the hypocrisy of the big three networks  (all having completed layoffs of  their own workers for financial reasons)  is exposed.

All three are decrying the effort of Sen. Jim Bunning to enforce the recently passed  PAYGO legislation,  which requires that any new spending be offset by eliminating an equal amount of old spending.    He’s held up the latest unemployment spending,   saying that it needs to come out of the old TARP funds in order to be adherent to the new law.

While ABC attacks Bunning, for example, it has just recently fired 400 of its own employees, as a cost cutting measure.  HEARTLESS!  CBS has also cut back just recently, while NBC did its  major chopping of staff  in 2008.

Toyota Closes Plant, Endures Further Attack from Obamathugs

Amid Toyota recalls, protest of auto plant closure – Sacramento Business, Housing Market News | Sacramento Bee.

Note that this plant was established as a joint venture between GM and Toyota, and Government motors will continue to implode.  A twenty hour per month helper for the CEO is not going to fix the problem of being run by the government.

Yes, Toyota could keep closing auto plants in the U.S.   Maybe they’ll shut down in all the blue states first.

You see,  Toyota  has noticed that the Democrats are Not Industry Friendly.

Whaddaya think was the first clue!!!

Pharmer’s hubby was getting the weather (only reason for checking the news these days) and mentioned a headline scrolling across the bottom of the screen:   Toyota boasting about saving millions by delaying recalls.   This was immediately recognized as B.S., as we are very familiar with what Japanese accept as proper public behavior.    So it was ignored, until seeing Tom Blumer  (an astute businessman) recognizing the same facts in his Newsbusters column, and kindly storing some nice references. Mr. Blumer concurs generally with the crew Down on the Pharm, that the owner of Government Motors is chopping up the competition in Chicago gangland fashion, and the worthless press is going along with it.

Love that Internet!

If there had been an internet back in the 30s and 40s Hitler would have crashed and burned long before millions were killed.

A decade and a half ago, without much knowledge at all, Pharmer started plugging a health care ethics  issue online, on other people’s message boards, until it became news internationally.  This Process took about two and a half years.

Now what happens on the  internet itself is the news, the real news media exists there, and any politician or media mogul can be heard passing gas on the other side of the world in seconds or hours.

Before most people knew how cool O’Keefe is (04-03-2008 to be exact),  Pharmer  linked and blogged his Planned Parenthood videos–  because he stung them for accepting donations earmarked to abort Black babies.

Down on the Pharm, We knew O’Keefe’s compatriots were NOT bugging Landrieu’s phones when that bogus conjecture came out.

Way to go, Andrew Breitbart.  It was so much fun to watch that liar Blumenthal get spanked.
