Michigan’s ex governor, Jennifer Granholm went WILD when she spoke at the Democrat National Convention. The video below shows some highlights. Jennifer has a ‘SISTER from another mother’……. televangelist Suzanne Hinn, who is also known for REVVING up her engines, in her most well known sermon on the need for the Holy Ghost. Here’s your chance to see their antics side by side. It’ll make you ask yourself if they might be related to each other, and to Howard Dean 😉 .

Nathan Duszynski Can Barely Afford Hot Dog Stand as Gov’t Regs Keep Coming | TheBlaze.com
Nathan Duszynski Can Barely Afford Hot Dog Stand as Gov’t Regs Keep Coming | TheBlaze.com.
That Holland Michigan kid, Nathan Duzynski is still fighting the uphill battle to run a hotdog stand in his over-regulated, government strangled region. Others are lending him a hand to keep him afloat, with one businessman purchasing the stand, but allowing Nathan to run it at no cost.
Nathan and his parents are now homeless, and have spent time at a homeless shelter in Holland.
For each Private event that Nathan books to serve hotdogs a new health department permit is required. The last one cost 200 bucks, and Nathan barely broke even on his sales.
The heavy hand of government is keeping this family “in its place”.
Thirteen year old Nathan Duszynski of Holland, Michigan saved up his lawn mowing money and bought a hot dog stand in order to bring in some income for his family. Both of his parents are disabled.
At the City Hall of Holland, Michigan Nathan and his parents were told that it would be fine to open up a hot dog stand, and no licenses were required. But on the first day of business for Nathan, the zoning office came down on him, and shut him down.
The hotdog stand is now up for sale, and one more American, small-business dream is squashed by big government.
Michigan Senate Republicans Allow SEIU To Bully Home Caregivers
Michigan Senate Republicans Allow SEIU To Bully Home Caregivers.
The SEIU has been skimming medicaid money, meant for the home care of disabled people, by forcing the caregivers (usually the parents) to be union members. This scam operates in a number of states including Illinois, California and Michigan. In 2011, the Michigan house voted to end this scheme.
This year the bill is stalled in the Michigan senate, apparently because the Senate Appropriations Committee Chair, Roger Khan works for cheap. It does not matter that the Saginaw Senator has an R after his name. He received $5000 dollars from the SEIU on the day that the bill came to the Senate. Now it’s blocked. Money from medicaid will continue to flow to the SEIU, at a rate of about six million dollars per year, from this scam alone.
SEIU Skimming from Michigan Medicaid Checks
A five year old Michigan law calls parents who take care of their disabled kids “home health care workers” and forces them into the SEIU. This allows the union to skim a monthly $30 from the kids medicaid checks, which of course gets recycled for use in electing democrats.

in her front yard.
Click to check out this cool garden: Does Michelle Obama Know About This? | The Agitator.
The Bass family of Oak Park, Michigan decided to plant vegetables in their front yard after a sewer line was replaced. Since the grass was torn up, and the yard trashed, they determined to do something useful and put in beautiful raised beds of vegetables.
City planner Kevin Rulkowski has deemed this unsuitable use of private property, and has proffered a new definition of that word, to justify prosecution of one Julie Bass, for the offense of planting vegetables in her own front yard.
Ms. Bass has demanded a jury trial and may face up to 93 days in jail if convicted of illicit vegetable planting.
Take one more look under the top link to see that vegetable garden.

The police can plug your cellphone into a device (sold by Cellebrite) and extract your personal data, and it appears that this is being done to motorists being stopped in Michigan.
This has got the ACLU pretty worked up, and in this rare case, they are probably correct.

Aborting In Another State For Privacy?
If you are thinking of having an abortion in another state for the sake of privacy….. Just remember that it’s OK in Michigan to dispose of the aborted fetuses in regular dumpsters, in bags, labeled with the name of the MOM.
“Joy Yearout, a spokeswoman for the Michigan attorney general’s office, said the office investigated the disposal of fetuses by WomansChoice, 6500 Centurion Drive, and found it had not violated the public health code. “……..”Yearout said the state attorney general’s office concluded the documents “uncovered in our investigation are not of the nature that would be criminally charged under the state medical records statute.”
