More Reasons to Homeschool – packed lunches banned

Another headline doesn’t match the article about a Chicago school which bans packed lunch unless the student has a medical excuse for dietary restriction.   Religious dietary restrictions  are not mentioned, so it’s interesting to think of what Muslim kids would do with the pork weenies.  Is fish being served on Fridays?  Likely the Chicago Tribune reporter did not have enough social background to formulate such questions and address them in the article.

School’s food is the only option for some kids – chicagotribune.com.

Principal, Elsa Carmona has a mission to “protect students from their own unhealthful food choices”.  The policy is said to have been in formulated six years ago, but has only become newsworthy today.   Perhaps it was noticed that government picks up the tab for much of the food served at the school.   The article notes that most of the food taken by the students is being thrown away.

Oops! TV Anchor Caught Mocking Former Dem Rep on Live TV | The Blaze.

From the Cincinnati Area  main stream media, celebrating former Rep (D) OH  Steve Driehaus’s decision to move his whole family to Swaziland and work with the Peace Corp.

(The decision might have something to do with his self -humiliation of suing the pro-lifers for their campaign work against him. It’s a good time to leave the neighborhood for a bit.)

One of the news-grrls, at local WLWT Sheree Paolello was mocking Driehaus during the piece, and her mic was live.  OOPS!   Take a look fast because YouTube will probably pull this one down soon.

Paolello later issued an apology.

*Update 4/13:…. As predicted, the video is pulled down from YouTube. You knew that wouldn’t last.
What happened is that there was an audio-visual snafu at the studio. The interview with Driehaus was playing and suddenly sound switched. Sheree was overheard mimicking a man’s voice saying: “I’m completely depressed that I’m joining the Peace Corps. How did I lose to Steve Chabot and”……….. the sound was cut, and a few seconds later, sound of the interview was turned back on.

Someone at the studio got a spanking for fiddling with the switches, Pharmer bets.

Chevy Recalls Cruze After A Steering Wheel Falls Off – Driver’s Seat – WSJ.

The steering wheel fell off of a Chevy Cruze while the driver was  on the road.

Imagine going down a curvy road, or the highway and suddenly your steering wheel is useless.

(This actually happened to the Pharmer also……. a last model 1977 Ford Maverick.  In this case, the collar stripped, after many years of use.  So the loss was not quite as complete and sudden as in this case of the Government Motors  Cruze.)

The excuse is that a wrong steering wheel was put on in the assembly line,  then it was removed and replaced with the correct one, but the attachment was not done properly.   OOPS!

Immigrant left Vietnam to Escape Religious Persecution

Arsonist sets Jesus statue on fire | kare11.com.

..only to find that it continues here in the U.S.  Tuan Pham  was imprisoned in Vietnam for his Catholic beliefs.   He later emigrated to the U.S.  only to find hostility towards his religious beliefs and practice in Minnesota.

An arsonist set fire to a 7 foot statue of Jesus which Mr. Pham  had  placed in his prayer garden.  The city of St. Paul  is also demanding that the statue be moved, having received a complaint about its visibility.

Anticipating their possible loss of tax payer funding, Lawrence O’Donnell weeps for planned parenthood.

Like Obama, who refused to assist his Auntie Zeituni and other impoverished relatives, the well-paid O’Donnell admits to allowing his friends to suffer inadequate medical care, dental care, and inability to watch his show on cable. He expects us to pay for that.

The Republicans could not say no to Obama on the budget.  We will need to replace more of them.

Over at Jill Stanek’s place the question of Republican strategy and use of planned parenthood funding as a bargaining chip is discussed.

There may be multiple opportunities to show the public how important abortion is to the Dems.

Right now we know it’s more important to the Dems  to fund planned parenthood than it is to pay military personnel who are fighting in Obama’s three wars.

People who are forced to work  (military can be jailed for going AWOL) without pay are called SLAVES.

Democrats Will Shut Down Government over Planned Parenthood Funding

Planned Parenthood is one of the very Few groups which Obama and the Dems would not throw under the bus. Others are the Unions and George Soros.  Almost any one else is expendable, from the greenies to the anti-war groups, and the military itself. Some of the loyalty stems from planned parenthood’s persistent campaign funding expenditures for democrats.

Obama is ready to shut down the government in order to hold onto the Planned Parenthood group.  He does not want to defund them, even though it is within the scope of the rich Dems to replace 330 million of tax payer funds with private funds.   Their position is that we should all be forced to pay for abortions, birth control, and aiding the sex slave trade.

The pro-life groups starting long ago with Mark Crutcher have established Planned Parenthood’s complicity with those who sexually abuse minor girls, with his Eight Hundred, 800,  calls to abortion clinics, including a large number of planned parenthoods. Here is the collection from just the state of Illinois.

Lila Rose and Live Action gave us more audio and very well done video to drive home the same point.   Jill Stanek and Lila Rose provided  more audio showing that there is no mammography equipment at the planned parenthood facilities, driving home the point that the cancer screening, and Komen foundation funding is a scam.    One can obtain the grope exam at any airport, from the TSA. 😉

Planned Parenthood is closing its unprofitable clinics, and showing a  trend to move  towards focus on abortion services.   It is also not giving away free services.   The claim that they are focused on charitable efforts for low income people is a scam.  They do not provide free health care. They outsource the charity patients to public health facilities if medicaid and related funding cannot be obtained.

With all this in mind,  Remember that  Obama and your Democrats could not produce a budget, and are needing the Republicans to do so.

The Republicans are wanting to defund Planned Parenthood and have prepared a separate bill to fund paychecks for military personnel if the Dems shut down the government on this.  It appears that most of the dems oppose this bill.

Pharmer hopes that the Republicans don’t wimp out this time…. and it’s looking like they’ll stick to their guns  this weekend.
