Not only is he retiring……….. Eric Massa is resigning. So perhaps there is a major ethics violation with recorded or written evidence. It usually takes something hugely explosive to pry a Democrat out for unethical conduct.

All three are decrying the effort of Sen. Jim Bunning to enforce the recently passed PAYGO legislation, which requires that any new spending be offset by eliminating an equal amount of old spending. He’s held up the latest unemployment spending, saying that it needs to come out of the old TARP funds in order to be adherent to the new law.
While ABC attacks Bunning, for example, it has just recently fired 400 of its own employees, as a cost cutting measure. HEARTLESS! CBS has also cut back just recently, while NBC did its major chopping of staff in 2008.

Euteneuer, of Human Life International who informs us that Bishop Robert Vasa of Baker Oregon has removed the Catholic affiliation and insignia of St. Charles Hospital in Bend Oregon. The reason why is their refusal to stop doing sterilizations. That would be artificial birth control, and you know what the Catholic Church thinks about that.
One wonders what might be in store for the Catholic affiliated hospitals which are distributing the morning after pill and doing the so-called “therapeutic” abortions.
The Vatican has been moving in some more conservative Bishops, here in the U.S.
There are now seven bishops who won’t collect for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, due to it’s distribution of funds to charities which do not adhere to Catholic values. Expect more of this.
And yes………. Catholic hospitals, time to wake up. With the Catholic affiliation removed, the funding sources will have to change somewhat. There will be increased dependency on the government, and decreased private philanthropy. RU-Ready for Chaaaaaange!

Deutsch is upset by the recalcitrantly republican Cubans. If a lot of your associates and friends are first, second or third generation Cuban imports to America, you will know that about 90 percent of them lean heavily to the right politically. These people know the problems of communism, appreciate American values, and are interested in CONSERVING them. It makes sense that so many Cubans habitually cast a right wing vote.
For those of you unfamiliar with Deutsch’s terminology, “coconut” is to Hispanics as “oreo” is to Blacks. People with an infusion of black or brown skin color, or any mix thereof, are expected by the Liberals to be mentally impaired as a result of this pigmentation, and are thought to need help from the government in order to survive. The racist, bigot lefties consider anyone of independent streak, who refuses help from the government, and prefers to fend for himself to be not fitting their stereotype for those with black or brown skin. From this attitude comes the disparaging language mentioned above.
