Third of Berlin university students consider sex work – Yahoo! News.

Are the university students starving, or are they just EASY.

Under bad economic conditions in the third world, people might turn to prostitution, most often to to obtain  the bare necessities of life.

Now we hear that in Berlin, a third of the students would consider doing sex work in order to finance their education, with 4% of the students already haven given it a try.

The survey reveals that 29 percent of students in Paris, and 18 percent of students in Kiev would also consider sex work for their tuition dollars.

Perhaps the students aren’t  sufficiently healthy  to sell their plasma, which is what we did when the dollars ran out before pay day.

The Onion catches enough truth to make great parody.  Pharmer wonders how Cecile is taking it, since she’s the star of this South Park style article:

What’s tripping up some of these people, who arrange to live on disability for the rest of their lives, is the need for attention.

Stanley Thornton at age 30 lives as an adult baby, though he is able to ambulate, do woodworking and maintain a website.

He’s got a room mate, Sandra Diaz, a former nurse on disability, who acts as his “Mother”.

A television presentation of their odd lifestyle, on National Geographic Channel’s “Taboo” program, has caught the attention Sen. Tom Coburn, who smells a waste of tax payer dollars.

Thornton is now threatening suicide if his SSI payments are cut off.

Maddow Fan Pleads Guilty to Threats Which Led to School Lockdowns – Big Journalism.

Yup…. it was to prove a point.

Rachel Maddow, enflamed by the right wing support of  second amendment rights, had played  an edited clip of a radio talk show host Joyce Kaufman on her show.

Rachel’s own  fan, Ellisa Martinez caught  the Madcow  fire and decided to send a letter threatening  a shooting at a Broward county school.  She called Kaufman’s show saying her husband was on the rampage and would be visiting a local school with his guns.

Ellisa Martinez has been corralled in her home state of California,  and will be jailed for 1-5 years for the threats.

The media would like to remain silent so as to pretend that the threats were generated by talk radio, rather than the  hate speech of Rachel “Madcow”.
