Celestial Discharge: John Pombe Magufuli

God bless Tanzanian president, John Pombe Magufuli, who has been celestially discharged from this life. He is remembered as a highly educated man, who began his career as a science and math teacher. This was followed by political and public works employment, first as a member of parliament in 1995, then in various positions as Minister of Works, Minister of Land and Human Settlement, and Minister of Livestock and Fisheries, and again as Minister of Works. He was called ‘bulldozer’ for his vigor in pushing infrastructure and cleanup projects.

Beginning his first term as President of Tanzania in 2015, President Magufuli led in the populist style, known as a strong promoter of his country’s economic development. He was also known as a cost cutter, and for applying this equally to himself by quartering his own salary. Magufuli won his second term in 2020 amid criticism that his administration had restricted opposition and their rallies.

Worldwide, the Tanzanian president became known for refusing to shut down his country, and for demonstrating positive COVID tests in a piece of fruit, and a goat, and other non-human samples, casting doubt upon their reliability. (In January, the World Health Organization finally admitted that the PCR test is not sufficient to diagnose COVID, as the technological faults and excessive false positives have become obvious. ) Perhaps President Magufuli’s skepticism arose from his educational background (Ph.D. in Chemistry). Instead of remembering his inquiring mind, as well as his efforts to build up Tanzania, the media critics are insisting (currently without proof) that his death was from COVID, rather than long standing heart problems, and suggesting that it is deserved. They’re also criticizing his interest in herbal COVID treatments containing Artemisia which are being utilized on other African continents, Asia, and among herbalists in the West.

Here on the Pharm, we remember an independent thinking leader who seemed quite sincere in helping his country to prosper. Prayers for his family and for continued growth and success of the Nation that President Magufuli has departed in God’s time.

Scandal-Plagued Steve Capus Out as NBC News President

Scandal-Plagued Steve Capus Out as NBC News President.

John Nolte at Breitbart is feeling fulfilled.  He’s been beating on NBC, and the chief of the News division, Steve Capus,  concerning their repeated fraudulent reporting, and editing of video and audio to shill for Obama.

Mr. Nolte is feeling vindicated because Steve Capus, who recently signed an extended  contract with NBC, has Resigned  from his position as president.

Republicans Push Todd Akins Out After His “Legitimate Rape” Comment.

Todd Akins used the word “legitimate” to describe the kind of rape which is easily identifiable as such, due to violence and trauma. For this reason, he is being told to leave the Missouri senate race, after having won the primary. There was a time when rape was rape, and rarely were adjectives applied. This was before Western women became so amenable to sex with strangers, before children in primary schools were being groomed for underage sex activity, and before all the new shades of gray. Probably Akin should have said “violent rape” but his off-teleprompter choice of words has been declared an unforgivable sin.

The establishment Republicans are too stupid to save America, and therefore should be replaced.

They’re so fearful about the feigned outrage of leftists about a statement that the physiological stress from a violent rape act is not conducive to pregnancy. The same Republicans are not offended by the infanticidal president, who vigorously opposed the Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which could not be passed until he left the state legislature. Obama thinks it’s fine for babies to be killed after they are born, and the vast majority of people think it’s “legitimate” for this kind of nut job to be president. Pharmer wants no more association with the morally bankrupt Republicans who have acceded to this thinking.

Those who think it makes sense to offer a woman abortion after a pregnancy after rape, should avail themselves of the various studies showing a very strong association of abortion and increased rate of suicide. Given the present data, it is malpractice to encourage abortion to treat a woman who has already been traumatized by rape.

Tea Partiers need to wake up and actively oppose the alliance of the RNC with the leftists on this matter. Please don’t waste your political contributions on the wimps of the RNC. Support only worthwhile conservatives.

No Surprise dept of ODD News

44 – Obama’s Indonesian gay nanny and other things from his past.

The nanny business is zero surprise,  but  this little tale below is worth some attention.  (Italics added.)

From the Washington  post article:

Finally, the Times relates a story from one of Obama’s boyhood friends that some might say presaged the future.

One time, recalled the elder son, Slamet Januadi, now 52, Mr. Obama asked a group of boys whether they wanted to grow up to be president, a soldier or a businessman. A president would own nothing while a soldier would possess weapons and a businessmen would have money, the young Obama explained.

Mr. Januadi and his younger brother, both of whom later joined the Indonesian military, said they wanted to become soldiers. Another boy, a future banker, said he would become a businessman.

“Then Barry said he would become president and order the soldier to guard him and the businessman to use his money to build him something,” Mr. Januadi said. “We told him, ‘You cheated. You didn’t give us those details.’ “

“But we all became what we said we would,” he said.
