Unreasonable Search of Cellphones by Michigan Police

ACLU: Michigan cops stealing drivers’ phone data | Crave – CNET.

The police can plug your cellphone into a device (sold by Cellebrite)  and extract your personal data, and it appears that this is being done to motorists being stopped in Michigan.

This has got the ACLU pretty worked up, and in this rare case, they are probably correct.
