Tony Ray Thornton was arrested for showing too much of himself at Mackenzie park ballfields. Comments at the above news site state that this location is a gay hangout, so there is a theory that the Lubbock, TX, Planned Parenthood CEO was looking for a date.

Beautiful Bloomington* was the academic home of A.C. Kinsey, that kinky professor who messed with his students and called it sex research. It’s not a surprise that this bright blue leftie place would also allow a planned unparenthood sex educator to design a program to get their little girl scouts busy earlier in life.
The Blaze was a bit equivocal in its last coverage of the involvement of Indiana Rep. Bob Morris, who expressed his disgust at the connection of planned parenthood and Girl Scouts of America. It seems that they’ve amassed enough solid evidence that they’re willing to commit themselves and say yes, the two really are connected.
Indiana Right to Life spotted a little detail about the development of a sex ed program for the girl scouts of Bloomington, and 12 surrounding counties.

*Bloomington, Indiana stands out as the only place, so far, where Pharmer was threatened with arrest (on the campus of Indiana University) for speaking at a prolife students meeting. It’s just that nutty.

Bob Morris, Republican State Rep. From Fort Wayne, Indiana has been catching heat for noticing the relationship between Girl Scouts of America and Planned Parenthood. Pharmer would like to acknowledge his valid comments and decision to pull his daughters out of GSA. There are more family friendly alternatives available.
Pharmer’s daughter was not permitted to join, since this relationship between the two organizations has been long standing. It’s a policy endorsed at the top of the organization, as you can see from this video.

The latest screeching and howling from the left is that a new Virginia bill requiring abortionists to offer ultrasound data to patients before an abortion, including an opportunity to hear fetal heart tones, involves rape. They’ve been whining about the transvaginal probe which is used routinely in early ultrasounds to locate the position of the fetus.
Pharmer guesses that the abortion supporters are really crying now that the (old) news is out:
Planned Parenthood of Virginia Already includes TWO Ultrasounds, one before and one after each abortion procedure. Guess they have been triple raping women all along, because the cannula and the curette are also inserted vaginally during surgical abortion procedures. Krystal Ball, the Virginia native, abortion expert at MSNBC, appears to have forgotten those little details.
The Virginia bill does not specify which kind of ultrasound is to be chosen. That is up to the doctor. Usually a trans-vaginal ultrasound is chosen for earlier pregnancies, for better visualization. But– repeating again, the new law does not specify which method is to be used.

Senior Vice President for Policy, Karen Handel has resigned from the Komen Foundation. She has been credited with initiating the Komen decision to stop funding Planned Parenthood. Handel says she supported the decision but that the idea was initiated before she was hired into her position, in April 2011.
Jill Stanek notes that Karen Handel has declined a severance package from Komen. What this means is that her departure is probably about as good for Komen as the departure of Abby Johnson was for planned unparenthood. Know what I mean?? 😉

Komen gave in to the extortion. They probably received the ultimate pressure. Pharmer would bet that Komen got a call from the IRS !!!! Yes, it’s the second thing that came to mind when hearing of this reversal of their original decision.
A normal group would have been angered by the extortion attempt from Planned Parenthood. The Komen group probably is, but fear is the primary driver that would overcome the anger. The biggest thing for a non-profit to fear is losing non-profit status. The next biggest fear is for the leaders to have their own personal reasons for fearing the tax man. The IRS is the instrument of Obama, who is the protector of planned parenthood.
The first thing that came to Pharmer’s mind: Now EVERYONE knows that Komen gives to planned unparenthood.. You can find another charity now, or give directly to research organizations. A while back, Pharmer celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness month by publishing alternatives to the Komen foundation. Click HERE.
*The Christian coalition is an example of a group which gave up non-profit status in order to continue publishing its issues-only voter guide. Planned unparenthood is an example of a group which has been exempted from the IRS criteria needed to retain non-profit status.
All of planned parenthood’s media is predicting pain and suffering for Komen Foundation, and saying that they picked a side on abortion just because they don’t want the controversy associated with paying for abortions.
There is a claim that planned parenthood made 650,000 dollars based on their media blitz against Komen in this messy divorce.
Komen must have been a very important lynchpin of the abortion chain’s public image for them to scream so loudly. Pharmer thinks they are lying about the backlash, however. Here’s why.
Way back when the Pharmer was creating controversy by defending the rights of health care professionals to avoid participating in abortion, planned parenthood sent out a mailer to all of its constituency. They were given the contact information and exhorted to send their objections directly to your’s truly. This generated exactly ONE emailed response. A single lonely planned parenthood supporter worked up the energy to their convey outrage to this rural dwelling pharmacist.
For this reason, when planned parenthood claims to be getting huge financial response to Komen’s request for a divorce, in today’s economy, Pharmer says B.S..
It’s not true.
Planned parenthoods public relations diarrhea might serve to bring more contributions to Komen from the pro-life set.

Click above for a bit of inside scoop on the “divorce” of Susan G Komen Foundation and Planned Parenthood. Jill Stanek predicts that Komen is totally finished with funding planned parenthood, and one reason is that the latter organization took their “divorce” to the press, as a means of punishment.
Pharmer would be more enthusiastic about Komen foundation if it were really interested in addressing all the means to prevent and cure breast cancer. It seems to have become one of those bloated “non-profit” behemoths which burn a good portion of the funds which could have gone directly towards productive research and interventions.
Some charitable organizations begin a program of self perpetuation, to bring about job security for the employees.
The decision by Komen foundation to ditch planned parenthood likely had more to do with decreasing controversy, increasing income, and less to do with ethical reasoning.
The Komen statement that it does not fund embryonic stem cell research is likely fueled by public awareness that such efforts have produced no positive medical results. Geron, the former industry leader is also bailing out, and moving more resources to adult stem cell work. The statement put forth by Komen claims that it never funded embryonic stem cell research, though it has had prior association with institutions which were carrying out such research.
