The Downside of Seeking A Board Certified Obstetrician to Deliver Your Baby

ACOG Again Denies Conscience Rights of Doctors on Abortion | LifeNews.com.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists have repeated their 2007 opinion that refusing to participate in abortion is unethical, and it could cause one’s board certification to be revoked.

So  maybe ABOG’s certification isn’t the kind that physicians ought to be seeking since that organization relies on ACOG to determine what is ethical behavior.  (See Section III, part F of the 2011 Bulletin for basic certification in obstetrics and gynecology.)

Yes it’s true,  a physician  could lose board certification for refusing to perform or participate in abortion, and this fact is not lost on the American Association of Pro-life Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

YouTube – SO IT STARTS – Senate Bill 510 – Organic Farmer Fined 5000 For Growing Crops On Own Land.

Though Steve Miller, of Clarkston Georgia sought and gained rezoning for his organic produce farm,  Dekalb county officials are still going after him for growing too many vegetables.  They are prosecuting him and intend to fine him $5000 for the now defunct zoning problem.

See how easy it is to contact the Dekalb County Board of Commissioners?  All their emails are right HERE!

So….. this man’s problem- which is currently just with his own county- ought to be made into a  national issue, because it doesn’t stop in Georgia.  The Feds wish to do similar things  to all of us  too.

Track the Federal  Senate Bill 510 here.   Dick Durbin is the sponsor.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran has been losing friends for a long time, we know.   A number of other Muslim nations wish he would just disappear.  In addition, there has been movement in the Iranian parliament to impeach the guy.

This pair of bombing attacks are not the first targeting Iran’s nuclear scientists.

These strikes  were carried out in two different locations of Tehran. One bomb was attached to the window of a moving car and  killed Dr Majid Shahriari,  nuclear engineering prof  at  Tehran University, and wounded his wife. The second bomb seriously wounded nuclear physicist Dr Fereidoun Abbasi. and also injured his wife.

The bombings  follow the stuxnet worm attack on Iran’s nuclear centrifuge apparatus….. which has really messed it up, and the killing of scientist Massoud Ali Mohammadi last January.

Abortion Crackdown in Bangkok

Bangkok Post : Pills seized in abortion raid.

The Public Health Ministry of Thailand has seized large stores of illicit pharmaceuticals as part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal abortion clinics.  Earlier in November, 2002 aborted babies were found stored at a Buddhist temple in Bangkok.

Legal abortion in Thailand is  limited mainly  to cases of rape or incest, fetal abnormality, or ‘danger to the mother’s life’.

The health ministry’s action against illegal abortion clinics uncovered large stocks of MTpill (mifepristone) cytolog (misopristil),  antibiotics and drugs for impotence, at one of four illicit drug producers said to be located in Bangkok.

Article on the aftermath at the Buddhist temple (Wat Phai Ngern Chotanaram), containing much political double talk, is worth a read.

For the Guys who Don’t Use Deoderant: Axiron

Australian Firm To Sell World’s First Armpit Testosterone Lotion In US.

Acrux, a Melbourne, Australia drug company is bringing Axiron, a new topical testosterone product to market in the U.S., to treat male hypgonadism (testosterone insufficiency).

Axiron is designed to be rubbed into the armpits, where absorption is believed to be most efficient, barring hair and other obstructions, such as deoderant ;-).

This product will compete with Androgel and Testim, which already occupy niches the U.S. prescription market.  The backs of the shoulders or upper arms are the preferred sites of application for these products.  Directions specify areas which are covered by a short sleeve shirt.

Acrux is not yet marketing this product in Australia, but claims their new testosterone  lotion dries faster and is less tacky and sticky.

US government Seizes Bit Torrent search engine Domain and Others

U.S. Government Seizes BitTorrent Search Engine Domain and More | TorrentFreak.

This current  move is more about piracy, but is also to show  us how the government can censor, and quell dissent a bit.

Unfortunately the government has also seized domains which aren’t actually doing any piracy.  This kind of incompetence is par for the course.

The best part of the above linked articles is down in the comments, where you will learn to hold onto IP address of the sites you like the most and continue to use them after the govt has grabbed the domain name, and the various ways this can be done.  Also there are  alternative domain name servers and other web mechanisms such as Netsukuku, Osiris Serverless Portal, Tor hidden services.

Pharmer is no expert, but remains convinced that this mode of communication will not be easy for governments  to control.

They’ll pull the plug next

And remember these TSA  people don’t change gloves.

Sanitary Towel Prompts TSA To Grope Sexual Assault Victim.

This woman failed the backscatter scan, due to her feminine hygiene product, and got the groping.

Portion of the Complainants email:

“These new scans are so horrible that if you are wearing something unusual (like a piece of cloth on your panties) then you will be subjected to a search where a woman repeatedly has to check your “groin” while another woman watches on (two in my case – they were training in a new girl – awesome).

So please, please, tell the ladies not to wear their liners at the airport (I didn’t even have an insert in). I’m a strong, confident woman; I’m an Army vet (which is why those camo liners crack me up), I work full-time and go to graduate school full-time, I have a wonderful husband, and I don’t take any nonsense from anyone. I don’t dramatize, and I don’t exaggerate. I’m trying to give you a sense of who I am so you won’t think that this is a plea for attention, or a jumping on the bandwagon about the recent TSA proposed boycott.

I just don’t want another woman to have to go through the “patting down” because she didn’t know that her glad-rag would be a matter of national security.”

The Muslims will be exempted from this, because their religion is respected by the administration.

Bugs R Us – Alaska Report

Gonorrhea outbreak puts Alaska in uphill battle with STD | McClatchy.

Gonorrhea cases are  up 69 % from 2008 to 2009 according to data reported to the CDC.   Some attribute it to increased reporting.

Chlamydia often accompanies gonorrhea and frequently the choice is made to  treat both ‘bugs’ if one is diagnosed.

More  information comes from comments appended to the McClatchy artircle linked at the top.

“Redpoll”,  reported  at 13:50 11/26,  from his Alaskan village about the population most affected by the STD outbreak:

“The destruction of Native culture by the government is startling to witness, and part of that destruction is the replacement of family by state programs. Every girl in the high school is placed on long-term contraception. Out-of-wedlock births hover around 80 percent. As a fourth-grader once told me about learning math: “Why should I learn this s***? White people are going to give me a house when I grow up.” (The smartest kid in the class, BTW.) Layer on that alcohol and drug use that is at unbelievable levels. Lording over everything is the attitude by outsiders with college degrees who seem to think that they have to “fix” these people, and almost always make the situation worse.”

“In that destruction and chaos, sexual promiscuity is rampant, and that, of course, leads to epidemics of STDs. Maybe if Native people were left alone to cultivate their own ways of living, knowledge, and culture, this would change.

And that’s the rest of the story.
