Idaho City Forces Pastors to Officiate Same Sex Weddings or Go To Jail

You knew it would come to this, but it certainly has happened very quickly.  It no longer is a choice for Religious Ministers to participate in same sex weddings in the city of Couer d’Alene, Idaho.

A city ordinance demands the participation of local pastors, and those who refuse face jail and a daily fine of $1000 dollars.

The Alliance Defending Freedom is taking up the case of Pastors Donald and Evelyn Knapp, who declined on Friday to officiate a ceremony.   They now face a 180 day jail sentence  and $1000 dollars fine for each day they refuse to comply.

How to Know the Attack on Indiana RFRA has Nothing to do with Civil Rights.

Tim Cook of Apple has been whining about Indiana’s RFRA, but he has been selling his products in countries which have a policy of killing people for being homosexual.  It’s quite blatant.

Apple Stores in Tehran There are more Apple stores in Tehran than in the entire state of Indiana.  This might be some kind of favoritism, or perhaps a death wish.  Does Cook fantasize about being snuffed by a big, strong, radical Islamist who thinks homosexual people should not be allowed to live?  That is just too weird, so what else could fuel his oddly inconsistent behavior?

Most likely, Cook will do anything to secure power for the leftists, but he really is playing with fire. Anything could happen to him once the Islamists or the leftists no longer find him useful.

Gay conservatives, and those who respect their right to life, are asking Tim Cook to account for his agenda and his display of apparent hypocrisy. 

Same Sex Marriage Anti-Narrative

The NBCI, National Black Church Initiative, is made up of 15 denominations representing 16 million Black Americians.  This group has cut ties with the Presbyterian Church USA  after the latter denomination decided to include same sex unions within its definition of marriage.

Said Rev. Anthony Evans, NBCI president, “There is always redemption in the body of Christ through confession of faith and adhering to Holy Scripture.”  He called on Christians to show ‘tough love’ to the Presbyterian church by ‘refusing to associate with the denomination until it changes its ways’.

On the another front:  businesswoman Courtney Hoffman, who is a lesbian, donated to the Memories Pizza fundraiser, and publicly supported the right of that business not to service same sex weddings.  Though she disagrees with them, she defended their right of self determination, saying that she would not want to forced as a businesswoman to support causes that she did not believe in.

Conservatives should keep in mind that the media charade surrounding the Indiana RFRA is a bogus thing, coming mostly from the leftist democrats.  It’s a tool to make conservative voters lose respect for republican wimps, and stay home from the elections.   The militant/intolerant Gaystapo, so prominently celebrated by the media,  is a relatively small group.

People might better attend to their investments, and carefully reconsider association or investments with  corporations run by those who cooperated with this latest, false media meme.

Jess Dooley, who coaches golf at Concord High School, Elkhart Indiana, owned the now defunct twitter page below.
She is now suspended from her job while this Klan-like  threat of violence is being investigated.

Memories  Pizza, in Walkertown, IN  gained public attention with an announcement that they would not cater same sex wedding ceremonies.

Such petulant behavior is not unexpected from the left.

Leftist Persecution of Christians: The Barronelle Stutzman Story

The Attorney General of Washington State wants to destroy the Floral business of Barronelle Stutzman, as well as take her home and personal assets because she does not believe in same sex marriage. Though she provided many other floral services for customers of the homosexual persuasion, she drew the line at doing same sex weddings because she believes that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman.

So far, a state judge is ruling against Barronelle Stutzman, but her lawyers are appealing.   This case could eventually move to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Perhaps the Washington State  Persecutor of Christians,  Attorney General, Bob Ferguson will eventually  be  held liable for all legal fees and any damages to Mrs. Stutzman in this case, when it eventually comes to a conclusion.

The Rest of America Learns that Incest is Legal in Blue New Jersey.

We, the people of rural-flyover country, have heard thousands of snide comments from leftists about kissing cousins, incest, banjos, ad nauseam.   Columbia University professor, David Epstein has already demonstrated to us all that lefties should be pointing fingers at themselves.  He had a four year affair with his adult daughter which went very public about the same time his wife found out, and his facebook page disappeared.  In an effort to decipher the first hints of this news, yours truly did some research, and discovered that it is legal in New York state for cousins to marry, but NOT in Kentucky.  Apparently it is also OK for an uncle and niece to marry in that state.

A new story of father daughter incest has revealed that it is legal for an adult parent to marry his offspring in the very blue state of New Jersey.  The internet is ablaze with a story of a 18 year old woman from the Great Lakes area who intends to move to New Jersey with her father, with whom she had recently reunited, and discovered a sexual attraction.  They hope to be married and raise a family there.

Lame Stream Media Fights “Obama is Gay” Rumors

Out of nowhere pops a story from the Washington Post, averring that Reggie Love likes women.  With the above linked  story is a priceless pic of Reggie and Barrie on a date.

The claim is that, during the 2008 campaign, candidate Obama walked in on Reggie Love while he and a lady friend were in bed.  This claim comes from Reggie’s yet to be released memoir.   What’s the rush on this story?  Perhaps Joan River’s comments pricked a little too deeply.

According to the memoir, Obama later in the day referred to this event, saying “Well Reggie, it’s actually not a consolation to me that my campaign for president can help subsidize your love life.” 

Reggie’s book is expected to be published by Simon and Schuster in February.

Tim Cook’s Small Brick

Given that  people in China are routinely arrested for homosexual activity, and many land in jail for this type of “licentiousness”, Tim Cook’s offer of his “brick”  in the path of “justice” for gays seems not so momentous.

The CEO of Apple (which produces most of its products in China) imagines that he’s become more connected with the civil rights leaders of the past, by publicly announcing which kind of sex he likes.  Says Cook in  Bloomberg Business Week :

“When I arrive in my office each morning, I’m greeted by framed photos of Dr. King and Robert F. Kennedy. I don’t pretend that writing this puts me in their league. All it does is allow me to look at those pictures and know that I’m doing my part, however small, to help others. We pave the sunlit path toward justice together, brick by brick. This is my brick.”

After this offering……….. how is Tim Cook addressing his biiiig China difficulty?   Is it similar to the way that Warren Buffet addresses his own taxes vs. what you should happily pay?

White House Covers Up It’s Own War on Women

Dept of Homeland Security investigators were put on administrative leave when they complained about pressure to delay reporting on this scandal:
Jonathan Dach, a White house volunteer on the advance team for the president’s travels to Cartagena, Columbia, kept a prostitute in his hotel room. Dach is the son of a big Obama donor, Leslie Dach, who has worked with Michelle on her “Let’s Move” campaign against obesity.
The lid on this violation of State policy, to avoid prostitution even where it is legal, has been blown two years after the fact. Unfortunately for the Dems……… it’s right before the election.
Where has Jonathan Dach been spending his time on the job? Of COURSE!!! He’s in the State Department’s Office on Global women’s issues which focuses on such things as prostitution and human trafficking.

Oh Ya!!!!! The fox guarding the hens…………

Dach was excused from the punishment meted out to the secret service agents who engaged in similar behavior on that Cartagena junket.  Perhaps he has better connections.

Would you please torture  leftists with this news bite when they bring up the phantom Republican war on women??????

Something More Important than Where You Put It

In the present day it seems that thinking about where to put it is more than a full time job.  For some it seems to occupy every waking hour, and has become the extreme of sexual fetishism.

Sing over Me is a new film about the life journey of Dennis Jernigan, who spent a number of years in the homosexual lifestyle.  In his mid twenties, Mr. Jernigan, a renowned Christian singer and lyricist, decided that something else was more important.  His decision, to have God tell him who he is, will likely crunch many  leftie undies into a wad.  The songwriter tells his story in the indie film released this week on Vimeo and to interested theaters.

With the likes of TeenWire  and a rabidly obsessed media beating sex-fetishism into the minds of kids, the constant refrain repeated by the brainwashed is that having sex is inevitable, and not a matter of choice.  For many it seems as automatic as breathing, eating and taking a dump.

Films such as Sing over Me and Desire of the Everlasting Hills tell stories of profound changes in people who came to the conclusion that something else is more important than sex.
