Nurses Quit Planned Parenthood of Delaware over Unsanitary Conditions

Two nurses, Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich and Joyce Vasikonis have quit their jobs at Planned Parenthood of Delaware’s Wilmington Clinic, complaining of unsafe and unsanitary conditions for the patients. Both have brought their concerns to Wendy Saltzman of ABC News, WPVI.
Readers remember this clinic for the frequent ambulance calls to the facility this year.  ABC is reporting 5 patients transported emergently  from the facility since January 4th.

The two former employees report that the abortionist was working without gloves, that the operating tables were soiled and unclean, and that instruments were being used which were not sterile.   They stated that they quit to protect their own nursing licenses. Vasikonis is quoted: “They could be at risk of getting jepatitis, even AIDS”.  625 North Shipley Street

According to Mary Peterson of the Delaware Dept. of Health and Human Services, the state has no routine system for inspecting abortion clinics. Planned Parenthood of Delaware’s Wilmington facility was inspected in October 2012, following a complaint, but investigators did not notice the troubles which have been reported by the nurses.

Peterson is concerned about the ambulance traffic to Planned Parenthood, stating that they are looking into the situation.

ABC news states that during their news investigation, one doctor and two more nurses have left, with Planned Parenthood not confirming whether they resigned or were fired.

The end of the ABC article ends with a full text statement from Ruth Lytle-Barnaby, the new CEO of Planned Parenthood of Delaware, outlining her high opinion of her  institution, and the plans for cleaning house.

The facility was closed to patients for a routine cleaning on April 9, pending an upcoming investigation. One patient reports plans to sue this Planned Parenthood clinic for a botched abortion.

Everyone is losing their minds over what Tulane professor, Melissa Harris-Perry has to say  in an MSNBC “lean forward” (bend over) ad.  You can check that out for yourself at this link.  

Harris-Perry says that in the U.S. we  “haven’t had a very collective notion that these are our children.” “[W]e have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to their communities,“

Doesn’t this sound like Hillary’s book  “It Takes a Village”?

There’s an idea put forth that kids are community property.   This lead your inquisitive Pharmer to explore just how far this concept goes.

Now that Planned Parenthood and Obama are Out of the Closet for Infanticide,  will the community have anything to say about this?

At what point of development does the baby become community property?

Will you be allowed to conceive without village approval?

Will the community direct when you should have an abortion?

How will this impinge upon the in vitro fertilization industry?  What about those frozen human embryos and the eggs which are being harvested from aborted baby girls?   Do they belong to the community?

If  you deliver a baby, and the “community” thinks she’s an FLK  will the collective be able to tell you to kill her?

Is the community going to insert itself between a leftie-gurl and her abortionist?

Update:  Are you in the mood to call out  the news media for their non-coverage of Kermit Gosnell, Planned Parenthood and Obama’s infanticides?

Pharmer dropped in on Politico just now:

We can see that the Politico has chosen to feature the Texas college stabbing story, but a search of the site reveals N O T H I N G about Abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s ongoing trial for serial murders of already born, near term infants. at his Philadelphia clinic.

Why the attempt to cover this up?? Understand that the leftist media has been scooped thousands of times on this story, which they resolutely choose to ignore. Perhaps it might highlight the Planned Parenthood advocacy of infanticide while lobbying against Florida’s Infants Protection law, and Obama’s own staunch opposition to the Illinois Infants Protection Act.

Has the Infanticide Jumped out of the closet too soon for the media to have learned how to make it look acceptable?

 

 

How Many Born Alive Abortions Have Been Reported?

Not all of them, certainly.

You can bet that Kermit Gosnell was not dutifully reporting each time he snipped the neck of an infant born alive at his abortion clinic.

There have been some reports, however.  During Florida testimony on the Florida Born Alive Infants Protection Bill, which planned parenthood opposed, Representative Cary Pigman provided some statistics.   Here is the text quoting him.

“In 2010, there were 24,586 perinatal deaths in the United States. Perinatal defines as being from the 22nd week of gestation to seven days post delivery.”

“Those are all coded by international classification,” he noted. Regarding babies who die after a botched abortion: “And in 2010, 1,270 infants were reported in that category — and I emphasize reported,” 

“In other words, more than 1,200 babies died following a failed abortion and their whose deaths were reported as “mortality subsequent to an abortion.”

The category of Perinatal Deaths includes those aged 22 weeks gestation up to 7 days post delivery.  Rep. Pigman  also mentioned that in Canada, from 2000-2009, 491  infant deaths, coded as P96.1 “termination of pregnancy affecting fetus and NEWBORN” occurred.  This is their number of babies aged greater than 20 weeks, who were born alive during abortion, who subsequently died.

Remember that  Obama and Planned Parenthood actively opposed the Illinois Born Alive Infant’s Protection act, which could not be passed until Obama left.

UPDATE: Here’s a link to a 2008 video showing Students for Life Busting Planned Parenthood, of Freehold New Jersey, for Infanticide. The nurse in this video was advocating labor induction for at about 22 weeks gestation, and admitting that the babies can be born alive, but are denied care and die soon after.

Abortion supporters have always mocked pro-lifers for worrying about the slippery slope of ever increasing killing.  At the same time, the pro-aborts have been setting the stage for this massive eugenic killing all along.

We’ve noticed the near blackout of the media during the trial of Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia abortionist known for snipping the cervical spines of babies born alive at his clinic.

Now you can see a Florida lobbyist from Planned Parenthood, Alisa LaPolt Snow,  arguing for abortionists and parents to be allowed  to kill babies born alive at their clinics.  She is shown addressing the Civil Justice Subcommittee of the Florida House of representatives.

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

Another representative questioned Snow again on this, and got the same result.

Let there be no mistake……. Planned Parenthood has always been about killing “unwanted” humans.

Oregon Public School Teacher May Be Fired for Dissing Planned Parenthood

Benson High School, in Portland Oregon has suspended, and may fire a pro-life teacher, ostensibly for his opposition to Planned Parenthood.   Bill Diss, who has taught computer science and math in the public schools for 11 years, is known, and sometimes baited by the students due to his openly pro-life views.

The math teacher was escorted out of the school by police on March 19th, and is on paid leave, awaiting a possible firing.   This is thought to stem from his refusal, in September of last year, to allow two planned parenthood employees into his classroom, because they did not have proper ID.   They were supposedly there to teach an optional sex-ed class to the students.  Mr. Diss also organized a protest at a school board meeting against Planned Parenthood’s presence in the school district.  He says that he had  kept his protests against planned parenthood outside of work until they were invited into the school to teach.

Another issue of contention was the use of Mr. Diss’s name on permission  forms sent home to the parents of students, for planned parenthood’s teen outreach program.   His attorney contested the misuse of Diss’s name as though he endorsed the TOP program, and demanded a retraction of statements on the forms.  Since that time,  the school officials have been sending notes to Diss concerning his teaching practices, and requiring him to attend various hearings.   He has been told that his teaching contract will not be renewed.

Diss concludes that it “appears to be much more important for the school to have Planned Parenthood at Benson than it is to have a teacher teach computer science and math”.

Rae Stabosz reports having her phone taken from her, and being pushed to the ground by an angry woman, while she was protesting in front of Planned Parenthood’s  Wilmington Delaware Clinic, (625 Shipley St.)

She had been filming  the fourth emergency transport of a patient from that facility within the last five weeks, tallied by Operation Rescue.  It seems that the clinic has been having a run of bad luck, though they serve as a training site for budding new abortionists.

Ms. Stabosz, a 63 year old grandmother of 12, reports that she was able to get back up, after being knocked down, go into the clinic and retrieve her phone from the receptionist.

What makes most non profit 501 (C)(3) tax exempt groups so quiet about their causes? Why are they afraid to name names, and speak loudly against the politicians who oppose them? On this past Pulpit Freedom Sunday, more than 1500 Pastors openly defied the 1954 IRS regulation which sought to squash political speech by non profit groups, by scaring them with the IRS boogieman.
In all these 58 years, the IRS has done next to nothing against politically activist churches and non-profits. The IRS has only succeeded in stripping one church of its tax exempt status, in 1992. That particular church in Binghamton, NY ran newspaper ads against Bill Clinton and his positions on abortion and homosexuality.
Since then the IRS has sent only warning letters to a relatively few churches, and since then has had a policy of not enforcing this law.
The Pulpit Freedom Sunday supporters believe that the IRS fears losing ground on this First Amendment issue.

So…….. Why are so many churches and pro-life 501(c)(3) groups so quiet and polite about the political issues which impinge on their cause?
Why don’t they take a chance with their own careers, and income, as so many pro-life health care professionals have been doing? If they led by example, more people would be standing up and taking personal risks to stand up for life.

Don’t forget, the supposedly non-profit, tax funded, and tax exempt planned unparenthood has been openly funding and endorsing candidates for years.

As the Abortion proponents use today as a special time  to market their wares,  Pro-lifers can turn the day into a big debate.  Don’t forget to remind people that the 40th anniversary March for Life is happening on the 25th, and that the media will ignore this huge rally,  even though it will be bigger than the crowd at the second inauguration of our abortionist-in-chief.
