What David Marsland Really Said

David Marsland is scary, because he wants to let the government forcibly sterilize people, and pick which ones, but his statement is not quite as some reports indicated. A number of pro life and religious publications headlined that UK sociology Professor Marsland wanted to sterilize the unfit, or called for forced sterilization, etc. This isn’t exactly so.
It’s a natural, emotional response to wish that the gamete flow of child abusers could be corked up, as Marsland does. However, no one has the moral authority to force these bodily mutilations on other people. There needs to be recognition of a human autonomy to determine what is done to (just) one’s own body.

Marsland trusts government to decide who’s a child abuser, and forcibly sterilize these people.

Governments have shown themselves to be far too whacko to make any type of medical  decisions for anyone.

Pharmer is finding Marsland to be plenty misguided, with a seriously addled faith in government, but his actual words, recommending sterilization of child abusers, have him sounding more depressed and hopeless, and less a Hitler-ian eugenicist as some have implied.

Woman Eaten Alive by Maggots

Here’s a gross media contribution from just across the state line, about a Cincinnati woman’s untimely death. Apparently Jorene White, a sufferer from severe arthritis, was found in bed, with maggots eating the dead flesh of her bedsores, after a call to the police from her husband Darrell White.

Mr. White is in prison, accused of causing her death by neglect. Upon his arrest, he stated that his wife refused medical help, they did not have money for that help, and that he cared for her the best he could.

The woman in some audible reports was said to have been bedridden for 15 years.

There are a number of problems in this story of neglect. Two adults other than Mr. White and his wife are said to have shared that abode. He is the only one charged. While it is certain that Jorene White’s care was inadequate, it is not at all certain that any malice or intention to cause harm was involved. Obviously Mr. White was not well equipped for the exhausting, 24/7  job, and this condition applies to the majority of people.

The news story details no background leading up to this sad state of affairs.

The news story (styled for shock value) fails to acknowledge that many people, of little means, die from neglect due to lack of awareness that medical care is available for them. The media lie that 49 million Americans have no access to care has deeply sunken roots, and has caused many not to seek the existing medical help. We look forward now to the looming, rationed obama-care which that media lie was designed to bring about.

Maggots abound in the summer and are happy to offer free debridement services, removing necrotic tissue from any open sore which is not visible and regularly cleaned by professionals or other caregivers. Jorene White is among multitudes who have been found in this condition, in the U.S..

We know that the Rev. Al Sharpton makes income from stirring up racial discord, and he attempted it again at Beck’s big rally (half million people) in Washington this past weekend.

Mychal Massie, who heads up Project 21, has issued a challenge to Al Sharpton to debate “whether race is more important than equality of all men under the constitution and under God”.

Wired youth forget how to write in China and Japan.

This is the consequence of using pinyin and romaji transliterations of Chinese and Japanese written language on computers and phones, and also in the case of Japanese, using the hirigana syllabary in place of  the more complex kanji characters.

Both written languages have been greatly simplified from their original forms, though they are still extremely  laborious to memorize.

Cell phones can be both the source of the problem, and the means to look up the forgotten characters.   There also exist  optical character recognition programs in  phone apps which serve as aids in translating Kanji.

The purpose of creating bills with language that the writers cannot read is to be sure that most  Amerians cannot read them also.

Remember when Obama issued an executive order to fund embryonic stem cell research and overturned Bush’s order encouraging funding to adult stem cell research?

There’s a new court  injunction against Obama’s  ridiculous executive order, which was for the purpose of cutting off funding for research which has yielded many successes, and transferring money to a wholly unsuccessful (and immoral) avenue.

Dr Laura to Leave the Airwaves

Dr Laura Schlessinger will give up radio after decades of giving verbal “spankings” to her callers who seemed to be asking for it.

Her propensity for saying ANYTHING, got her into trouble with political correctness, as she repeated that one word which White people aren’t allowed to utter.   Notwithstanding her  purpose of bringing out that odd distinction, and bringing the point that if that insult is to be expunged, Black people need to stop saying it too, she was hounded  for using the word itself when speaking about it, and decided it’s time for a change of venue.

Pharmer likes  Dr. Laura for her candor, and wishes her success in future endeavors which will primarily be online.
