Boycott of Girl Scouts of America Gathers Steam

When the Girl Scouts of America decided to honor Abortion Barbie, Wendy Davis, as an outstanding female role model for their girls, it gave further inspiration to the pro-life efforts to boycott the organization.

The Girl Scouts are said to have lost membership, dropping 20 percent  from almost  2.9 to 2.3 million  during the time since John Pisciotta started up his first boycott in 2003. In the same period, donations dropped more than 30 percent, from about 140 million to 104 million, annually.

Piscotti’s boycott was  a local effort addressing the hookup between a regional council and Planned Parenthood, presenting “Nobody’s Fool” and presenting literature to kids which showed various sex acts. He is still at it, and has been joined by numerous other religious and pro-life groups, as more chapters of girl scouts, including some in Indiana, have jumped into bed with Planned Parenthood.

When the Girl Scouts organization put Abortion Barbie (and Kathleen Sebelius)  on their list of Women of the Year, gas was poured on the flames of the GSA boycott.  It’s expected that cookie sales will be poor in 2014.

GSA says that the cookie proceeds go to individual chapters of the organization, but the licensing money that cookie producers pay to the Girl Scout organization is used to promote their leftie organizations of choice, and that includes Planned Parenthood and the leftist World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

Surf the Pharm, for more reasons to keep your daughter out of the Girl Scouts.  There are alternatives, such as Frontier Girls Club and American Heritage Girls, etc…

After years of planned parenthood pushing the morning after pill, they have turned on Plan B One-step, admitting what Pharmer has been saying for years,  that it’s very ineffective.

What Jill Stanek points out is that Planned Parenthood already had a campaign lined up to push Ella (ulipristal acetate) analog of the mifepristone abortion pill, as the new morning after pill, and an IUD, which could bring them even more cash than their  abortion procedures do.  This campaign was already in the pipeline BEFORE Mother Jones spilled the story of Plan B’s ineffectiveness to the low information crowd.  Note that the video linked above was already uploaded on September 3, 2013, prior to the Mother Jones publication.  Anne Glasier’s study of Plan B inefficacy in women was published in 2011.

Back in 2010, Pharmer brought to your attention the CHMP assessment report, filed by the manufacturer of Ella One to  Europe’s version of the FDA. and explained some of the features of the pill.   Initially mentioned was that Ella One, which is called Ella in the U.S. is not very effective, and that the embryocidal dose of the pill is lower than the dose required to stop ovulation, demonstrated in the animal trials.   Also from this report, is the information that the 30mg dose is designed for 60 kg (132 lb) women, is designed to deliver  the 0.5mg/kg dose which the manufacturer stated  to be insufficient to stop ovulation, but effective against pregnancy.  This dose is not sufficient for larger women, and so Ella has  similar efficacy problems as the various forms of Plan B and Plan B One-Step (levonorgestrel).

Expect planned parenthood to sell Ella as long as it can get away with it, then kick the morning after use  aside, as women are persuaded to wear the indwelling coat hanger, Para-Gard, a copper IUD.   Pharmer thinks that planned parenthood will always keep Ella around generically, since it can be substituted for the mifepristone now marketed in the U.S. for chemical abortions.

The CDC abortion results from 2010 report that almost two thirds of abortions in the U.S. are done on women in minority groups.  Some states,  California, New Hampshire and Maryland, representing about 15 percent of the population, did not report to the CDC.   Get the PDF.

In the remaining states, 40.6% of abortions were performed on Black women, compared to 30.1 %

Of the 28 health state health depts. plus NYC and DC  that report both race and ethnicity, 35.7% of abortions were performed on women identified as Black, 21% were performed on Hispanics, and 6.5% were performed on women of other ethnicities.   In these areas, 63.2% of abortions were performed on minority women.

Yes, the Democrats (and RINOS)  manage their voters like livestock, aborting the kids of citizen minorities while they import more people from outside.  This is a very cynical and unethical way to manage the labor force, and the numbers of people on welfare.  It is very odd for the U.S. Catholic Bishops to be going along with this system of human disposal and replacement,  which enriches the largest corporations but depletes the middle class economically.

The right thing to do is to set up the safety net program so that people  obtain a financial advantage from working.

The current system of culling humans is degrading and quite an extreme demonstration of bigotry.  Margaret Sanger would be impressed with the “progessivism”

 

Non News: Plan B Morning After Pill Does Not Work Well for Big Girls

The European manufacturer of Norlevo, which is their version of Plan B  (Levonorgestrel) has very kindly decided to warn people that their product does not work for women over 176 lbs, and is less effective for women over 165 lbs.

Check out the new warning in the Norlevo Package insert for yourself.  It discourages women over 75 Kg from relying on the drug.

This comes under the “told you so” dept. of Pharm information.  In fact, people ALSO could learn here that the newer morning after pill, Ella (ulipristal acetate) has the same problem. 

All of this  is obvious to those who pay attention to how drugs are designed.   Pharmer has openly warned people for years not to expect good efficacy for birth control pills designed for 130lb women  t0 be as efficacious in women who are much larger.

The U.S. recently moved the  snake oil drug, Plan B, over the counter.   Perhaps this was a crony capitalist effort to help manufacturers snap up as much profit as they could before the general news came out that the drug is not reliable for any women, and really worthless for the larger set.

It appears that Mother Jones is the first of the mainstream media to let the kitty out of the bag in the United States.  They note that the average weight of American girls is 166.2 lbs, which puts them over the weight limit for Plan B to  work at its touted 60 percent effectiveness.   The avg weight of Black and Hispanic women from 20-39 years of age is 186 lbs, which means that they can completely forget about Plan B.

Any hospital or clinic  using  this drug as a part of rape treatment is therefore pushing ineffective treatment and  charging fraudulently.   Planned Parenthood and its ilk are doing the same.

Pharmer’s favorite and oft cited birth control researcher, Anna Glasier, sent up a warning flare in 2011. Click on her effort to identify the groups for which morning after pills do not work.

The American manufacturers have not put out this warning in their product package inserts yet.   Please help your female friends  who will be paying $50 bucks for this drug at the pharmacy,  to understand that Plan B One-Step, Next Choice One Dose, My Way, and various generic one and two pill packs of levonorgestrel morning after pills are fairly worthless as birth control, and when they do work, can have an objectionable mechanism that operates AFTER fertilization.    (As a practical matter,  any perverts who are abusing underaged girls ought to be made aware of this too, so that at least one aspect of the abuse might cease.)

Noting that these hormone analogs have weight dependent efficacy, how much should women be relying on the daily or continuously administered birth control drugs????

Pro-lifers Show up at Portland School Meeting to Support Bill Diss

Friday’s Hearing for  Math Teacher Bill Diss, who was suspended for his opposition to Planned Parenthood,  was well attended by pro-lifers showing support.
Says Brendan O’Morchoe for LifeNews.com: “The principal of Diss’ school (who has a documented history of attacking and reprimanding Diss for his pro-life views) and vice principal testified against Diss citing instances of students “feeling uncomfortable” with some of the assignments Diss required from them in his math classes. Curiously, evaluations of Diss prior to 2007 were all exemplary.
Only after Diss’ public opposition to Planned Parenthood in his community did the scrutiny and harassment begin. Fellow teachers and a teachers’ union representative dismissed the concerns raised by the principal and vice principal, citing evidence supported by Portland school laws that Diss had not committed any legitimate wrongdoings in his classroom over the course of his career.”

The name of the principal not given in the LifeNews article, but there has been a change of staff. The Old list from last year  shows Bill Diss, still teaching, and Carol Campbell as Principal The New List,  mostly shown below shows Curtis Wilson as the current principal, and the exemplary math teacher, Mr. Diss is unfortunately gone.   One wonders why there was a change of principals for this school year.  It’s a mystery.

Lifenews says that Mr. Diss has a lot of support among the students, parents and other teachers.  Students for life will be providing the updates and outcome of the decision at the Portland Public School district.

Portland Schools to Take Math Teacher’s License Because He Opposed Planned Parenthood

It appears that Bill Diss, a respected and much loved math teacher in Portland Oregon might be declared Unfit to Teach because of his open opposition to Planned Parenthood and its baby killing ways.  His formal hearing is tomorrow, at the headquarters for the Portland Public School which is located at 501 N. Dixon Street in Portland, Oregon, beginning at 4 p.m. on November 14.

You might have read this story about Mr. Diss, walking out of a planned parenthood sex ed class that had invaded his classroom at the behest of his superiors.

It’s a fact that public school teachers might be put on probation or given unpaid leave if they molest their own students, but if they oppose planned parenthood………. they can lose their license to teach.

We Told You So: Obama Really Good at Killing

Filled with scoops of dirt from the underbelly of the 2012 Presidential Campaign,  “Double Down: Game Change 2012” by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann also features a big non-surprise for pro-lifers.  We told you all along of Obama’s propensity for killing.  One of the dirt nuggets from Game Change, attributed to an Obama aide, is of the president commenting on his drone program, and that he is ‘really good at killing people’.    Normally this might be brushed off as hearsay, if we didn’t already know that Obama vigorously defended the practice of infanticide while he was a state senator in Illinois, and that steadfast support of abortion remains the only political promise he has kept.

 Check out Tom Blumer’s Roundup of commentary and stats on just how good Obama is at using drones. It’s interesting that his remote controlled killing vastly outstrips Bush’s use of that method. During Obama’s 5 years: drone strikes in Pakistan number 326, in Yemen, 93, and several in Somalia. A total of 52 drone strikes occurred during Bush’s 8 years.

Pro-life “Ninja Spies” BUST Obama Left for Supporting Late Term Abortion

Operation Rescue is known in pro-life circles for having “ninja spy” tentacles which diligently keep tabs on the abortion sellers and supporters.  This time, they have busted Barack Obama’s far left, Organizing for Action group for nationalizing the local Albuquerque, NM issue of limiting abortion to 20 weeks gestation.  A petition in that city brought up a referendum to protect pain capable unborn children by prohibiting abortions after 20 weeks.  At this point, protection for late term babies appears to have majority support from likely voters.

Obama’s minions are attempting to bring outside volunteers and money to oppose the municipal  late term abortion ban in Albuquerque.  A email by Kelli Lamb of BarackObama.com,  and the womens’ issues coordinator for Obama’s Organizing for Action, brought leftists together to hear from Jennifer Lawson, field director of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. She solicited funds and volunteers from the OFA  national conference call, to overcome the initiative to prohibit late term abortions after 20 weeks.

Operation Rescue reminds us that Obama is still all about abortion, more abortion, tax funded abortion, and late term abortion.  The one promise that our infanticidal president seems to keep is his pledge to back Planned Parenthood, and back the killing of unborn, intrapartum, and post partum babies.

Christine Quinn Would Supply Morning After Pill to 11 Year Old Girls

In New York City, there’s a hot democrat mayoral race, headlined by two practitioners of moral turpitude, Anthony Weiner and Christine Quinn.  If either one of them wins, New York loses, but more than half of the citizenry there is completely clueless.

Christine Quinn, current speaker of the city council, is good buddy to planned parenthood and foe to pregnancy care centers.  She is  pushing to supply the morning after pill in middle schools.  Mayor Bloomberg has  already been supplying  the highly ineffective Plan B to the high schools, but Quinn likely knows that in the upcoming economic collapse, people will be renting  or selling their  children as prostitutes.  At that time,  leftie pervs will be out shopping for bargain basement rates, to get what natural selection had denied them in more normal economic and social conditions.    With Plan B and Ella failing up to 50 percent of the time, Quinn’s  friends in the abortion industry will enjoy a strong financial resurgence.

New York’s latest pick of politicians, dredged up from the toilet, might  allow that city to surpass Portland, Oregon, to become the nation’s deepest and smelliest cesspool.
